I stopped in to store at 8:58PM as a gentleman was cleaning up, getting ready for closing. He kindly opened the door for me. I apologized for arriving at that time and asked if they could point me to the aisle that I needed. I went to quite a few Dollar Tree stores to find some ribbon that I needed to complete a project. I even called a few, but they were too busy to help or quickly said they were out of the product. My last call was to the Dollar Tree in Rolling Meadows. The store manager, Steve, took the time to look for what I needed. He found the ribbon, held it for a short time allowing me time to pick it up. Thanks to him, I am now able to complete a very important project The cashier could not have been nicer. Great customer service, great efficiency by staff, and the store was extremely clean and organized. I wish more people in today's world could be like Steve. read more

I had one of the worst experiences at this location. Two employees -- a young lady at the register and another nearby with blue hair -- were incredibly rude, dismissive, and seemed angry at their very existence. They were impatient, confrontational, and made the entire interaction uncomfortable by constantly arguing for no reason. It felt like they were more interested in picking a fight than doing their jobs or being respectful for each other. I don't expect luxury service at Dollar Tree, but basic respect and common sense shouldn't be too much to ask. read more

The store manager, Steve, is one of the rudest employees I have ever met and with a bad and demeaning attitude. Instead of explaining a store policy- purchasing at one store and being unable to return at another- he dismissed my question, stated it's his store, it's his retirement job, and he didn't want to lose his job as I was checking out after stating " do you want these or not?!". I wish this was my only negative intersection with him. Earlier this week, I had an emergency and needed to get some cleaning products. I got there 15 minutes before closing. As soon I made into the aisle, he stated that they are closing in 5 minutes, then again in a minute, saying the store was closed, which it was not. As I made it to check out, he was having a conversation with the cashier about how hours were being cut and how he isn't like another employee- extremely inappropriate! Being dismissive and dishonest to customers is horrible for business! Management and customer service training is definitely needed. read more

This store is really nice. There's always big selection of items for everyday activity. Recently I stopped by and shopped at this store looking for different stuff I needed. And I came across frames that was very useful for me. I mean I got a lot of them 'cause I like taking pictures whenever I got an opportunity to have a little trip. I also give them as presents to my friends with their pictures inside taken for them. Staff was helpful and responsive to my needs and I really appreciate it especially during this difficult period in our lives. We all need to feel support from each other. I guess I need to take some Christmas photo set for my family and close friends as well so these frames can be useful for me. And I must say I'm really satisfied with the service provided and it's nice that health and safety are top priority for them. I'll definitely be back here again soon. read more

This past weekend the cashier, Cyn, was the rudest cashier I have ever had ring me up. Anywhere. She literally yelled at me and slapped her hand on the conveyor belt because I was putting the divider back along the side instead of behind my order (there was already one behind my order) she barked at my daughter to pick up our bag as she continued bagging our items, and then proceeded to stop ringing me up to turn around and yell at two other customers - one who was politely asking for a missing bag of items. She helped me exchange some of the stuff I bought to celebrate family members birthday but couldnt use due to my family emergency.. Not only she understood my situation, she helped me immediately! I've been a patron of this store for most of my life. They have improved greatly over the years with their expansion. Unfortunately, post covid, the current manager has become incredibly rude and non-caring. My allergies acted up during check out and I had to sneeze. She told me I could not do that inside the store. I had the choice between leaving and abandoning my groceries or being belittled for being in the store while paying. I am sorry to say that after that check out experience I can no longer return to me local Dollar Tree and will have to travel farther just to get dollar store items now. read more

This dollar tree usually has a pretty good selection of items in stock. The manager has even gotten something out of the back for me when I asked if they had it unlike a lot of other stores.. I am lucky enough to live close to this location that even has a frozen section! The staff are so lazy and clueless !!! a line of people on a Sat Morning and the Lady cashier is chatting with a couple after giving them a Hug and asking about their family and How is Health issues are going while there is a LINE of people wanting to be checked out the other cashiers is totally clueless on how to do a return and the so called Manager is trying to figure out how to fill a Helium Balloon....Totally shitty customer service and a clueless staff as well....Rate this Dollar Tree in Rolling Meadows, IL. This dollar tree always has everything I need in stock when I go. It is conviently located but parking for it is rather odd. The store is usually fully stocked and the employees are super helpful. They even gave me tips on when the shipments come in so I dont miss out on items I would like to buy. They have an easy return policy too. read more
