9am at Black Friday sale Saturday. Very quiet

I like the outlet mall simply but also makes me disappointed somehow. I do online shopping often but when I need to make sure the material or fit on the clothing, I would come to this outlet mall and physically check before I order it online. I stopped some stores and I noticed this place is collection of left over of left over. It's so sad after I checked the stores' online page. I didn't spend any money and left in one hour.

I love this outdoor outlet mall. The stores are high end. They have great deals during the holidays, 40-70%. I love the layout. It's easy to walk thru and remember the store locations. Even in winter its nice to stroll around, its safe, and environment clean. There are coffee shops, familiar names such as Cafe A'rtigiano and Starbucks. Several fast food such as Japadog and A&W Burgers are available. It's nice to stroll around the place during the summer as well. There's a huge free parking lot. This is right beside the airport and hard to miss.

This outlet mall near the Vancouver Airport has a variety of designer brands, along with a large selection of food. It has large surface parking. It is divided into 3 large town squares, all connected. It reminds me a bit shopping in a small town's center. Each square has some sort of monument or point of emphasis. The variety of stores are solid, with Cole Haan and Boss being two brands that I was interested in. The sales were decent. And in one section, there a variety of casual non-chain restaurants, serving American (burgers and hot dogs), Mexican, Pizza, Chinese, and Japanese. We really enjoyed our 3+ hour stay here. They do have free wi-fi but it seemed to be broken...couldn't connect anytime during the 3 hours.

We stopped here by mistake. We don't have a destination. Just driving around downtown then we took a wrong turn and end up here instead of driving straight to the airport. Since we are here already, I went to 2 stores to check out their deals. One store does have a clearance rack but I find it pricey still. I looked around but none caught my eye. The same with the other store. Nice place to come and enjoy browsing the stores while getting your steps. Plenty of parking spaces. Good eating places on site. Benches to rest.

From June 7 to September 3, there were 2 free Richmond Discovery Shuttle roaming around from Brigport Sky Train Station and from Lansdowne Sky Train Station to this outlet. Absolutely convenient! It also drove you around the residential areas and Steveston old Seafood town on the way. Quite a ride! Right now there were 70% discounts on most of the popular brands - Kate Spade, Nike, Aritzia, Armani, Asics, Diesels, Jimmy Choo, Puma, Under Armour, Versace, Karl Lagerfeld etc. if you are tired, A&W and Chinese foods were available too.

I have been to this outlet mall a few times. You can find many well known brands here. Mostly brands for fashion clothing, sports and shoes, etc. It would be better if there are shops for designer products for consumer electronics stuffs. Also not sufficient restaurants and seats. Access to washrooms is not very convenient as you have to walk a long way if you are far from the restaurant area.

These outlets confuse me quite frankly. The stingy craftsmanship of the structure itself, to the awkward location, to the lacklustre attempt at sales and the biggest issue.. why Vancouver thought it needed to contribute to fast fashion waste even further. Most of these retailers produce items specifically for their factor store or "outlet". These clothes have never touched the shelves at their regular retail locations. This means that the quality is exceptionally low. At Banada Republic you won't find silk blouses or wool sweaters, you'll find acrylic, poorly made things with fake price tags and a 50% off sticker. The racks look like a dollar store set-up, they don't even try. On the opposite spectrum of this, you'll find stores like Aritzia where the clothes are the same at the outlet as they are in usual stores but the sales are minuscule. You'll see a lot of the classic Aritzia 2-dollar-off sales, "was $190.99 now only $188.99". This is no where near their once a year warehouse sale and pretty much the same crappy discounts you can get in any location. Most of their items are not even on sale which seems to defeat the point of traveling this far. It does get worse, Sunglass Hut will look at you like a monster for asking what the discount is on their staples. A sharp "nothing" is the discount. You'll see a lot of stores you've never heard of. Small shelf-companies selling off old merchandise bought in bulk from other stores closing. Even this, the consumer isn't saving a lot. For instance, at Think Kitchen, a box of four Ridel wine glasses are $44.00 yet the same crystal, made in Germany glasses can be consistently found at Winners or Home Sense for $28.00. Washrooms are inexcusably filthy with urine splashed on ever seat. There are no maps, no "you are here" signs and no one at the info desk. The wifi is terrible. One star for free parking

A big outlet mall near the Vancouver international airport, parking is huge and free.. Very clean and the design of the building stores are modern.aside from huge selections of name brands there are a lot of restaurants too. Unique and beautiful structures can be found inside which is an advantage for a person like me who loves selfie so much. People also visits to watch airplane passing which is a very nice experience specially with the kids, In the center of the mall there is this nice water fountain that changes colors very beautiful at night, children loves it so much. Outlet is easy access by skytrain i never tried but i see it. Branded items...tons of them if you just have the patience then i gezz you will find good deals..some of the prices are expensive aswell bit still cheaper compared to the regular mall around. Most of the crew are very friendly...neatplace to shop .Wifi is free and available in most of the stores.public washrooms are like hotels immaculately clean and well lighted and decorated. Loving this place...i frequent come here....japadogs oh yah!!

