Delicious fish tacos in a relaxing environment. I visited San Antonio for work, Domingo was close to my hotel along the Riverwalk. Food was excellent and my waiter was fantastic. Highly recommended.

I was recommended this place by multiple people and my uber driver, so I had to try it. Make a reservation otherwise you'll be waiting a while. I sat at the bar since the wait was over an hour during Sunday lunch. I ordered the Chips & Guac and Poblano Burger. The guac was super fresh and you get chunks of actual guac. The poblano burger was full of bold flavors and juicy. I was really impressed with both items, and other dishes looked just as good. Will have to be come back and try more dishes!

We arrived without a reservation and could tell the hostess was unsure about seating us, but thankfully she was able to squeeze us in. Restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and situated right along the river walk. Our waitress was friendly and recommended a few different options. I had the green chile enchiladas (sooo delicious, I devoured them) and my husband had the fried chicken sandwich (also fantastic). Our toddler had the kids burger. Everything was delicious and it was such a wonderful dining experience, we will definitely be back!

Located on the Riverwalk, Domingo offers inside and outside seating. They have tents with clear sides up for winter time outdoor seating. Had a customer dinner planned and they tried to seat us inside, but it was very loud, we asked for something outside and they were able to accommodate us after a short wait. Service was good. Food was fantastic. We tried several apps, the guac and elote dip were really good. I had the flat iron steak, it came with a cheese stuffed pepper that was amazing, and roasted crispy potato wedges. The steak was, tender, flavorful and topped with chimichurri sauce. The rest of the group tried enchiladas, tacos and a ribeye, everyone liked their meal. We shared a couple orders of churros for dessert. They were amazing! Served with caramel and chocolate dipping sauces.

Get the enchiladas!! They are not spicy at all, just a few jalapeño slices on top. Very flavorful and great portion size. The cochinita pibil was okay in flavor however was a really small serving size, served with three corn tortillas. Maybe with another side it would have been okay but disappointed as is. Such a cute spot on the riverwalk both indoor and outdoor seating. Just wish we enjoyed the experience more.

We stopped in for a late night drink and churros. Service was top notch. Skinny margarita was outstanding and the restaurant is beautiful. Churros were good too. Very comfortable dining room and cool patio

We came here for a last minute reservation and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. There is outside seating as well as indoor seating and the atmosphere is very nice. The bathrooms are also very private and clean. We ordered the hatch queso, guacamole, and cornbread to start. The queso dip was by far the best thing we had and the other appetizers were good as well. We ordered the flat iron steak and the Baja fish tacos which were alright. The steak was overcooked and the fish tacos were underwhelming. That being said, the other dishes looked good and the drinks and service were great. Overall, a pleasant experience on the river walk!

Really nice spot on the Riverwalk for dinner. We did a little weekend trip to San Antonio for our anniversary and made dinner reservations here. We were seated right near the river which was so nice. It was especially pretty watching it get dark and seeing all the boats go by. I had a delicious mezcal old fashioned that I really loved. I was torn on what to order since we had been out and about eating all day. I wasn't as hungry as I thought I'd be, so I ordered the fish tacos. They were really good and the fish was light and flaky on the inside. My fiance ordered the flat iron steak and loved it. It came with a charred pepper that I ate and loved. Perfect dinner with nice views. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I would go back.

We absolutely loved this restaurant! Even among dozens of lush patio dining on the Riverwalk, Domingo's posh, modern patio ambiance was a stand-out. Not only did I love the wide, open architecture-layout, I loved the view...and the cool overhead music. We loved the vibe so much, we just wanted to hang out there forever! The foods and the drinks were also excellent! We really liked the Beef Taquitos and the Churro but their Baja Fish Tacos were the best! For drinks, I had 2 servings of Honeydew Agua Fresca (mocktail)...and it was very tasty and refreshing. Think my husband had 2 glasses of his usual beer of the moment, Modelo Especial (?). Our waiter, Patrick, did a fine job checking on us throughout our long, leisurely meal. We both agreed that of all the restaurants we visited while on the Riverwalk, this was our favorite!

