However, after considerable research, including encountering, for example, exorbitant "cleaning fees" and other unfriendly contract terms at other stores, my search confirmed what I had really known all along: Dragon & Phoenix is a warm and friendly place full of warm and friendly people - people who want your side of the consignment relationship to be as rewarding as theirs. This store is a class act and a Kerrisdale gem.

The store is big enough to have a nice selection, but not so big that you feel overwhelmed. The aisles were all clean and everything was well organized. The store seemed dead since I went near closing time, but I hope they get more traffic. There are some very good finds to be had if you take a look around. This is a bit far from home for me but I'll be back when I'm in the area. They only lose a star for having some confusing pricing (I had to ask twice for clarification on what things cost). I'm sure this will be sorted out soon enough, as the store was brand new.

I purchased a puffer jacket that I really loved in November or December 2024. Shortly after buying…read moreit, I began noticing a few feathers on my clothing. At first, it seemed minor and I assumed it was normal wear. However, by November 2025, I had to replace the jacket because the zipper failed completely and would no longer zip up. I repurchased the same style because I genuinely liked the jacket. Unfortunately, on just the third wear, I started seeing an excessive amount of feathers all over my clothing. Since then, the feather loss has only gotten worse. To make matters more frustrating, the zipper on this replacement jacket has also failed. Both jackets were purchased intentionally with room to layer underneath, so fit was not an issue. At this point, the jacket is essentially unwearable due to severe down leakage and repeated zipper failure. It's disappointing, but I can now understand why this particular jacket is frequently on sale -- the quality simply isn't there.

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service…read more Purchased a coat 3 weeks ago (to the day), had lost the receipt but gave them my information when purchased so figured it wouldn't be an issue. When I visited the store today to make the return, I was told I was WELL over the return date (which was 14 days) and that they could not find me in the system. So the item I had the tags on, and was clearly from the store, I could not only not return, but they would also not offer me some type of store credit. I find it funny that although between my mother and myself, we've purchased multiple items, that we wouldn't be in the system at all. Not whatsoever. I was treated like I was trying to steal from them, and a child. They looked down on me and hid behind their "policies". Having worked in retail for 5+ years (both small business and corporate) I understand policies are put into place for a reason, but do not agree with the way I was treated and it is extremely clear they do not care about their customers. They've not only lost me as a customer but my sisters, mother, and others I will share this story with in the future. Bye forever Bella + Wren. I won't miss you.

It's one of those shops I'm glad isn't close to my house or I'd be over there wayyy too often adding various colorful furniture, knick-knacks, and bric-a-brac to my stale beige apartment. The shop features two rooms devoted to all things imports. The first room is mainly small items, from jewelry and candles to clothing and other decor items. If you're looking for a gift for that hard-to-shop-for friend, this is the place. The second room is full of seriously gorgeous furniture and larger household decor items. Dressers, chairs, beds, dining sets, tapestries, lamps, rugs...it's all in here and it's all just begging you to dig out the ol' credit card and re-dec your place to look like you just returned from a six month excursion through Southeast Asia. The staff are super helpful, too. I was looking for a wall tapestry for my daughter (who is trying desperately to add a boho vibe to her bedroom). The store employee showed me the different sized tapestries and helped me pick one that most suited my kid's vibe. She said if my daughter didn't like it I was welcome to come back and exchange it for a different one. (Luckily, she liked it!)
