I always find more than I planned at this store! Although the aisles are sometimes crowded, it's because the staff is unpacking merchandise so I don't mind. The staff at this store is the best in all of the Dollar Trees I've visited in the Phoenix Metro area. Special shoutout to Carol, who could teach classes on customer service! Sandy is another great staff member. Both of these ladies are professional, efficient, friendly, funny, helpful and kind. I've always had great customer service at this store, but Carol and Sandy stand out. They represent the company in the best way possible. read more

Who doesn't love the Dollar Tree? This is my favorite go to place for holiday decorations like window clings, small decor, and items to help me finish a craft for the specific holiday. I love their assortment of fake flowers to add to my mason jars. It is also a great place for party supplies or certain school supplies. I have to say, I was pretty darn impressed with this Dollar Tree. I had looked at an ad online and then decided to head on over here and check it out. I needed some party supplies and figured I could score some for only a little bit of cash. Yes...yes indeed! I made these purchases: -Two packs (45 in each package) of 8oz styrofoam cups. I am going to use these to fill with snacks for a party I am having next weekend. 2 cents a cup pretty much. -One lint brush roller. It has 25 sheets on it. Not as big as some of the other ones you can find at other stores, but for 1/5th the price, Ill take it. -Pack of 3 light bulbs. I needed some for my driveway fixtures. -A broom...yes...a full size broom for my kitchen. $1.00..... a whole dollar. Even if all the bristles fall out in a month and the handle breaks, it is still worth way more than a buck ;-). -A windshield cleaner for the inside windshield of my car. Its a microfiber cloth attached to a handle basically. Much better than spraying glass cleaner all over the place and leaving streaks. This thing works well. All of that stuff came out to a whopping $6.51. Score! The store is pretty small but it is stocked well. They have all sorts of stuff here, some name brand, some knockoff things, I was really impressed with the selection though. The cashier was friendly and engaging and overall, I thought it was a nice little store. I will definitely be back if I need more party supplies! read more

Wow, what an unpleasant experience. First off, the teenager at the counter who was faking a British accent for every third customer needs to realize that this is a JOB. Not playtime, not social hour, but a job that she gets paid money to do. Have some maturity, and realize that jobs are not your arena to play around with other people's cultures--it's offensive. So I spent most of my visit waiting for another register to open up so I wouldn't be subjected to this girls foolishness. So another lane opens up, this time with a more physically mature woman, and she calls over the customer who was next who had earbuds in and didn't hear her the first time she bellowed. So she rambles on mocking the girl about "Oh, I have earbuds in, la di dah dah, I don't care about anyone else around me" ARE YOU KIDDING ME? She said this to the poor girl's FACE. Very disappointed, it looks like this store is run by a bunch of fools who think it's playtime. It's a dollar store sure but it's still a corporate business who I think would appreciate hearing what's happening on their time and dollar. read more

This store is in a constant state of "stocking the shelves." There's usually only 1-2 people working at a time and invariably one of them is always in the back stocking items. Good location right off of Bell Road. read more

The manager told my daughter to be there at opening for a Sunday paper. We went and there were three people in line, none had a Sunday paper and when my daughter asked, they said they were sold out. THESE PEOPLE ARE OBVIOUSLY SAVING PAPERS FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS...WHY WOULD THERE BE NO PAPERS FROM A BUNDLE LEFT AT THE TIME THE STORE OPENED? The person who said she was a manager gave me an extremely weak "no" when I asked her point blank if she was saving them. You can hear lies in peoples voices when they say that. I purchase a LOT from this store, never again. It will be a cold day in AZ before they get another dime from us! Go anywhere else! read more

I've visited this store many times since moving to Surprise 4 years ago and I have never had a pleasant experience. I kept trying to give them a chance thinking it was a fluke but after today's awful experience, I have to say something. Everyone seems to be so grumpy. I never receive a "hello" or "thanks for coming in". When I ask a question, I feel like I'm bothering them. No one smiles, no one wants to be helpful. It's a shame I will be driving all the way to Goodyear when I need a dollar store item from now on. read more

Oh my goodness, what a great little store. If you have a party to prepare for, this is the best for paper products, decorations, balloons, serving pieces, cards.....and their Xmas products were unbelievable for variety and just "cute" factor as well as wonderful prices for the wrapping items, paper, ribbon, bags and boxes. The staff have been really helpful when help needed. You have to see it to believe it...best wishes to Dollar Tree and their staff!!! read more
