    A score for $10

One of Raleigh's best kept secrets. This will be about the longest treasure hunt of your life. But it's worth the hunt ! I discovered this liquidation store while on Instagram. Raleigh Food Trap promoted them and while off today on a Friday I headed over at 7:30 a.m. The line was wrapped around the street with many people wrapped in blankets and sitting in foldable chairs. I stood and sat in my foldable camping chair from 8:15 am- 12:00pm. We finally were let in by the kind staff and they restocked all the bins. I scored a Power XL Air Fryer, a Italian turbo blow dryer and a Stainless Steel Copper Cuisinart Coffee Maker/ Kuerig Machine. HomeBarista Reusable Filter Cup which lets you use your own coffee !!!!! Retail value is over $300 for all 3 items I purchased at $10 each for $30 collectively. Please note: these items are not brand new or in perfect condition by any means. My air fryer is missing one of the baking pans that is included. There are notes detailing the defect. That's why they're $10 or less. On a good day I was in and out within less than 10 minutes with my items. Bring a wagon/ cart to carry your items and bring lots of patience. Don't come any other day except Friday and time management is key ! Be sure not to plan anything else after your trip to the store because there will always be unpredictable wait times in line.

If you're comfortable in crowded places and don't mind rummaging through random things, then this is the place for you. My friend and I went on the $2 day and found some amazing things! It takes a while to go through everything and you really need to be patient since everyone is trying to look through the same things you are. But for the price it's definitely worth it!

What a great find. Was able find $6 items but always high price items in the back! Like my new Gucci glasses.

Gah this place is a trash heap. I walk in, spend $100, and 3/4th of the stuff is usually broken or missing a parts.

It's very dirty and products don't work. I don't recommend at all. The area is very stretchy too, I would be careful.

I've always enjoyed walking the fabric aisles to admire the vibrant colors and unique upholstery designs. They usually have great remnants at good prices, but today, I have to say, I was very disappointed--and this will likely be my last visit. While browsing the precut remnants, I noticed an employee staring at me. I moved to another section of the table, but the same employee "coincidentally" hovered near me again. I ignored it and kept looking, determined to find a piece for a special project I had in mind. As soon as I found something I liked, I turned around to see her standing nearby, pivoted toward me, and she commented, "I see you found something." After a long day at work, I was simply looking for a quick, creative outlet to pick up some fabric for my design project. Instead, I felt scrutinized and uncomfortable. As an avid fabric purchaser who regularly shops in fabric stores from Raleigh to High Point and NYC, this was a disheartening experience. Most stores I frequent are welcoming and allow me to browse freely without unnecessary oversight. Mills Outlet, please do better. Your customers come to you for inspiration, not judgment. You never who could be shopping in your store.

I did not have time to really go further, and almost got trapped in the clearance Halloween section before making it to checkout. If Ollie's has any flaws, other then it feeling like a thrift store, it would be that the carts can't go outside. Having to haul a large coffee maker box and my bag out to my car was a bit of a feat! Also the lady who checked me out seemed nice but was really put out when I asked for a membership card. I told her, if she didn't want to do it, I could see if I could do it online, but would like a physical card. She finally just signed me up.

They have a Barnes & Noble, PINK, Victoria's Secret, Spencer's and Encore Shoes. Several small boutiques, athletic sports stores and famous chain sneaker stores(Champs, Footlocker). This is the reason I label this a "Urban" mall is because of all the street apparel stores. If you're looking for high end luxury designer shoppes like Lululemon, Nordstrom, Louis V., you won't find that here. At all. This is a decent mall to stroll through for a walk or if you need to pick up something quick while in the area. Some of the stores are small businesses just paying rent and not very popular. I have enjoyed shopping at Spencer's, DTLR, Foot Locker, Hollister, PacSun, Macy's, BELK. I mostly shop this mall for my preteen. It is so convenient when in the area, to stop by and shop quickly. Parking is effortless. I hope they can renovate this mall. It has soooo much potential to be better. The food court does not offer many options. I frequent the Chinese buffet Sinowok. The food is consistently good and the large portions are affordable to share with someone else. Customer service is excellent.

The draw here is more sparkly clothes and sparkly furniture than you can imagine. I'm not a sparkly kind of guy. Since I moved to the area last September, 6 stores have closed. However, there are some unique stores here. Anime, cosplay and tabletop gaming are covered, and the hobby store has an RC parts inventory that throws me back to my teens. It's got a Planet Smoothie, which is oddly rare in this area. Now that the mall has had two shootings a week apart we can probably kiss the handful of megabrands goodbye when their leases are up for renewal. Sucks, this was a good place to zombie mall walk.
