This was our Thanksgiving dinner! And it was the best place we could have gone. There food was as delicious as the food in Southern Italy. The sauce! I couldn't stop eating. The lasagna, the spinach pasta, the pizza...everything was absolutely delicious!! I don't think you can go wrong here. We had dinner earlier than the Parisians, so we had the restaurant practically to ourselves. It was so intimate and amazing. We got to sit near the window and have the entire section to ourselves. Not the best Italian food on Planet Earth, but its "good enough" and its one of the more affordable places in the 1st District, with pizzas and pastas from €10-15+. Portions could've been larger, even my wife wasn't very full after per Spaghetti. €11 Veggie Pizza...good enough €12 Spaghetti Bolognese...good enough €13 Parma Ham Pasta...good enough Service was going great until dessert...the waiter forgot to bring a dessert but he insisted my friend didn't order one. The food is not the best but in a very convenient location (as mentioned in other reviews) so we stopped by. This was our 2nd lunch so we just had a drink and a pizza to share amongst the 3 of us. The owner (I think) was super annoyed that we only ordered one thing for 3 people. It's a whole pie! Who in their right mind would eat the whole thing? As I sat there, I realized people were consuming a whole pie for dinner and these were not personal sized pies that you would find in the states. Well whatever, we got a bite of disdain. It is what it is. If you want decent food before your tour, this is the place. Had we walked down a little further we could have tried more "French" places. read more

Don't do it. Nothing tasted homemade. The bolognese sauce tasted like canned spaghetti-O-s, but without any salt. My gnocchi was not cooked and lots of them had gummed up into chunks of 3 or 4 together. Pasta definitely not made in house either. They actually put nutmeg all over the plate as garnish, which is visible in some of the pics, but I hadn't realized that's what it was, because who puts just straight nutmeg all over the plate? We actually ended up paying €50 for dinner for two (no appetizers, no alcoholic drinks) and ended up not eating it and deciding to walk over to another restaurant and ate dinner there instead. You're in Paris, there's so many options. Don't make the same mistake we did, go eat somewhere else. read more

This place is pretty good. The mozzarella sticks are good, but their dipping sauce is really good. I got the pizza with spicy salami per other reviews and really enjoyed it. The salami wasn't very spicy and the crust was very good. My wife got the spaghetti bolognese and thought it was good, but nothing special. The price is very good for Paris. read more

We had the pizza calabrese, which had a nicely spicy salami (but not too spicy), the spaghetti bolognese, and the paglia fieno - which is the pictured dish with cream sauce, ham and peas -YUMMY! Domenico's was conveniently located to our hotel with wonderful reviews so we thought we'd try it. The food was DELICIOUS! We had a green salad with tomatoes and a simple balsamic drizzle to start - fresh and tangy. I had the risotto aux fruits de mer and my companion had the Pomodoro Basilica with spaghetti (the pasta was your choice). Both were cooked to the perfect consistency and again so fresh you'd honestly think it was harvested/caught that day! And for dessert, we tried the semifreddo nougat - miele. I had never had this before and the wait staff kindly described it. It's a bit like vanilla ice cream - with chopped nuts and honey drizzle topping -but better. Would highly recommend this restaurant for dinner or lunch - reasonably priced and delicious - we would definitely return! read more

Great experience from start to finish! We were looking for some carbs after a full day of walking miles and miles around Paris. Domenico did not disappoint. I ordered pasta with prosciutto and peas in cream sauce and my bf had the traditional lasagna. Both dishes had perfectly al dente pasta and a home made richness you expect from great Italian dishes. We shared two pastas. Bolognese and a cream sauce with mushrooms which were both good and a margherita pizza which was tasty and had soft and delicious crust!!!!! I went here during my stay in Paris during the first week in November of 2017. I have never experienced such amazing Italian food in my life. This was hands down one of the best places I ate at in Paris. The decor was nothing too elaborate and overdone. It was a smaller restaurant with a small hometown vibe. The owners were incredibly helpful with wine selection and advice. I ordered the cheese ravioli which was phenomenal. I was visiting Paris for the first time and truly this place was a delight to stumble upon after going to the Louvre. Would definitely recommend. Well, it seemed a little counter intuitive to go to an Italian restaurant in Paris, but it was outstanding. We had the mozzarella and tomato salad with a little balsamic vinegar. The tomatoes were wonderful, the cheese light and flavorful. Outstanding. The minestrone soup was hearty and filling and warming. The pasta with house made pesto was outstanding. A nice little find near the Westin, Touleries Gardens and the Louvre. We came here with our two kids (10 and 12) after a big day at Versailles. All the staff was very friendly including the guy working the bar, who kept my son laughing with silly faces. It's very casual so come as you are. Service was super quick and attentive. Food was good and portions nice size. Pricing very reasonable for this area. We all had a pasta dish, my husband and I split a salad, he had a beer and we shared a dessert, all for 80 euros.