We had a reservation for brunch. Unfortunately, parking isn't free. You can either park and pay at the hotel where it's located or look around for a nearby paid garage or lot. Upon arriving, we asked for seating by the river, so we had to wait a tad... but no biggie! It was a beautiful day outside. We ordered the churro waffles and the poblano burger- both were great and totally craveable brunch options. The churro waffle had the most luscious whipped cream to pair with the crisp outside of the waffle. The inside was warm and soft... you had to take proper bites to experience all the elements! The poblano burger was just a hearty classic that we couldn't not order- bacon and garlic aioli... say less. Also, I have to note- when we sat down, we mentioned what we wanted but decided to browse the menu just in case we changed our minds from what we saw online. When our waiter came to take our order, he already knew exactly what we wanted! LOL. He must've overheard our little side conversation.

We were walking the Riverwalk and decided to venture outside of the main loop to find a quieter place to eat, and Domingo's did not disappoint. We came for a Sunday brunch and were seated immediately. ATMOSPHERE: The restaurant felt modern and classy, with ample outdoor and indoor seating. The inside is dimly lit with multiple secluded areas for semi-private dining. The inside was comfortably quiet. I can't speak to the parking situation, though official parking elsewhere along the Riverwalk is quite expensive. FOOD: I got the Chicken Fried Chicken, and my friend got the Egg White Omelet. Both tasted great. The chicken was freshly fried, crispy, and flavorful with plenty of gravy and potatoes to eat it with. I liked that the chicken and gravy were savory without being overly salty. My friend was raving about her omelet and greens. SERVICE: Our waiter was great. We requested to sit inside at a booth/table hybrid and they had no problems accommodating our request. Food came out quickly and our waiter checked in with us a few times. PRICE/VALUE: Actually quite reasonable-to-good prices for brunch on the Riverwalk. Our entrees were $17 and $16, respectively. I thought the portions were a bit small, but still good for a solid meal without leaving you feeling overly full. The lunch and dinner entrees looked much pricier but I can't comment on the portions/value for those. Overall, we had a great experience here and will definitely be back next time we visit the San Antonio Riverwalk!

Unfortunately, the place has a much better ambiance than food quality. I was really trying to find a great Mexican or Tex mex spot on the riverwalk and had high expectations for Domingo. I made a reservation for a Saturday night and we were seated prompted at a table outside. Ambiance: the restaurant is located right on the riverwalk and has an upscale feel. They have a large outdoor seating area and bar, as well as inside seating. Food: food was mediocre, especially for the price. We ordered the chips and guac to start. Chips were ok, guac was good, but needed more of it. I was excited for the short rib quesadilla to start, but it was another disappointment. The corn tortillas were just not great and the cheese they used was odd. For entrees, I ordered the Baja fish tacos. The fish was super small and heavily breaded, like chicken tenders. I was expecting light beer battered, but not the case. The toppings were refreshing though. My husband ordered the poblano burger and said it was good. Just seems like the "Mexican" items were not the greatest here. Service: I felt the service was also a bit slow. It seemed to take a while just to get chips and guac. It was better than another Mexican spot we tried on the riverwalk, but I would venture away from the tourist / built up portion of the riverwalk if looking for great food. This place is great for ambiance and drinks though.

Drinks were AMAZING! Bartender Rob made the best Negroni I've ever had. I asked him to use whatever gin he thought best--result was an artistic smooooooth full-bodied drink. Told him when I was done I'd lick the glass if it wasn't considered so uncouth for a 'mature' lady like myself to do so Hubby's Buffalo Trace bourbon old fashioned was also outstanding. Rob was the bartender last night who did such a great job, and his work was even better tonight. We highly recommend The EsquireTavern for excellent cocktails. Those aspects of the Esquire get 5+ stars from us. But the appetizers were not good, close to inedible. It was about 8:30pm or so, so maybe they were getting ready to close out the kitchen but the chalupitas with chicken tasted like rubber, and no flavor at all. The seafood platter had something in it that was breading with shell inside, but no meat of any kind. We couldn't figure out what it was supposed to be. The shrimp was good and the fish was good but those other things... We'll always love the drinks, the long wooden bar, and the ambiance at the Esquire Tavern, but we'll eat somewhere else and come here for before or after dinner drinks.