This outlet is full of high end shops a few casual retailers. Everything has an outdoor entrance. Everything is clean and easy to find. Located close to the Vancouver airport, it's easy to get to while flying or driving to/from the city. Had a really great experience shopping here at over a dozen stores. Prices were fantastic.

CF Richmond Centre feels like a teenager who hit a growth spurt too early and never quite figured…read moreout what to do afterwards.  Sure, it's got the Apple Store gleaming aspirational techheads, a handful of designer storefronts trying their best to look worldly, and a food court upstairs that--on paper--should be a damn good reason to linger. It's polished, modern, almost smug in its stainless-steel confidence. And yet... you walk through on what should be a busy day, and the silence hangs around your ankles like fog at dawn.  There's an emptiness here, a kind of mall ennui, as if the place is waiting for someone--anyone--to decide what it's supposed to be when it grows up.  Are you going to be high fashion and chic or will you be another bargain mall? Meanwhile, just across the way, McArthurGlen is sucking up all the oxygen like the loud, flashy cousin who shows up at the family reunion with new teeth, discount luxury, and a better Instagram account.  That's the place people actually go--destination shopping, outlet energy, crowds spilling out of every corridor. CF Richmond? It becomes the afterthought, the "well, we're already in the area so maybe we'll swing by" mall. The mall equivalent of a consolation prize - maybe the pageant winner will retire and CF-R can have a chance to reign like a real mall... Maybe not. And then there's the parking - OMG!  Years of construction, half-blocked entrances, the slow-motion nightmare of circling levels like a frustrated shark just hoping for a space to open up - that isn't blocked off!  A mall can survive a lot, but it can't survive making people miserable before they've even stepped inside. With The Bay packing up and leaving, the mall loses not just a store but an anchor - literally the ballast that keeps a mall from drifting into irrelevance. They need a heavyweight, something bold, something that makes you say, yeah, okay, I'll deal with the traffic for that. And they need it fast. CF Richmond isn't bad. It's just adrift. A mall with good bones, some shiny pieces, but no heartbeat.  A place that could be great but is stuck in the purgatory between intention and execution. If it wants to matter again, it'll need more than a facelift - it needs to grow up and choose what it wants to be.  Right now, it's just waiting for someone to save the mall. 2.5 stars - take it or leave it.  The Apple Store isn't enough for me to trek there! Meh...

You MUST validate your parking at Sungiven Foods for 2-hour free parking, all other stores only validate for 1.5 hours - and I learned this the hard way. It was my first time driving to City Square, and I saw the sign in the parkade that read "Enjoy 2 hours free parking with purchase". I went to Dollarama first, and had my ticket validated there. I shopped around, and Sungiven Foods was one of my last stops before returning to my car. As I was driving out of the parkade, I was surprised that there was an overdue balance of $4.25 at the gate, even though I was in City Square for less than 2 hours (I had a timer on my phone). I called parking assistance and they sent Chandani to deal with the issue. She did not want to listen to my situation and was very rude and unhelpful. She kept insisting I pay for the ticket or go back upstairs to revalidate, and then walked away. I understand she may not have any authority to authorize anything or override the ticket, but she did not bother to listen or try to get help. I checked my timer, and saw that I was cutting it very close to 2 hours, so if I had re-parked my car and went back upstairs to revalidate, I would definitely go over the 2-hour limit. I paid the ticket and checked the website when I got home, and I understand that the City Square regulations states: -90 minutes FREE parking with a minimum $5.00 purchase from City Square retailers. -One retailer stamp per parking ticket allowed. Please bring your parking ticket along with you to the retailer for validation. I am upset because there was no indication (either on the website on signage posted in the mall or parkade) that the retailer stamp HAD to be from Sungiven Foods specifically (and be validated there first) in order to qualify for 2-hour free parking (instead of 90 min). Chandani also gave me the wrong information, and I would not have been able to re-validate at Sungiven foods anyways if I went back upstairs, as only one retailer stamp per parking ticket is allowed (as per the website). I did email the admin at City Square as well with my concerns over the signage, and asked for a possible refund. Chasity from Reception & Administration directed me to Precise Parklink in regards to the ticket refund. I didn't bother contacting Precise Parklink because on paper, I did exceed the 1.5 hour parking limit, but the reason for this is because of the misleading and unclear signage in my opinion.
