It occurred to me that I needed to pick up some items here. I checked out this store. I normally don't go to a Dollarama at a mall. Chances are that it will be more crowded than going to a standalone store. I was right. This store is by mall entrance 9. You take the elevator down to the store. There's also an elevator if you need one. This store was pretty busy. I liked what it had to offer. Pepsi products greeted me. I liked the Mickey Mouse set with a whisk, towel, and spatula. It was cheerful and cute. The ice cube trays were cool. I liked the larger cube moulds. They were bright and had silicone at the bottom of each cube, allowing you to easily pop cubes out for your refreshments. The snacks and drinks aisles were impressive. I liked the variety. The chip selection was excellent. I came here for pasta sauce and macaroni. I found everything that I needed. I headed to the cashout area. There was one human cashier. There were roughly eight self-checkout kiosks there. I used the latter. It's hit or miss using one at Dollarama. Sometimes, it's smooth sailing. Other times, it seems to want to give me a hard time. Luckily, I was able to scan my two items and pay without any issues. I didn't buy a lot. I had parked a good distance away from this store, so carrying them wasn't an issue. If I had made a larger purchase, I wouldn't have been as happy lugging everything that far away. It's a good store. It's convenient if you are at the mall and need something. I still like hitting standalone Dollarama stores that aren't as crowded as this one. (47)

Every wall and aisle is loaded with products and Dollarama is no longer what it used to be....that is things for a dollar. Shelves are truly completely filled all the time, and I find this is one of those Dollaramas that you always find what you're looking for. I honestly wish I could rate it 5 stars, but unfortunately, I can only give 3- the cashiers at this location are EXTREMELY slow, and I've noticed that they are not well-trained in general with the registers. It's very annoying because there have been time where I've waited 20+ minutes in line waiting to have my products cashed out. When I have my 15 minute break at work, I barely have any time usually to grab a quick snack at Dollarama. This is all because of these cashiers! Even when every cash aisles are open, there are still very long lines. So, my advice- If you have time to kill and you don't mind waiting in lines every once in a while, this Dollarama will usually always have what you're looking for, which is great!

The early holiday hours are great! I had to purchase some gift bags, Kraft marshmallows, Word Search puzzles for stocking stuffers, BPA free Ziploc bags, and was surprised to see biodegradable straws, plates, and cutlery. I like Dollarama when it comes to getting candy, canned goods, and spices. The items are of good quality and the price is right. Items are no longer a dollar. You see the price vary depending on the item that you're getting. You can get sandwich bags with the zipper seal for $1.25. A roll of aluminum foil will cost you $3. Prices are still decent. I've heard that the most expensive item these days will set you back $5. I have yet to buy anything for that price. I bought something for my plant a while back that was $4.25. I like getting tissue paper for gift bags and the gift bags themselves. They are cheap and of decent quality. The snacks are also amazing. I am seeing more sugar-free options these days, but they are still outnumbered by chocolate bars and hard candy that are highly sugary. I have bought lightbulbs from Dollarama in the past. It didn't set my house on fire. One of them recently died. It was an LED. I can't recall how long I have been using it. It was definitely for a few years. Last Saturday, I was hoping to drop by this store and shop. It's not worth attempting a visit on weekends. This store is next to the Mandarin, where families like to gather and enjoy the buffet. All parking spots in this vicinity were taken up. It likely explains why I don't shop here as often than I used to. There's a Dollar Tree a couple of minutes away that never has an issue with parking. I tend to like the variety of products that it offers, including bagel seasoning and sugar-free beverages. This is probably the least known one as it's tucked in a corner inside Box Grove Plaza, but this is probably by favourite of the four. Everything about this particular store is organized, and I find this store carries a lot more of the $3 items that are actually worth that much (e.g: huge collections of shampoo and body/hand wash). The cashiers here are also efficient and actually smile and greet at you, despite them being paid the amount they are paid. This store gets somewhat busy around 5-6pm as business workers do come in to buy some last-minute items, which makes sense as it is located in an almost purely residential area.
