I had used them many years ago and forgot why I haven't used them since. I called about a supply line leak. Two fellows responded the next door and reviewed the leak. Quoted me $820.00 for fix which I thought was quite high. Thought the fellow needed a small diamond for his wife. I decided to get further bids as time was critical but I wasn't going be over charged. I asked how long the repair would take and he said about an hour and a half. I then was curious and asked if he always made $400.00 dollars plus an hour. His response was slowly "NO" but we just look at the job and quote accordingly. Probably because I have a very nice home. I would never use them in the future or refer anybody I know or don't know. Domco thinks they have a license to steal from their clients. Now I remember why I never called them again and never will. Curious how they stay in business ripping people off like they tried with me. I own an older manufactured home I bought last year and have had a clogged water line to the kitchen since. I contacted Domco plumbing and their response time was awesome. Our sewer was backed up yesterday and our home warranty , First American, told us they couldn't get anyone out for another day. No toilets, no showers, and no use of kitchen sink. In September we came home to find our water boost pump had failed. Since spare parts for unit were no longer available I got a new pump and the parts to install it. Robert came to do the repair and I found him very knowledgeable and friendly. He determined one of the parts I had for the install was not correct, but he had the correct fitting on his truck. He did the install which required new PVC piping. All seemed to work fine. The next day I discovered a water leak but not where Robert had changed the piping. Robert came back the next day and showed me where the original plumber had made a bad connection and tried to cover it up with glueing a piece over the error. Robert replaced the faulty joint again with all the needed parts on his truck. In summary, Domco Plumbing and Robert were very skilled and efficient. I will definitely use them again. read more

Anyways I usually use my neighbor "PJ Plumbing" but today I had an emergency and PJ was not available and told me to contact Domco. I definitely was not happy about that as every other plumber I've ever used ended up charging me insane prices. Long story short, Domcos secretary/answering service was great and sent someone out in less than 30 mins. The two men, Preston and Jody (might be Brody, it's been a long day‍) were so accommodating given the fact I was giving my baby a bath when they walked in because he literally was doing what my toilet was.....its really been a crappy day‍ They unclogged my toilet and told me to replace mine as it's a fancy low one that was installed when the house was built and is going to keep causing problems. I'm definitely going to follow their advice as this toilet is on my top 3rd floor and will flood my walls with crap, literally if it backs up again. I am glad to see that your large company in many areas may do good work at times. However, that was not my experience. I needed a leaky kitchen faucet replaced. so I called Domco. The Folsom office sent two young men to take out the leaky faucet and replace with a new faucet I had purchased. Labor only. The two men did not introduce themselves, and I provided shoe booties for them. They gave me two estimate prices; both higher than I expected, so I suspected a little game going on. The younger person did the work taking considerable time, seemingly running into a problem of some sort they were reluctant to explain to me, while the taller one just stood looking around. When they were finished they took the old faucet with hoses, and all, except paperwork, without asking me my preference. About 3 weeks later, the faucet handle became more stiff and hard to move. Then the bottom joint became stuck and so the faucet would not swivel. Then the faucet came loose on the counter top. It got worse and worse. Not wanting to deal with Domco again, I got another plumber. Night and Day. It was a pleasure working with Harris Plumbing after that headache. read more
