If Ollie's has any flaws, other then it feeling like a thrift store, it would be that the carts can't go outside. Having to haul a large coffee maker box and my bag out to my car was a bit of a feat! Also the lady who checked me out seemed nice but was really put out when I asked for a membership card. I told her, if she didn't want to do it, I could see if I could do it online, but would like a physical card. She finally just signed me up.

The name of this store sums it up -- a lot of dollar items and dollar or more-plus things, but none were over-priced compared to comparable places. The last thing asked as I left the store was if I was looking for anything in particular, because he'd order it. Everyone who came in was offered a basket for shopping and if they needed it, assistance in finding something. If it wasn't here, he said he'd order it and for that person to come back next week. I signed up for their newsletter and saw they were having a great summer shoe sale starting today so made the trip over. I tried to be optimistic that I'd find something in my size for the sale prices advertised and since I need a wide shoe, which are not always easy to come by. Well was I ever pleasantly surprised!! I got two pairs of Keds for $20 each and two pairs of Ryka, one for $19.49 and the other for just $6.00!! That's four pairs of shoes for $70.24 including tax. The Ryka's are not inexpensive shoes, btw. My receipt says I saved $144.45! Now how cool is that?!! Will I be back again? You betcha!!
