This is the fourth pool that we had built. We interviewed other local companies and were not at all satisfied. From the initial sales/design experience with Pete Cierski to the end, as Taylor Farms is filling our pool with water right now, each Blue Haven person or subcontractor has been extraordinary. This is a very professional organization who take their pool construction seriously. What a joy to work with Nate Krolikowski, Tom Roan, Erica Opatz, Jamie McDowell, Cheyenne Rincon, and Vicki Frye! They coordinated everything with over-the-top almost daily communication: emails, texts, phone calls, and visits! There was never a question or concern unanswered. Walter Santana's paving/tiling/coping installation was precise, exact and fabulous. He looked at the ground once and corrected a drainage problem. Throughout this process, every aspect of this construction has been outlined, described, scheduled and completed on time. We are just flabbergasted by the level of coordinated effort. All work has been supervised with returning observation - sometimes daily. Our pool is beautiful. Communication became difficult, timelines were not respected, and we were charged additional fees for multiple items that should have been addressed upfront. One situation that was especially disappointing occurred during the concrete phase. A contractor attempted to change the agreed-upon plan because it would have been easier for them, while also requesting additional charges. Not realizing my husband was the homeowner, the contractor stated, "These people have money, we should just charge them more." My husband then informed him that he was in fact the owner. We brought this concern to Nathan and Carrie, but their response did not seem surprised or concerned, which made us feel this type of situation may not be uncommon. We were originally promised the pool would be completed by October, yet the project was not finished until April. There were long periods where little to no progress was made, and crews rarely showed up consistently. Overall, this experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this company.

Now, just a few years later, I've been told they no longer sell or service the units. I wasn't expecting it to still be under warranty, but I didn't expect to be completely abandoned either--NO ONE, not even Blue Haven, is willing to service it or even come take a look. The light fell out the first year, there are stains on the plaster, and they took zero responsibility for any of it. My pool has been and continues to be professionally serviced, so this isn't a case of neglect. And when I reach out to other pool companies for help, they won't even touch the system--several have gone out of their way to warn me about Blue Haven's poor reputation, which I now understand all too well. Unfortunately, putting in a pool with Blue Haven might mean enjoying it for one swim--then dealing with years of problems, frustration, and no support. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them. I'm genuinely worried what else might go wrong.I wish a negative star was allowed.

We've had two independent pool companies inspect it this year, and both commented on the poor quality of the workmanship. They were genuinely surprised by how badly the plaster was done. I believe the Calvitti family has very little to do with the operation...it's fairly obvious they don't concern themselves with poor customer service or end product. We put a deposit down in August 2024 and the project is still incomplete. Insanely poor communication and expectation management. The original quote was over $60k with no clear explanation of what all was NOT included. Ended up being closer to 100k (some of which were upgrades we chose and understood) but lots of things, for example, filling in of trenches dug by the plumbing subcontractor...was not originally included or even mentioned (and cost an additional $1k). The planning phase was terrible we were prepared for our local township permitting and Blue Haven disregarded our input. They told us that things had been submitted, and when checking with our Borough Management, they had no knowledge of said permitting documents. The crux of it is that they hire out subpar subcontractors for everything. The sub they recommended for the patio work was to come back after auto cover installation - it has now been 2 months after the installation and they've still not returned to finish. The plaster company put down what I'm pretty sure is the wrong color plaster and it's extremely uneven despite following their instructions to the letter with brushing, chemicals, etc. Save yourself time, money, and lots of uneccessary stress for something that is supposed to ironically provide relaxation. Choose someone else. Anyone else.

The plaster specialists said they could help, but we had to pay upfront because they wouldn't put anything on Ryan's account at Waterline Aquatics. We discussed the issue with Ryan, and he promised to rectify it if we covered the $6,000 repair. Since then, Ryan has been unresponsive. In December 2025, I texted him, and he replied, "I will call you tomorrow." It's now April 2026, almost pool opening time, and still no contact from Ryan. We are now seeking a new company to assist with opening and maintaining our pool.

Then they said they could reschedule for the following week but I would have to pay for the closing in advance.
