The staff was prepared for us, as the guys had checked out how well our group of 8 would fit, one in a wheelchair. The food was excellent, from the pancakes to the eggs/bacon/toast/hashbrowns/home fries to the fresh fruit cup -- all of it was great. Our hostess/waitress was very attentive in so many ways, including getting a group picture of us for our photos from this trip. I'd like to think we may be back in the area again -- not sure -- BUT, we'd all go again.

The one person there had no idea how to calculate this, and he said there was no one at all that he could ask, he said he did not know how to charge me correctly for what I ordered, and then asked, "So do you want it or not?" at the price for a whole Supreme. Not cool. The service was not at ALL what I'd call friendly. I will admit that this is a brand-new business, and I am sure that there is probably a learning curve and some unexpected issues that will come up, and that need to be figured out how to be dealt with. But please, at least be welcoming and friendly to your customers, and if there is a problem you can't solve, at least acknowledge it and apologize. Smaller than most wineries use for tastings. There was maybe 2.5 ounces of wine in that glass -- I am not kidding. One and a half short swallows, and it was gone! I brought it up to the person who delivered the food and she said it was a "standard pour" -- I said it most definitely was not. I left there and went straight to Barboursville Winery and got a glass of their Brut Rose for the same price and it took me an hour to drink it...no comparison. It was a regular size (and beautiful) champagne flute. So if you want any wine at Grelen, you better buy the bottle or it will be ounce for ounce one of the most expensive wines you've ever had...the sandwich was good and a generous size.
