One a longer than floor length high waisted pleated a-line style skirt and a jersey style comfortable skirt with a high slit in the front. These two pieces were on sale and an absolutely steal! So classy and elegant. This store is awesome and filled to the brim with unique pieces made for a lady with an adventurous soul! So pleased I stopped in!!

Upon entering, I was amazed at the talent of the local designers' work. There are some beautifully tailored pieces made with high quality material/fabrics throughout the shop. I can't really afford much of the clothing right now because I am a student. However, I will be coming back again and again because of the jewelry. I am in love with the vintage reworks by the various local designers. Lots of the jewelry are one-of-a-kind and handmade. I bought 2 necklaces: one for $32 (on sale, regular $40), and one for $38. I'd say these prices are fair. The owner is awesome. She's extremely knowledgeable, talkative and friendly with everyone that comes in. She isn't pushy and you can tell that local fashion is her passion. If you are unable to attend the city's local craft markets, then this is the place to be! I plan on taking a peak at Little Dream on Granville Island very soon! I have a feeling Dream is just a taste of the one-of-a-kind stuff. There must be more at the other location!

There seems to be an emphasis on unique and flattering cuts that have a timeless edge -- like the ruched skirt, black blazer and die-cut oxfords I came away with the last time I went here. One of the things that often frustrates me with clothing shopping is the lack of really good service. I've experienced pushy salespeople who follow me around, and snobby salespeople who completely ignore me, but rarely do I encounter intellioent salespeople like the ones at Charlie and Lee. The girls who work here actually ask me what I'm looking for, choose pieces for me to try on, and then give their HONEST opinion when I step out of the changeroom. What a relief!

From what I read you can set up a Net 30 day credit account, but I just paid cash so not sure the specifics on that, but I'd assume for that a licence and or application would be required. So the store space is fairly large. It's very clean, spread out and well merchandised.a There is pretty much everything you could need ! And what a variety to choose from including: Hangers, tissue paper, bags, carts, baskets, Covid safely supplies, fixtures and more fixtures ! Boxes - all sorts! The prices are for handmade, so they may be higher than you're going to find elsewhere, but you can also wait for "Nifty for Fifty" which is a sale that the owner hosts every spring. It features lots of independent designers, including Adhesif, and everything is under $50. The only downside to this store is that it's very specific. I am thrilled with every 'Adhesif' piece I own! I find that I rarely leave the house without at least one 'Adhesif' item.
