So many teenagers flocked this place yelling and giggling very loudly while in the store with their friends. The store is full wall to wall with inventory. I walked over to the kettlebells and the only size they had was 10 lb. They had a bunch of dumbbells. I got the resistance band. I noticed a rug that I liked, but it was too high to reach it. As I stood there admiring the item, another lady inched up beside me waiting for me to move and got closer and closer as if she didn't even know what personal space means. No staff member in sight. I ended up realizing the rug wasn't even worth locating an employee for. As I tried to leave the area, I was blocked in by the same lady and another older one. I managed to ditch the basket and wiggled my way passed these two ladies. Spent some time searching high and low for a back scratcher. I found a scalp scratcher, but nothing for the back. I spotted a graphic T-shirt that I liked that read, "immediately no" (as it's one of my favorite sayings). I went to search for it in the most cluttered and unorganized rack of clothing. It was displayed above, but I didn't find it. Instead I found multiple of 90s inspired shirts featuring Aaliyah, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, and other sarcastic saying shirts. Another disappointment. At this point, I went to check at. In the checkout line, more customers blocked the entry to pay. Gosh, this really can't get any worse can it? Oh, it can, the checkout lines are self service. I accidentally said that I could pay with my card, but had forgotten that I locked it. Another thing I noticed was that the kiosks are so close together to the next person that if you're not paying attention you can easily have your card numbers stolen from you. Again, this store has NO space to do anything! The balance of the resistance band was $7. I remembered I had cash. I asked the older cashier if this kiosk takes cash. She said no and told me to wait as she helped the older lady ring up her items. Then this other chick rolls up to cancel the order out and redirects me to another machine. I asked this younger cashier, "do y'all sell bsckstratchers?", she said no. As I get to the checkout kiosk, the area was again cluttered with people and their unruly kid. As I paid for the item with cash, a hillbilly kid takes my money from the kiosk and refused to give it back. Her mom watched on and thankfully reprimanded the rugrat. Awful experience. I would have thought this location would have been much better since it's so close to the Woodlands, but nope it was so ghetto. Plus, they didn't have much of anything I was looking for.

We…read morepurchased our third set of King Sized 550tc sheets as we were very pleased with the quality of the two we previously bought at the 39.99 price point. It was a bit of an ordeal to even make the purchase because the fire alarms started blaring when I approached the register, I had my 10 month old child with me so we evacuated the building until the all clear was given. 12/10/18 11:57am, Bertha was the cashier. The issue began after we washed the sheets and noticed that one out of the four pillow cases felt totally different and was more an ivory color than the white we wanted. Not a big deal and we planned to keep the set without fuss. However when we tried to put the sheets on the bed it was fairly obvious the fitted sheet was Queen sized at best and the top sheet was in fact King. Obviously there was either a packing error or someone who is really good at folding this stuff back into the retail packaging swapped out the fitted sheet. Either way the customer shouldn't have to bite the bullet and lose $43.29 (including tax). So on my first availability I drove back to Tuesday Morning which is about a half hour drive, with the sheets in the Tuesday Morning bag and my receipts for ALL THREE (3) King Sized sheets sets I'd recently purchased. I didn't have the package for the sheets because trash day had passed and who keeps the package from a set of sheets, you assume they're the right size! This is where the drama began. Even with two receipts showing I purchased three sets of King Size sheets, two white, one gray, I was treated as if I was a scammer. The cashier said "well I need more information". I responded by showing her the receipts and explaining the sheets were not the sized marked on the packing nor the receipt. She leaves me at the register for a fairly long time while she went and looked through the sheets on the shelves to find the brand name. I told her the sheets didn't have he same name on the label as on the packing and was treated with more ineptitude. At this point I'm fairly frustrated as she's treating me like I'm a scammer but I have TWO RECEIPTS showing I'd spent at minimum $120 on sheets at this very location!!! Finally after some time a second cashier apologizes and starts the refund process. It would have ended there but the refund has yet to post to my debit card and when I called corporate I was given the run around and transferred to a voicemail box for accounting via the customer service rep. Save your time, save your gas and save the embarrassment of standing there in line and having your motives for returning defective items questioned. Spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere. I'll never shop there again, doesn't matter how great a deal is advertised. If you do shop there, KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS AND PACKING!!!

