On top of that when you pay for your meal they put a "Customer Service Charge" on your bill after they tell you a lower price when you ordered. When I inquired about the fee they told me it was because I paid with a card and that is the fee they pay from their card service company. And they charge you tax on that fee as well (not legal). Now for the food: The burger had so much pepper on it that is was not even edible. Even after scrapping off the pepper it was still not edible. The chicken was decent size but tasted like it was fried with fish which means they do not change the oil once a week. Fries same taste as chicken and mostly soggy. Buns bought from local grocery store. Do not waste your time or money

The waitress is helpful and friendly. I just wanted some wings and she helped me take advantage of the BOGO wings reward via the app. Very kind of her. As I wait for my order, I can't but help be annoyed by the music. It is way too loud for an empty restaurant. And the music choice is more for a party, not for 2pm on a Tuesday. I considered leaving but stuck it out. I'm still waiting on my order of wings. I didn't order anything else and the place isn't busy, so why are these taking so long? Still waiting. This is crazy. Well they finally arrived. I got the honey BQ. They were good but it wasn't the glaze I was expecting. Either way, they were good. They came out good and hot. I'm not sure I'd come back here, but for today, it was fine.

She smiled and walked away.

The Good The Appeal: Located near downtown Frankfort is a Mom & Pop BBQ restaurant that has a menu with a little bit of something for everyone. With the smoker on site and Cat fish Fridays, everyone in your party can find something they really enjoy. The Bad (?): I couldn't really find anything bad about this place and I've been many, many times. I do know BBQ is a lot like Bourbon. Everyone does it a little different. But with the array of meat cuts and flavors, it's a solid restaurant to check out. Overall I love stacks. The staff is always nice and helpful. You can ask questions about the food and they are always read to help you find what you're looking for. It's a very unique little gem in our capital city, you have to try it out!

The texture of the chicken was perfect, but I expected more flavor from "Nashville hot honey." I wanted heat with a sweet finish, and it needed salt. To be fair, I've been gluten-free for 14 years, so I have nothing to compare it to. Even so, ordering a gluten-free fried chicken sandwich was an absolute treat. My husband had the classic burger and said it was great. The menu doesn't advertise it, but they source their beef locally. It's essentially a low-key farm-to-table spot. I took points off for atmosphere because we weren't offered a choice between indoor and outdoor seating. We were simply seated outside. It was an unusually warm fall day, which should have been ideal, but we spent the entire meal shooing away flies and bees (I'm allergic to bees). That ruined the dining-on-the-water experience. I would 100% return. I may not dream of this meal, but I'll remember their gluten-free accommodations, and it's worth your time.

For the meal I went with the NY Strip for $26 and she got shrimp and grits for $20. I found the steak to be over cooked and under seasoned. My wife, however, LOVED the ship and grits.
