From rugs to water guns, mirrors to Mars bars, you never know what you're going to find. On my most recent visit we found a North face t- shirt for $8 & Eddie Bauer lounge pants for $12. Lots of snack food, breakfast foods and drinks at discount prices. If you go in hoping to get something in particular, I'm afraid you will likely be disappointed. If on the other hand you're just looking for bargains, this place is hard to beat. Keep your wits about you and you'll do well here - just be sure to check the expiry dates as some items are closer to expiry than others.

Also, I usually shop later in the day so I like that they close late at 10pm on most days. I like taking a peek inside before taking the bus/skytrain on the way home. It's a smaller store so the selection isn't as vast as other bigger dollaramas. Usually I find at least one cool item but I didn't find anything interesting so i left empty handed on this visit. The thing i learned from shopping at dollarama is that if you find something cool, just get it because chances are it won't be there anymore or you would have to return to the same location to find it again because other locations are sold out of the cool item. The items they have pretty much are the usual items you'd find at any other dollarama. They have a whole aisle dedicated to christm2as even though halloween hasn't happened yet which i found kinda funny. A few months ago, they only had one or two staff at the checkout area with no self serve machines. One big change recently is they put in at least 4 self-serve checkout machines. The checkout lines are much faster because of this. My friend used the self serve kiosk and it looked really simple to use, which is great. I like that it talks through every step as well. Overall, the self serve checkouts are a welcome addition but i'd recommend going to a bigger dollarama for better item selection if you're actually looking for dollar store stuff. I'm in the metrotown area a lot so I'll definitely come back once in a while and see if they have something cool or useful (but cheap!) to buy. 3 stars.

I find the finer quality jackets a bit higher on the price, but if you are a serious outdoorsy person, this place is good for that investment. The staff is polite and friendly. Being an outlet, there is little advice, so you should know what you're getting into before buying. All in all, good value. And if you lucky enough to live nearby, come frequently, as each month they bring in new stock (well, technically old products that couldn't sell anymore at the retail stores, but I won't tell if you won't tell.)

I personally think this location is better than the one at Aberdeen because they've gone through tons of renovations and the vibe is different. Profits go towards a good cause so that's definitely a bonus compared to other for-profit thrift stores. There's also a free membership program where people can collect and redeem points. I've gotten brand name clothes for a few bucks here and brand name nice bags for $20-30. There's everything from clothes snd accessories, to household products and furniture. There are also gaming systems, instruments, books, baby items, beauty products and much more. They run rotating 50%+ off sales every day on different types of items Sometimes it'll be clothes, sometimes it's kitchen products, sometimes it's arts and craft items. They post the daily sales on their Instagram page so it's super convenient to look up what's on sale before going. I've also made a bunch of donations to the store - just drop off stuff in the bins behind the building during their collection hours.
