I was searching for some vintage items and ended up here. Although they may have some vintage, the majority of it was not. However, the items were mostly of high-quality, and quite varied. I found the prices are above average for this type of store but the quality is mostly above average as well. The staff was lovely and kind, and they greeted several regulars while I was there. The store is well laid out, with ample room for moving around and viewing. I lucked out at a 75% off sale and found more items than I usually do while thrifting. I will definitely be back. read more

This shop is a true neighbourhood gem! The staff is a team of warm and friendly females of varying ages who are positive, professional and helpful. There are great finds in the store of different kinds of clothing (i.e. athletic, casual, formal, swimwear, intimates) that are of quality brands and quality. It has become my one-stop shop for updating my wardrobe! The owner and her team also do annual collections for women's shelter. The staff is truly dedicated to the community in multiple ways. This place is fantastic! My mom's been shopping here for over 7 years and we both step in often. Always walk out with great (and urban/trendy) clothes...it's hard not to with such well-selected quality merchandise at a fraction of the retail price. And they have amazing sales, which I always keep an eye out for. When they have a sale they aren't kidding - but you've got to be quick 'cause stuff goes fast! The staff is great. They're consistently friendly and always helpful. They are more than happy to take you around the store to help you find what you're looking for. As well, as soon as I have a few items in hand, I am set up with a fitting room. Whenever I've needed genuine advice on something, they will give it to me straight - they won't try to sell you on something that looks awful..their honestly is greatly appreciated. Had never shopped consignment until someone recommended that I really needed to check out a Phoenix and Dragon as they were certain I'd be sold on the store. I have been shopping here for a few years now and, gotta say, it's the best consignment store in town. The sales people are honest and genuine, it is a homey kind of store (you feel welcomed and not pressured) and the selection is outstanding - thoughtfully organized, easy to find sizing/colours, and good quality merchandise with fair pricing. If it's your first time and you don't find anything, give it another chance because product selection changes and moves often. So, although to begin with, consignment wasn't for me, now I have a hard time shopping elsewhere as it seems like a big waste of money. read more

I love going to consignment stores in Vancouver, until a friend of mine introduced Dragon and Phoenix. From then on this store has been my favorite. I have compared their prices from Turnabout Luxury Retails and D&P is way way cheaper. Plus Staff are super friendly and warm. They make sure you got all the best service while you're shopping and browsing. (They offer cucumber water and iced tea or plain water). I had been shopping with them since 2018. most of my clothes and shoes are from them and I have a lot of compliments from friends and colleages when I wear them. This is another great consignment store. They have a mix of high end and mid range clothes. Service is inconsistent, sometimes great and other times your arm is falling off because nobody offered to grab your clothes from you. The deals can be great, if you go at the right time (Jan-feb or July-august) for the best deals. Like all consignment stores you need to dig. read more

Saw the sale sign, thought I would give consignment store a try. As there's not much to do in the neighbourhood while waiting for my boyfriend to finish his grocery shopping. Place looks decent, crapped full of clothes and some housewares. Strolled around and found this lovely dress. The price was slightly cheaper than retail, oh well what can go wrong. I was in a rush need a change for the boyfriend's anyway. I didn't care to inspect the garment before paying. We came home, I eagerly went to the bathroom to show my boyfriend my new score. That's when I found a bed bug crawling on the garment. I guess lesson learnt, never shop consignment! read more

Lots of designer clothes and mid-range brands. Prices range from $20 - $150 ish. Everything is in good condition, even the shoes. Generally the nicer stuff is in the smaller size range, so keep that in mind if you're a medium-large. read more

I honestly do not look at other places because I know I won't find as good of consignment and the price point is always the best and reasonable. You can find the highest of designer or even moderate mall brands. They staff does a good job at going through the items and only taking quality and like-new things. They have a wide range of sizes and style for any occasion. The place is organized by color, size, casual and designer wear so it's easy to find things. I scored a pair of Fidelity jeans for $30 which retails over $200. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Lots of designer clothes in very awesome condition at half off. I fell in love with their dress pants, however, each designer's size 11 is different than the other's, therefore, I couldn't take anything home. This has been my GO TO place for top-end consignment clothes, boots, coats, shoes, purses and even jewelry for the past 10 years and every season is a winner! What I appreciate so much is the high quality, cleanliness and reasonable prices for top-notch stuff. I can see why they've been going strong for 35 years! Excellent variety. Almost too much though. Some of the brand authenticity is questionable. But they are genuinely a consignment store. Not seconds from overseas companies offloading their knock offs. I love like the sales approach because they aren't pushy and in your face but will give you an honest answer if you ask. Don't try keeping them open a minute past closing time though. I have shopped at this boutique for over twenty years! I find the staff friendly, caring, and helpful. They connect with customers personally and are very available for an honest comment on how an item looks, or whether it is a flattering or necessary purchase. What I like about this store is that your free to browse and there is no pressure. I find the items I have found here I treasure, often getting very current styles for much, much less than retail. I am drawn to this store because it is like walking into a market of many stores, it is as if their customers who consign bring back treasures from their travels and so there is so much selection than retail. As Megan says, "regular people with decent clothing to consign"....take your items somewhere else! You're wasting your time at this place. WOW, WOW, AND WOW! I had the best customer experience I ever had there. I went here at the urging of my mom and a friend who shop here. I had trouble entering the store, however. I was using my knee scooter and could not go up the ramp and push open the heavy door. I knocked and a customer let me in. I emailed the store later and explained how inaccessible the store is, no doorbell, no phone number on door, no way for disabled people to get in. I suggested a doorbell so staff could open the door for disabled people, or a sign with a phone number. THE OWNER INSTALLED BOTH WITHIN A FEW DAYS AND EMAILED ME TO LET ME KNOW! I've been 10x's and never been asked if I needed help. The staff are usually in the back of the store gossipping. The only time I ever saw any customer interaction is when one of sales ladies yelled at a customer for touching a dress on a mannequin and then proceeded to lecture the customer. Horrible customer service. The first time I went in here, the sales people were too busy gossiping with their 40 something cougar friend who managed to 'score a date with a doctor' instead of saying hello to their customers and offering to start them a fitting room when they have an armful of clothes. I usually put the clothes I try on back on the hanger but was so put off that I left them unhung on the seat in the fitting room. I had to listen to all the gossiping while trying on clothes and interrupt them when I was ready to pay for my clothes. To add insult to the injury, one of the older salespersons told me I had to go put my clothes back on the hangers. Are you serious?! Needless to say I won't be coming there again. I can say that hands down half of my wardrobe is from D&P ( I shop there so often I have abbreviated the name). The staff is well informed and super helpful. I must give a shout out to Rita who works there and is the best baker in the city and shares her treats with customers regularly! Today I purchased AG Cargo pants for $60 and they were new! The service here leaves a lot to be desired. I've been shopping here for years and each time I wonder why I come back. The deals are good, but the people who work here are often unhelpful, snooty, and often too busy chatting about their own lives to offer a helping hand.