After this week, I will never step foot in this store. This started on Tuesday night, I looked online to see what time they closed and it said 8PM. I got off of work and walked in around 7:10, started to browse and saw an outfit on the wall that I needed, I asked an older woman working there if she could get it down for me and she did. She went back to sweeping the store in a hurry, and as she was sweeping I over heard her telling another customer that was with her daughter that one of her associates "didn't show up to work today and that she was having to close the store down at 7:30 today." As I'm still browsing she abruptly approached me and asked "Are you going to buy? Because I'm closing at 7:30." I told her I would buy it if it fits, and that I needed to try it on. So she lead me to the dressing room and I tried it on. While I was trying it on, she was rushing the other woman as well, and the customer told her that she had driven here all the way from Humble, she clearly was not happy either. The outfit was too small, so I ended up leaving. I didn't get too upset because from my understanding this woman was probably short handed and I just planned to return the next day. Although the manner this woman approached me was very unprofessional. Wednesday evening, around 7:15 PM again, I walked in and saw the same older woman working and another younger girl working. I thought to myself, good now I can shop without being rushed. I make my rounds and picked out a few things to try on, and asked the younger girl if she could get me a bigger size on the same outfit that was hanging on the wall, as she's doing so, I tell her that I was in the night before and I was basically rushed out by that older woman because she was closing the store down at 7:30. She didn't really react to it and just said "Yeah we always close the dressing rooms at 7:30 so that we can get out of here right at 8PM." I'm thinking to myself, wow. I've never heard of a clothing store that closes the dressing room early, only to benefit the people working there. I mean working retail, you close at a certain time, and that means the dressing room too? Am I wrong? So I continue to look and here comes the older woman again, telling me "Are you buying?! because we close the dressing room at 7:30." At this point I'm pissed. I tell her, "Look you did this to me yesterday, and I came back today, your sign on the front door says you close at 8PM. I've shopped here for many years and I've never known anything about you not allowing people to try on clothes at a certain time." She snapped back at me and pointed to a small hand written piece of paper taped on the wall near the dressing room that said something about them closing it at 7:30. Then she said "You must not shop here that much if you didn't know, there's a sign right there, and smirked and just kept pointing at the paper." She blew me off, she was extremely rude and disrespectful to me. So I go inside of the dressing room and I'm so upset that I didn't even bother to try on the clothes and told my daughter let's just leave. I kept my cool and left, I took a picture of the entrance door. What gets me is their return policy, even if you have a receipt you can NOT return or exchange a dress if you buy it. Which means if I walk in there at 7:35 and I'm not allowed to try it on, if I go home and it doesn't fit me, I'm screwed out of my money. Someone explain to me how fair that is to a consumer? It just doesn't make sense. I'm not the type of person to ever linger around shopping after a store closes either because I've worked retail for over 15 years and I know how frustrating that can be. To me this is just bad business. We are the ones keeping that business open by purchasing their clothes, but if they continue to have this type of outlook on running a business, it's not going to last. She was beyond rude, no sense of what customer service is. I had an encounter a few months ago with another older thinner woman working there that was chewing out one of her employees in front of customers and that was very unprofessional as well. I don't know if anything can even be done by my complaining, since it might be privately owned. But I will say that I do NOT recommend anyone spending their money there. I much rather take my business elsewhere. That's a nice shopping center and they shouldn't treat customers that way.

They have a large stock and a lot of stuff, and even though wait times can sometimes be long, with the good old single cashier problem going on, it's a great little cheap outlet in The Woodlands, which has a very pretentious town name by the way, and is very pretentious, let's be honest. So DT is Barbi's fave chain for cheap stuff, maybe alongside 99C Only and Daiso, and it shows, especially at locations like this one. If it handed out organs to dying people, it'd be Donor Tree. Unfortunately it doesn't. And with all the money it generates, it totally could. Or at least pay your employees better so they're not so annoyed all the time.
