Came by the other day and it was a less than desirable experience. Parking was available in the rather decrepit strip mall lot. Street parking may be a better bet. The store was somewhat stocked, super dim, and had a super long line at the cashier with only one staff member. The store itself, matches the vibe of the area...super grimey...yikes. Rating: Terrible experience with a cashier named Belinda. I am a weekly regular here, but today I was denied service and publicly humiliated. She shouted at me in front of other customers and told me the manager was "too busy with important things" to help a customer. My biggest gripe with this Dollar Tree is its location. It's in a "shopping center" where there's rarely any parking and the street is a bit sketchy. I've found though that if I come in the middle of the day, I can usually find a spot in the lot pretty quickly. It's your typical Dollar Tree, there's always only ever been one cashier open the handful of times I've gone with a huge line so bring your patience. Went to this store to pick up some last minute party supplies. The store is your normal dollar store experience. I am writing this review however because the customer service experience was amazing. The lady who was working Register 1, Belinda, was friendly and helpful. She made us laugh while efficiently ringing us up. She noticed we were into the music playing and told us where to find the station which was awesome. I will come back to this store just to get the great service. read more

Unlike many Dollar Trees, they are always stocked up with what you are looking for. There are plenty of little knickknacks and toys for the kids and lots for the house as well. Like always, the prices can't be beat, about $1.25 for all we bought. On my last trip, we went in for Halloween decorations, spent less than twenty dollars, and then had a great time decorating the house. The service is good and the parking is very easy. read more

I love this place! It has so much cool stuff EXCEPT Air conditioning! I would of shopped a lot longer but it was so uncomfortable, makes me wonder how the staff that works here all day! This dollar tree needs air conditioning ASAP I was in there today to purchase some items and as I was shopping I was sweating my phone said it was 90 degrees inside that is not good for business and health especially for the employees I felt really bad for the employees I asked how come there is no AC in the building employee stated they haven't had AC over two years. I had told the employee that this really bad for their health someone can faint. They have big industrial fans in the front of the store but what about the customers. The store is clean and you can't beat $1 prices! This is my go-to spot for random items and snacks. They have basically everything! The staff is hit or miss. Last time I came the staff basically yelled at us for accidentally standing in the wrong line. Very unfriendly. However, today the lady who checked us out was very nice. This store is in a very inconvenient location. It is hard to find parking and the store looks like it is always about to close. I think they have problems with their deliveries and their staff is not enough to keep the shelves full. They usually have only one cashier and the lines are long. Cesar the manager has been working there for a long time and he tries his best with what he has. The store also has to deal with homeless people around the area. I live nearby and I go there when I need something quickly. But sometimes parking takes more time than shopping. read more

This review is for Belinda :) I went to this dollar tree this morning (February 20th) to get some balloons for my grandmas birthday. Belinda happened to be working there and it was pretty quiet as i came pretty much right when they opened. I saw her helping another gentleman with balloons and I asked if I could get some too and she was so helpful and cute. She tried to make my balloon assortment match all cute even though they didn't have a bunch of balloons to choose from (out of stock). She asked what I was getting balloons for and I mentioned for my grandmas birthday and told her she was on hospice and I kinda got all teary eyed. Belinda told me about her grandma and how she was her best friend too. Sweet sweet lady. Thank you Belinda for helping me make my grandmas last birthday a little extra special. The staff tries hard to not let the place be a chaotic mess . But they are so obviously understaffed. Long lines are ALWAYS present . ALWAYS takes longer to check out than shop. They go crazy rude & yelling at people who try to bring in bicycles, freaking out at them. It can be a challenge to enter the plaza and another test of patience to park . The plaza has a Hustler adult store , dive bar and hookah lounge , so you can get anything here .., except maybe a parking spot. read more

This is one of the biggest and well stocked Dollar Tree's that I've shopped at. They have a wide variety of products in every section. I'm impressed and surprised at how good the quality is on most of the items purchased to date. It's also common to find name brands and products that are 3x or more expensive in other retail stores. It's easy to spend a lot of time casually going aisle by aisle looking at everything available. The $1.25 per item is a double edged sword of affordabity and potential of overspending. While better to bring your own bags, plastic shopping bags are $0.10, resuable (bag says up to 125 times!), strong, large capacity for a grocery bag, and can hold a lot of weight without double bagging. Notable sections: Holiday section is always stocked and ready for the next two holidays. Gift wrap and party supplies is extensive for any type of event and most gifts. The stationary/office supplies/school supplies extensive, wide variety, and good quality. I love the small notebooks that fit in my back pocket that I use for work. I have one with a glitter style cover and it's the first glitter thing I've had that doesn't shed glitter everywhere. Food/snacks/drinks- OMG. So much to choose from with brands we know and love along usual dollar store knock-offs. I'll stand frozen in the candy section for about 30 seconds each time full of awe and wonderment with mild fear and overwhelm questioning life choices along side with what to purchase. Reasons why only 4 stars: Lines can get long and take time. However, looks can be deceived. I've noticed that the ratio people actually purchasing vs total people in line is often more people hanging out with the purchaser. I've always visited the store within an hour or so to close. The store is notably needing some love in the clean up department especially in the holiday section. The holiday section has appeared like a toddler party or close to it every time I've been there. Other areas of the store are as expected for the end of day. I've only seen the same two employees present with one as cashier and the other cleaning up store and helping customers. They are always pleasant, professional, and helpful. They are also visibly tired and appear overworked after a busy day. Another employee or two per shift especially on the weekends and closing times would allow for better customer service both check outs, question handling, and store maintenance. It is truly impressive how much is done in the store as far as items at least being in the right section and easy to find while messy. There are usually 10-20 different customers in the store during my visits. Important Information : Like every other business at this shopping center, parking is almost always and can be relied upon to be an epic and challenging adventure especially on the weekends and even more-so weekend evenings. Every business seems to be steady and busy. Highly recommend all the spots that I've visited so far. Tip: There are additional park spots behind the businesses across the parking lot that are accessible on Steven's Creek behind the mechanic shop, in between Alex's bar and Hustler, and from Bascom behind Shoe palace. Along with many friendly employees from the local businesses, this area is known for robberies, rowdiness, and strange behaviors. It is important to be aware of your surroundings, lock your car, and keep valuables out of sight. That said, common sense and awareness are pretty effective for a safe and positive positive experience. read more

