Short but sweet experience here! Lots of locals, clearly having a great time, contributed to a a great vibe. Great space for live music, game day - you name it! I enjoyed the Poison Apple Cider, which was your choice of whiskey with apple cider, and perfectly proportioned. Yum! Might have enjoyed better warm but it was a great flavor. My boyfriend ordered a pour of the Michter's U.S. #1 Toasted Barrel, and really enjoyed it. Our only qualm here was the very sweet bartender - who wasn't overwhelmed at all - had a hard time locating the bourbon because she claimed to be "blind as a bat," which then hindered us from wanting to order anything else, lest we feel like a hindrance to her. Great little hole in the wall!

If you're looking for a nice dive bar, a place to play pool, throw darts, have a beer or cocktail and listen to live music then pop in the Brick Alley. Prices are reasonable, bartender is friendly and the cutest doggie mascot. We enjoyed ourselves and if we lived in Frankfort we'd be back to listen to one of the bands playing on the weekends.

Right downtown and amazingly friendly dive bar.

Our server was the sweetest gal, handling everything herself from orders to bartending to serving and clearing tables, she never missed a beat. We're in bourbon country so of course ordered the Old Fashioned and the Manhattan, both were superb and came out quickly. We expected to wait just a bit for our meals but happily they came out quickly as well. Hubby's hot chicken sandwich was amazing with just the right amount of heat and condiments. I felt so lucky to get gluten free chicken tenders, I had very little expectations, I was just so happy to see them! They were phenomenal! If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back and I highly recommend them to anybody looking for a 5 star stop in downtown Frankfort.

I removed the bread ate the chicken there was a side salad but it tastes like the leaves from the tree out side. It is sad because it's a great location and if you want good clientele you must focus on the clients needs taste and wants not just base your business on sole location. remained hungry customer.

The dining room is set up to accommodate parties of two or four, all the way to large groups, with places for individuals at the bar. Table service is provided and our server was friendly. Hubby chose the Hot Brown with a side salad and I went for the liver and onions with mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, and gravy on the side for the livers. Hubby tries the Hot Brown at a lot of restaurants and said it was good. The liver was tender and tasty with the onions and gravy on the side, and the mashed potatoes and green beans were a good accompaniment. The portions were satisfying and neither of us had room for dessert. We were pleased with the experience, and with more items on the menu to try, we will be back.

We tried the chili dogs and fries, the fish sandwich special (which came with fries and slaw), and the chicken tenders appetizer. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The fish sandwich was perfectly fried -- crisp on the outside, flaky and tender on the inside. Even the chicken tenders were standout. Portions were generous, prices were very reasonable, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. The staff was friendly, attentive, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Bonus points for the fun UK basketball décor -- fans of the Cats will feel right at home. If you're in the mood for traditional fried food done well in a laid-back setting with excellent service, this place is absolutely worth a visit. We visit often!
