I was ready to start a Change.org petition against whatever bird-related war crime this was, but THEN -- enter BJ, our server and unofficial Chicken Redemption Specialist. BJ swooped in like a flavor fairy godparent and got us fresh chicken that actually resembled meat. Respect. The chips and salsa? ELITE. If I could bottle that salsa and use it as cologne, I would. We came out to Frankfort tonight with my girlfriend and my best friend to get dinner and drinks. My girlfriend ordered the Triple Dipper, and my friend Jordan and I both ordered the 3 for Me meals. Our server was in training (I'm sorry I forgot his name!), and the girl training him -- I believe her name was Kristi -- was fantastic. They were both incredibly sweet, attentive, and quick. Our salads and drinks came out fast, and everything looked great. My friend also ordered the Presidente Margarita, and he said it was excellent and he'd definitely order it again. The restaurant itself was very clean, even though we came in close to closing time. The staff never rushed us or made us feel like an inconvenience -- they were kind and patient the entire time. The only issue of the night was the food. My girlfriend's Triple Dipper was great, but both Jordan's and my Cajun pasta came out cold. We let our server know, and he immediately grabbed management. Management came over to apologize, which I really appreciated. We ended up having it removed from the order and just enjoyed our drinks for the rest of the evening. While the food missed the mark this time, the customer service truly made up for it. As someone who's worked in the restaurant industry, I know these things happen -- and it was clearly a kitchen issue, not on our server. Because the service was so strong and the staff handled everything so well, I'd definitely come back and give this place another chance. This might be the last time I eat at Chili's. Not to show my age but they went to a scan of their menus they still have the drink menus on a laminated sheet but no food menus. I am old school and I love to browse a menu. I think by the time you go through all the categories. This was the worst experience of my life. I was charged $19.56 for a small kids pasta, a coke, and a piece of garlic bread.

So we got right in on a Tuesday nite and was seated, the service was pretty fast and our food also came out quickly. The burger and chicken crispers was pretty average tho same with fries. My favorite place to go when I'm in Frankfort. The place didn't seem too busy and was quiet. I usually get to-go, and I'm hardly ever disappointed with that. We got the triple dipper: big mouth bites, cheese wedges, and honeybbq wings. The burgers were good, the cheese wedges were of great size and excellent, and the wings seemed like a mix of honey bbq and buffalo sauce, but were fine enough. I got the Big Bacon Rancher burger with their signature sauce instead of ranch, and no onions, which tasted amazing, and I took the rest of it home for later. The fries were sadly underwhelming this time around and will probably be the only flaw. My grandma got the seafood pasta, which she enjoyed, and we took it home for later. Very expensive though. We live in Frankfort and we hadn't had Chili's in a LONG time and figured we'd give it a try. We waited over an hour for our to-go to be ready. It was over 20 minutes past due when we pulled into our to-go spot and we finally went in to grab it. When we got home we found we were missing half of our items. When we went back we had to wait an additional 30 minutes. The employees were rude about the situation and all of the missing pieces were cold when we got home. Very disappointing for $40+ order. I used to love Chilis years ago and seems they have done some serious changes to happy hour. With all the options they have on tap they only offer domestic light draft (2 beers) on happy hour. The majority of their taps are not light and/or craft. I guess I've become a little snobby on the beer side and find it not fair that a lot of establishments do not off anything other than domestic on happy hour. I understand they need to make $$$ but come on $6.85 for a blue moon is a little much compared to other places and it's not considered a craft beer. Seems service has become a little more relaxed at this location also. This particular evening I ordered the quesadilla explosion salad without citrus balsamic and with the ancho ranch dressing on the side. We received our food and no dressing so I told our waitress. She bring us more drinks and asks how our food was. I explained that I still have no dressing for my salad. Now mind you this is a fairly large salad and when she comes back she brings the smallest cup imaginable with the dressing in it. I politely commented and said I'm going to need more dressing than that. I finally got the dressing desired and the salad was enjoyable as always. Today we ordered online at 12:30 pm and receive an email saying wings would be ready for pickup at 12:48 pm, which is when we arrived and checked in online. At 1 pm I went inside to check on the status of our orders and was told it wasn't ready yet. It was FINALLY brought to our car at 1:12 pm, 24 minutes after we were told it would be ready. Then, when we got home, we discovered 1 of the 2 cokes we ordered was a sweet tea. I understand current staffing issues, but these type issues happen every time we've ordered from here. read more

Chili's has recently upped their car side to go game. Before, you'd place an order online, including make and model of your car, and then arrive and wait...and wait until you figured out they weren't bringing it out and you'd finally go in to retrieve your order. I don't mind going in to get it, it was just confusing. Recently though, they've instituted a texting system, where after placing your online order, you immediately get a text telling you that when you arrive to text "here" and the food will be brought out. Works like a charm. Car side to go is now quick and easy with no confusion. Came here tonight for a nice dinner. Place is well kept, clean bathrooms. Food was brought out fast. I LOVE their menu of soft drinks. I travel through Frankfort several times a year, and this Chili's is close to my hotel. I LOVE the curbside pick-up, and I especially LOVE their to-go alcoholic drinks menu. All times I placed an order, the food was ready when I pulled up to pick it up. There have been some small issues with orders, like, I ordered extra cheese and there was no extra cheese. Or I ordered some avocado slices and they weren't there. While disappointing, it didn't affect the quality of the overall meal. read more
