Got a pizza today from rolling tomato truck and it was burnt. That's you could taste. Very disappointing.

I'll make this simple: the pizza is really, really good. Whether you go for a red or white pie, you're going to be satisfied. The pizza is on the smaller side, so it's nice that you can order halves. I don't think I've ever seen a pizza place do this--very unique and helpful, especially if you want to order a little extra or try more than one kind. The crust is incredible. It's light and fluffy with a slight crunch on the outside. Beautiful dough-bubbles on the inside. The place itself isn't anything special. No frills, just good pizza. It's BYOB which is awesome. Their other food is yummy as well. The wings are great and the appetizers are tasty. You can't go wrong no matter what you get. But please do not leave without trying the pizza.

Great Pizza & Rosemary Bread! Seen the signs for on my drive home and finally went to try them. Rosemary bread was DELICIOUS, recommended by the staff. We ordered half Lady Killer and half Big Stubby. We plan on getting pizzas from here every time we crave now.

Another kid's birthday party, another opportunity to explore new locales. I've heard of the Rolling Tomato from their food trucks that serve pizza etc. at various locales in SE CT. So I figured I'd give them a try. This location serves both takeout and dining in options. Interior is typical pizzeria decor, but everything was clean and tidy. I came at an off hour so there were only two other customers. Service was fast- it didn't take more than 10 minutes to get my pizza. The food was quite good- sliced sausage (as I say, always a big plus), and eggplant which was unfortunately breaded, but the breading was not heavy and didn't overwhelm the eggplant. The dough was light, the sauce provided the background flavor, and there was a decent amount of cheese. All in all- a very good pizza indeed! Recommend!

Ordered 3Large Pizza's (2pep reg and 1GF pep) for a training class in the area, the cost was over 40 bucks, and they were SMALL! Plus one looked like the picture posted, when called to ask about it, the guy said it's normal because the GF crust does that and it's normal for them. REALLY?? The company will never be ordering from them again!

They have an extensive menu and everything we've ever had was absolutely delicious. We've had pizza, fried clams, salads, and many different sandwiches and grinders. Yesterday we had a small sausage/pepperoni pizza and a Chef's Salad. FYI: the salad is large enough for 3 or 4 people, if you care to share. The ambiance is casual. The restaurant is very clean. There is road parking out front and a smallish private parking lot along the side and in the back. There is a back door entrance if you park in back. There are many good things to say about Ocean Pizza in New London. We highly recommend them. Actually, I can't believe we haven't left a review before. They certainly deserve the 5 stars we're giving them.

There's something special about a place where you can sense the care, history, and pride behind the counter, and this is exactly that kind of spot. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is genuinely personal, and you can tell the staff takes joy in what they do. I ordered a classic pepperoni pizza, and it arrived hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The crust had that perfect, old-school texture you only get from a place that's been doing it right for years. The pepperoni had just the right amount of crisp, and the cheese was melted beautifully--simple, traditional, and incredibly satisfying. We also tried the onion rings, and I have to stop and highlight them: Who is still making onion rings fresh these days? These folks are--and you can taste the difference. Golden, crisp, and not the least bit greasy. It's the kind of side that reminds you why homemade is always worth it. I was dining with friends who ordered the chicken salad and the fish and chips. Both dishes were generously portioned and prepared with the same level of care. The fish and chips in particular drew a lot of praise at our table. If you're anywhere near New London, don't miss this gem. Ocean Pizza is the kind of place that reminds you why family-run restaurants are so treasured--great food, warm people, and a sense of tradition that keeps you wanting to come back. Highly recommended.

That being said- there is one debate where I will not give an inch, will not back down, will not be dissuaded or told I am wrong: Supreme has the best grinders- full stop. Every aspect of every grinder I've ever had from them (that number is probably nearing four digits, since I've been coming here since the early 90's) has been flawless. The fresh bread, the meat, the cheese, the crisp shredded lettuce- all comes together to form THE perfect grinder, every single time. I can't think of a single other restaurant where I've never thought, "Eh, not their best." A supreme grinder will hit the spot day in and day out. The grinders aren't the only place Supreme shines though- the pizza is out of this world. Living in southeastern Connecticut, I'm well aware that I'm spoiled when it comes to pizza. Within a stones throw, there are a half dozen excellent options. When I get that craving, though, Supreme is always my top choice. As good as the meals are, half the fun is going to pick it up. Tim, Nick, and the rest of the staff create a friendly, fun, and vibrant atmosphere where something as simple as picking up lunch makes you feel like you're visiting family. Oh yeah- Don't forget the rice pudding!

I remembered we stopped here a couple of years ago and it's time to return. I had the chicken parm grinder with fried peppers and it was so melt in your mouth tasty I could eat it again right now. The cheese was gooey and stringy while keeping the chicken crunchy (how did you do that?). My son had the gluten free pizza with bacon and ate the whole thing. We were soon directed to a small table and provided menus. We decided on sharing a pastrami grinder. The portion size was good though the amount of iceberg lettuce was almost overwhelming. Unfortunately my half was devoid of pastrami at one end which I did not realize until I was almost finished due the aforementioned quantity of lettuce. Did I mention there was a lot, too much, iceberg lettuce? Looking at the portion size of various meals at other tables, I doubt too many people depart while still hungry, In fact most people leave with a doggy bag that I doubt there doggy will ever see. Service throughout was very good. Lastly, did I mention that there was an abundance of iceberg lettuce?
