Recently inquired dolphin pools about aping and updating our backyard. Joseph came out, went over the designs and met and exceeded all of our expectations. Would highly recommend at least the consultation and talking to Joseph and seeing your possibilities and options available to you. read more

After working with Joe Ayers from Dolphin Pools I couldn't be happier with my experience so far. Joe came out and answered all my questions, provided detailed pricing, and on site design options right in my living room. Looking forward to doing more business with this company. read more

Our experience with Dolphin pools and their professional crew has been nothing but flawless! From the moment we met with our sales rep Dustin through the end working with Jake Wozniak!! The greatest thing that I love about Dolphin is they were a one stop shop for us. They were able to coordinate everything. We met with others, and they just couldn't do what Dolphin could! They are always so quick to respond! We were kept in the loop, given very real expectations and always updated if there was going to be a delay. The constant communication and response time for questions made the entire experience amazing!!! Thank you Jake, Dustin and the entire Dolphin family!!! We are over the moon with our new backyard oasis!! We are still on cloud 9 with our pool! We have thought about moving but our pool keeps us here. Our backyard is the place for the entire neighborhood all spring summer and fall. read more

Good sales pitch and initial design of pool and landscaping. But they were constantly delaying work. So the work took much longer than expected. All of the actual construction work was performed by sub-contractors with almost no direction or control by Dolphin Pools. The sub-contractors were constantly making a mess of the adjacent areas of the house (dirt and mud all over the porches and walkways, etc). The Subs showed up without notice and at times and dates not agreed upon with Dolphin (weekends and HOA quiet times...sometimes at 4:30 AM). The sub-contractors broke the main irrigation pipe line during trench work. The sub-contractors left their lunch trash on my porch. The sub-contractors did work that was not to plan and had to undo and re-do the work. I could go on but you get the idea. I cannot recommend Dolphin Pools. I have never written a review of any company, but I felt compelled to write this one. read more

The salesman, Dustin, did an incredible job turning my vision into the perfect desert oasis. It turned out even better than I could have imagined! Even with some unavoidable delays due to the Covid pandemic and high worker demand, Dolphin staff Kyle and Carla worked hard to coordinate the crews to ensure that our pool was finished in time for our grandkids to enjoy our pool during their visit to Arizona. After the pool was built, Jim Kramer did a great job showing us how to use the equipment and promptly fixed all minor warranty problems. I highly recommend Dolphin Pool Construction. read more

I can't say enough about Drew. He did NOT come across as a salesman at all. Very kind, no pressure, personable & knowledgeable. He thoroughly explained how Dolphin Pools goes the extra mile to make sure their pools are durable, long lasting, dependable and hassle free. We are so excited knowing we will have our own pool to relax & entertain. Hal & Jamie read more

We hired Dolphin Pools after getting quotes from Presidential and Shasta. Dolphin Pools was had both the lowest price, but also was far more in tune with our needs. Once the pool went to construction, things moved quickly and efficiently. We always felt like we were in the know, as they communicated what to expect next very frequently. Special shoutout to Jake Wozniak as he was very professional and very responsive throughout the entire process. read more

We've been working on a quote with Joe Ayers at Dolphin. He's super helpful and always willing to review and make all of changes that we request and answer many questions. Not once has he pressured us but has made himself available for anything we need. He really works with us. Buying a pool is a big decision. Not all pool companies are as patient even though it's a big purchase. It's been a great experience so far working with Dolphin and if we choose Dolphin it would be because of Mr Joe Ayers. read more

My contract with Dolphin was signed 10/2021. I was sold that this company was one of the best and didn't have supply issues like the little companies. Well, my neighbors went with other smaller companies and their pools were done within 4-5 months. I sat waiting for a permit pull for 3 (neighbors 1 month). I then waited for dig - that finally came more than a month after permits. Dolphin sat with a hole in my yard for the last 5 months. After the third month is started to dry out and dirt was falling in. It continues to fall in and at this point it is 6 inches from retaining wall and 2 feet approx from my neighbors wall. Three weeks ago they came (after cancelling 5 times on shotcrete) to pour and I was told it was so unsafe the workers couldn't do their job. They had literally just redone all the rebar. Instead of getting someone out immediate they said next week. No one showed. I got a hold of them to ask why no one came and they told me I was now two weeks out for repair. So at this point, they have come out multiple times to place boards, move dirt, and this will be the third time rebar is being put up. They were supposed to fix the issue and spray today, but again not going to happen. They've now stated they need to redo rebar. Not only that, but the workers leave their bottles and food and trash all over the yard - my dog has zero place to go to the bathroom and it's very unsafe with rusty rebar tossed everywhere. My HOA is upset. My neighbors are sick of seeing this mess and complain. I couldn't be more unhappy at this point and I am tired of them not doing what they agreed. When I have contacted my coordinator in the office (Tania Romero) she does not return any calls and only replies when she is providing a new pushed shotcrete date. My pool was promised to me in June. The only reason I agreed to sign the contract was that they were fully aware I wanted it for the summer and to host my son's grad party Aug 13. It's been a complete cluster with no real sense of urgency. At this point, I am disgusted and frustrated and the only person who apologizes is the foreman who can't manage to make a single deadline to date. read more