The store manager the male awful very rude and disrespectful when he was being rung up by an store employee, while a long line of at least 10 people were waiting to be checked out at a different register. When I asked nicely if the register he was being rung up on was open he turned around with a rude snarky tone said "she will call you when she's ready". I just stepped back in line and waited back in the line I was in. Even the lady behind me waiting was taken back by the mangers response. Awful leadership on his part. I work customer service and the priority is always the customer not the employee guess not here. Management should be reevaluated here. read more

I seldom give one star, but frankly, I found the condition of this store appalling. I am used to going to a Dollar Tree in a different location and had expected a similar experience. In fact, this store was so messy it looked vandalized. I thought that perhaps this one visit was an exception, but I see that many others have encountered the same situation. This is entirely unnecessary as the store has many quiet hours in which shelves could be organized and items picked up off the floor. It is unsightly chaos. My check-out clerk was delightful and helpful and actually seemed entirely out of place in that store. I did not enter the restroom, but reading the reviews that include coverage of the facilities is frighting. You probably should not go there with small children who might have to use the bathroom. The store is situated in a small shopping plaza and parking is easy and convenient. Be aware that neighboring shops are of the adult variety so this affects the clientele. read more

I can't believe this location doesn't have more stars, Cesar and Belinda run the show, they are the sweetest kindest people ever, they're very compassionate professional and friendly and always go above and beyond. The store is always neat and organized and easy to shop and I don't go to any other dollar tree or 99 Cents store for that reason. They're always fully stocked and have lots of product. Today I heard a customer when I was shopping there say this is the best dollar tree I come all the way from the east side, of course I had to chime in to Cesar the manager because he was stocking and let him know why he always sees my face and why I've been coming there for years and years because it's the best. Even when it seems like they're the only two in the store they have the routine obviously everything always runs smooth and tight. Went to dollar tree this morning the lady at register1 and the only cashier was very strange she was talking with all the Hispanic people but when I reached the counter I'm a Caucasian lady she did not say anything to me her face became red like she was a totally different person. I said hi she said nothing I said thank you she said nothing also their was an African American lady next after me she also got that treatment to where the customer looks at me and nods her head. This dollar tree is always stocked up compared to the other dollar trees in the area. I really like the huge Holliday displays they have as soon as you walk into the store. And the craft area always has new items. When i was in the store, i heard a rooster sound (strange). They also carry food and snacks for the go. I had forgotten to get cesar dressing. Luckily, the gentleman working here said they carried it down the foor alley. I didn't catch his name but was helpful. Every time I come here, the same lady, who I believe is the manager, has the worst attitude. She is always making negative comments about not wanting to be there and having two jobs. If you hate your job so much please work somewhere else. It is not mine, nor any other customer's business however many jobs you have to make ends meet. It is very unprofessional and creates a toxic environment. She is so rude and I would complain about the way she attends customers, but guess what, she never rings anybody up. She is too busy making sure everyone is aware when the store is closing, how busy they are (because she's not helping) and how much she hates it there. This store is a true nightmare. Aside from the sketchiness of the area and adjacent businesses, the management at this location is incredibly useless and rude. "Chantel" or as many have called her, sharpie brows, is the worst employee I've ever seen. She screams at customers and is always picking arguments whenever customers defend themselves. I find myself coming here at minimum once a month. This isn't the largest Dollar Tree in the area but it's one of the best. I've been coming here for for about 10 years and each and every time I come here the location is clean, tidy, organized, has great displays and very nice staff. It never seems to be too crowded and they are always in stock with the items I need. This location is perfect to get everything you need from the Themed birthday parties, holiday home decor, baby showers, cleaning supplies, bath and toiletries, etc. The area surrounding the Dollar Tree is not the best area. It is NOT dangerous but it can appear that way. The area is a tad run down, they always seem to be doing some kind of construction, new stores move in and out, etc. do not let this steer you away from enjoying the pleasures of this Dollar Tree! I will continue to come here as long as I live in the area! read more
