The worst steak I've ever tried in my entire life. I couldn't even eat it, it was so bad. I couldn't even take it home to my cat it was so bad. I told the server and she said "oh ok". No solution. I went to the bathroom and it was filthy. The seat on the table we were at was ripped and peeling. Hadn't been wiped off with crumbs. Overall I didn't feel comfortable here. Probably one reason these places are closing all over is the service is just awful. We waited 20 mins at one of the only kinda clean tables in the place and not a menu or a server or anything. Asked for blue cheese dressing, received Ranch dressing instead. 10 minutes after food was dropped off, waiter came back. Informed of mix up. He said "Sorry my bad". But never came back with Blue Cheese? Must have just forgot. Basically inedible anyway. It was left uneaten. If you want to watch a game and drink a beer it had lots of TV. Our waitress greeted us with, "Our Coke machine is broken, so you can't have soda, but I can get you water." No hello, how are you, thanks for coming in, etc. The boneless wings are overly breaded (think chicken nugget), and the corned beef on the Rueben is so overly processed (nothing like what you would find in NYC). Always enjoy coming here. They have a great selection of craft beers on tap. The servers and bartender are all personable and attentive. Food is great and apparently the nuclear sauce is way hotter than the blazing at BW3's according to my fiancé. He loves that stuff and they never hesitate to bring him a side upon request. Just don't go! This place is a hot mess. The service was fine (even thought we had to ask twice for refills). The food came out one meal at a time over the course of 20 minutes and was awful! (Except the wings). The door said they closed at midnight but at 9:15 they told an elderly couple the kitchen closed at 9:00 so they couldn't come in. Packed house tonight but no wait for a party of 4 or less. Haven't been here in years. Parking is difficult just because of the way it's situated. We got the chips and salsa for an appetizer. Salsa is really good however we had to get them to redo the chips because they were so greasy they bent when you picked them up. They brought out a second set and they were perfect. I got wings and they were good. Not great, a little over cooked but I do love the buffalo sauce. Becca got the fish with rice and broccoli. She got it grilled. Very good and just the right portion. The manager repeatedly pulled her to the side, delaying service and only serving to make matters worse. If you're looking for the feel of a pub/sports bar as advertised then you're likely to be disappointed. I came with a small group to watch a football game and aside from my team winning there was nothing particularly outstanding about this place. The banners hanging from the ceiling blocked parts of the TVs and the food was okay at best. The overall atmosphere was trying to live up to the expectations but fell short. But the staff was friendly and took care of us well. It certainly wasn't a bad experience but it wasn't the type of sports bar feel that people want when going somewhere to have a beer and watch the game. read more

Let me preface this review by making a couple points: 1. I'm referencing our entire experience at the restaurant tonight, not just our server 2. As someone who works in a service/tipping industry I try to be understanding and we don't believe in not tipping, so we didn't take it out on our server. We've dined at this Beef O'Bradys a couple of times prior to this and enjoyed the food enough to return. While it's never been anything to write home about, there's decent tasting bar food, a few craft beer options and it's reasonably priced. Today is a holiday (labor day) and the restaurant was not busy at 5:15. For the hour and 15ish mins we were there, there were no more than 12 tables full between 3 servers and a bartender (there were a few patrons in the bar area). Our appetizer took a really long time for a fried app to come out, and it was definitely not hot. Our sandwiches and fries were delivered by a different server, fries were cold. Our server FINALLY asked if things were ok a while after we started in on our food... as they sat down at the table to count their tips. Never noticed our empty drinks. A while later when I caught their eye again we were asked if we needed anything and I requested more water, which took a long time to finally be refilled. So my sandwich, the one item that was hot, was continuing to get cold as I sat and waited on more to drink. The only thing that came promptly was a box and the check when we finally got their attention again to ask for those. Our server smelled so strongly of whatever fragrance they chose to dowse themselves in prior to their shift that it was downright distracting, borderline nauseating. One server wore black sweatpants in addition to their restaurant tee... it's a sports bar, I get it, casual uniforms, but com'on! Undergarments were exposed anytime the sweatpant-clad server bent/knelt/reached for anything. Another couple was seated in the same section as we were shortly before we left, and all of the servers choice of communicating this to alert the others about who's table it was, was to point and shout across the restaurant. I don't know if it's just THAT crappy to work on a Monday holiday or what, but wow. What a day Beef O'Brady's in Frankfort was having. All I can say is that I hope if you, dear reader of this review, choose to go here that they'll be more on their game. Seems a shame to not be able to churn out semi decent fried bar foods and burgers in a timely manner, with full drinks and good service. read more

So this is what it's like to enjoy a sports bar? I came here on TDY to watch the Super Bowl and was first and foremost impressed with their array of locally crafted beer. Not being from the area, I often like to make my judgement calls on a place based on their microbreweries. Kentucky was not a letdown. I didn't end up ordering anything to eat, but I did nibble on my friend's fries. Our poor server more than had her hands full with all of us, but she did so with grace. She was quite friendly and very attentive to our needs. My glass was never empty for long. If I ever find myself in Kentucky again, I will definitely consider dining at Beef O'Brady's and partaking of their delicious craft beer. read more

An average experience, nothing that's great, but also nothing that's terrible. I wish the wing sauce were thicker so that it didn't run off and pool in the bottom of the basket. The wings are actually cooked very well, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The dipping sauces also seemed thin, perhaps they are skimping on condiments. Husband and I placed an online curbside pickup order. He got the OMG burger, I got Fish and chips (ordered fries and fried pickles for sides). We ordered mozzarella planks for an appetizer and funnel fries for dessert. First issue: Even though we ordered it curbside, we had to go inside. Second issue: Tries to tell my husband that it was a phone order which is why they couldn't bring it out. Stating that the bartender was the one who took it and they can't leave the bar. The receipt even said online order in big bold letters across the top. Third issue: I check the order before we left. No fries for the fish and chips and no dipping sauces for funnel fries. We called and explained we were missing items and were treated to no apology but a massive attitude. Fourth issue: While my husband went back inside to pickup the missing items, they tried to tell him it was our fault we didn't receive the the dipping sauces. They still offered no apology for the missing fries. My husband pointed out that the website specifically says that the funnel fries come with sauce. In the end we got our food and a free appetizer coupon. I'm not sure if we'll actually ever use it. After all how is it fish and chips without chips? How is lying and attitude customer service? Horrid service. Excellent chicken tenders and bar chips. But service seriously put a damper on the good food and cheap beer. Took forever to get orders and were asked to tab out when we weren't even halfway through our time here because the waitress was getting off work. Which is no problem except the other waitress who was taking over only came by after about thirty minutes when we wanted to order before the first waitress brought us our first check. Where to begin, starting off the waitress was rude, I had ordered shrimp and broccoli but she had brought out shrimp tacos that was smothered in cheese and taco sauce, the waitress couldn't comprehend that all I wanted was shrimp and broccoli, instead I spent 5 minutes trying to make her understand and her response was "you've got shrimp what more do you want and here's your bowl of broccoli." The floors were nasty and unswept and the tables were sticky and unclean. I was told I would get a discount on my bill but instead I was charged for the shrimp tacos but I didn't even order the shrimp tacos in the first place.