Met with Joe Ayers for initial consult. We were very impressed with his presentation and knowledge of the pool industry. He walked through everything step by step. He answered all questions that we had. And he showed us a 3D rendition of what the pool would look like on our property. read more

After researching multiple pool companies, we requested design estimates from three, including Dolphin. Our Design Sales Consultant, Kimble, walked us through all of the options during the design process, educating us on every detail including Hayward pumps and filters, Pebble Sheen and Shimmering Sea finish, glass step trim accents and financing. He visited our house for a consultation within days of reaching out. His responsiveness, design guidance and transparency throughout the process helped make our decision and confirmed Dolphin is the best choice! read more

I had a great consult experience with Tony! He spent a thorough time taking the time to listen to what our ideal pool would look like, go over options & measure out what would be best for our backyard. Other pool companies did not dedicate the time like Dolphin pools did. read more

We had our consultation with Dustin he is very knowledgeable and helped up design our dream backyard, we can't wait for it to come to life.

This review is my honest experience so far with our pool build. We are on month 13 of our build. Communication has not been an issue. If I had any questions or concerns my texts or emails were always addressed. We did have issues with scheduling. We were given dates but a few times they showed up completely unannounced. That however was a minor issue for me as I was just happy work was being done. The longest wait time was for the shotcrete. They did send out emails in regards to how they were handling the delay which I appreciated. But, our pool sat for 5 months which caused the dirt to erode. It is in the contract that we are responsible for extra costs due to issues like that and we were not given a copy of that information and so we simply forgot about it. However, they were supposed to provide us with bids and invoices in regards to the actual cost of the extra repair. We did not get that information. The work was just completed and then a month later we got a bill. No opportunity to get the dirt replaced through other sources for less than what they are trying to charge us. I would have filled it myself if I knew. We are in the process of trying to get the fee waived. I will update this review with the outcome. We knew this was going to be a long process and we are just more concerned with the quality of the work. As long as it's done right we did not feel the need to hound them to get it done. I may have sent one email with timeline concerns throughout the last 13 months. We are in the last phase of our pool build and aside from the additional charge we are paid up todate. Hoping to resolve that issue and have the project completed. Looking forward to swimming this summer! read more

Joe Ayers is the Best!! He walked through the process and my needs of the pool. I used Dolphin Pools to build my first pool.

Joe Ayers was super helpful and so professional. He came out to our home and was prepared to show us what our big backyard has to potential to look like. He made sure we understood everything about the process. Definitely recommend Joe and Dolphin Pools to build your backyard getaway. read more

Several years ago We built a home acting as our own contractor. It was less stressful than working with Dolphin Pool. Dustin in design was fabulous. He listened to what I wanted and made it come to life. Their price is excellent. But be aware. Most portions of the pool are completed by sub contractors. We had issues with them. Constant no call no shows. The sub contractors tore down a gate way for no reason but laziness ( Dolphin did replace the gate and fence but the mess was there for months.). Dolphin seems to have no control over what the sub contractors do so your at their whim. For me this was an extremely stressful process. Despite explaining over and over I work nights and needed to be told if they are not coming NOT once did it happen with out me calling and not once was it before 1 or 2 in the afternoon. So great conception. Great cost. Lengthy and stressful. Have realistic expectations going in. Update. So I had a Warrenty issue with my salt cell. I will say that we had issues but ultimately My pool was fixed and I received a nice call from one of the owners ( a woman). All in all I have a beautiful pool at a decent price. Some headaches but perhaps in todays world you need to realize everything can be a headache but the final product is what is truly important. read more

We could not be happier with our new pool. Joe Warren was my design guy and was literally the only one that gave me exactly what I asked for. Garrett and the rest of the crew kept me updated on progress and the pool was completed in a reasonable amount of time. Of course, there were delays with the times we live in, but they always let me know what was going on. The finished product came out absolutely gorgeous! There were a couple minor items that had to be addressed by the warranty department, but nothing out of the ordinary. They were very responsive and took care of any issues right away. I highly recommend Dolphin if you are considering a pool. We have friends using other companies that began before us and are nowhere near completion. I know we made the right choice! read more

Made an appointment several weeks ago. They never bothered to confirm the appointment other than the original email. I called the morning of to confirm. They said oh yeah he's on his way he will be early. He didn't show up, didn't call me, nothing. Then he emails me the next day blaming his assistant. Someone had recommended this company and even though it had terrible reviews I wanted to give them the opportunity to earn my project business due to that referral. Sadly you don't get a second chance to make a first impression. Do you research. This company has multiple complaints with the ROC and multiple complaints with the BBB. read more

To be fair - our pool is gorgeous. Our designer was Dustin, and he did a great job at creating a backyard that looked amazing. We had the normal ups and downs during the building process (including an unfortunate hard dig) and the only part we really had to be there for was the shotcrete. All in all, very happy with the pool itself. It was what came after the pool building that took 2 stars off. So, once your pool is finished and filled, and you've done your "orientation" they will be terrible at communication with you. They left a terrible mess behind in our backyard. Bushes that were dug up didn't get hauled away, gates (from a dog run) got upheaved and just left to the side, and our paver stones from our previous decking that were supposed to be bordering the new pool deck just got left there (picture some bricks haphazardly thrown around the pool deck). I tried numerous times to get in touch with Dave, the foreman from the project, with no answer and the lady who was our point of contact informed me rather rudely, that "it wasn't in our contract" and then stopped communicating with me when I asked to speak with someone in charge. The only reason that my backyard and landscaping got finished was because of Chris from their artificial turf company - he was nice enough to help me out by taking care of what Dolphin destroyed. read more

When you spend upto 100k dollars on a pool system you expect the best customer service and warranty. Dolphin pools failed miserably. They should know better that pool equipment is outdoor and open to elements which can led to damage, they did not put the best people and material and it failed. On calling them they refused to fix under warranty. This is not what I paid for and expected from their customer service and warranty. Will never recommend. If this is what you get for high end pools, less costly ones don't stand a chance. read more

We can't speak for the negative reviews because I find them very hard to believe. We interviewed and received quotes from 4 different pool contractors in Phoenix and by far this company was the easiest to work with, with the least amount of "car salesmanship", the best price and the most open communication. Our pool was completed at the beginning of July and we've enjoyed it ever since. The temperature now is a bit cool but the kids still love it. I'm sure there are multiple salesman at the company and money does play an important part of completing a project of this size. Our salesman was truly professional and we knew the price and the timelines going into the project. I suggest if you plan on completing a project like this in your house - do your homework and don't fall for the salesman tactics and be wise to what you will actually utilize when swimming 3-4 mos of the year in AZ. We highly recommend Dolphin Pools. read more

I'm currently shopping around to get some ideas for our future pool. We're not yet ready to start the process so when I went into Dolphin the other day I wasn't expecting much since we're not ready to put money down yet. She was very attentive and didn't make me feel like I was wasting her time like other places I've visited. We're definitely going to keep Dolphin in mind when we're ready! read more

I'm very disappointed in this company. It has been 16 months since signing our contract and the pool is still not done. We've had a hole dug in our backyard for a year. It took them so long to pour the concrete, that the dirt started eroding and then wanted us to pay for the extra concrete needed to fiX it. Our pool was supposed to be finished June 2022!! It is still not finished. They rescheduled 3x to pour the concrete and completed the neighbors pool before ours even though we were 4-6 months a head of them. Their pool is finished but not ours. Seriously, have you heard of service recovery... it's the least you could do for the inconvenience you have created for us over the last year. read more

The customer service at Dolphin Pools is absolutely abysmal. Never have I experienced such defensive and unhelpful people in my life. Every subcontractor caused damage to our property - broke our concrete, broke our sewage line, and left the gate open so our dogs could get out. There is not one point of contact to answer questions. Instead, customers are asked to track their staff down to coordinate the project. When feedback was shared that we were unhappy, every excuse in the book was thrown out as to why they can't be held accountable to not following through on their brand promise. If you are looking for an easy company to do business with, I definitely recommend looking elsewhere. This is not been a good experience at all! 1/10 do not recommend. read more

Would recommend. Good pool designs and good prices compared to the other bids we received.

Stay away from these guys. Very unresponsive extremely slow, damaged my neighbors property, removed the stoop from my garage door without replacing it so they could have access to the backyard. Commanded 100% payment before completion therefore making it difficult to bargain to a spot that was agreeable buy all. Very very very poor moral fiber!
