I've went to this location about three times. I purchased a few small gifts here for Christmas,…read morewhich were generally reasonable for the item. Today I went in to look for some schooling supplies. The store is clean, and the little bit of staff they have working is friendly. I purchased one art book for five dollars, it's a blank page art book with a hard cover. I think there are some things that are reasonable for an inexpensive gift, but then there are other items that are way overpriced. For example, they have 1 pound dumbbells that I was thinking about getting for a child and five dollars for 1 pound is way overpriced. Also their greeting cards say they are one dollar but when I rang it up, it came up to $3.99. There was no staff whatsoever at the self check out, so I just didn't buy it. So if people shop at the store, they should be aware that many items can be found for more reasonable prices elsewhere.

They will help you find what you are looking for or are happy to just let you browse and find all the fun things in the store. They have a great clearence section where you can find bags for $0.50-$1.00, wrapping paper 75% off, etc. This is one of the bigger stores and is a Crown store, so you can find just about everything you need here. Gift card, wrapping paper, gifts, etc. The main reason I like this store above all the other Hallmark's is because the staff is laid back and si helpful. I have never been ignored here and they have gone out of there way here for me, by letting me open the Valentine's Day Cards that were wrapped and not out yet. They said help yourself and dig away. Just a great store and great people.

I did not grow up shopping at target weekly so it is definitely a different experience than walmart. First of all, this target is clean!!! There are not random items laying around, nothing on the floor, and good organization overall. I like this target because they have a lot of clearance items on food/pastries/hygiene/cleaning products. The clearance signs are easy to find and include good everyday products. The app doesn't always align with the price given, so i appreciate the price scanners located in the store. I do not interact with a ton of the employees because I usually do self checkout but the employees at self checkout are always kind. They have a lot of workers!! Sometimes there is a worker on almost every aisle restocking things. The prices are reasonable, especially with the app. I find that my grocery bills are cheaper here than other stores for sure.

One place that will always dominate any neighborhood besides that other depressing behemoth store…read moreis Target. A huge sprawling parking lot with enough space under one roof to get in a mile of walking, if one were so compelled. This brings me to Target in Overland Park. Located in a safe and extremely close to most major roads and the interstate, almost anything you need since it's a Super Target. They do have a few employees walking around however you might have to hunt a bit to get them. However once you do, they're extremely willing to assist and friendly. Finally the place is always clean and well stocked with inventory so that's a huge bonus. Most items like pet food and accessories are in abundance, hardware and housing goods have most of what someone needs and the kitchen section has a lot of average equipment to great stuff depending on what you need. For example, the knife selection is horrible but mixers are just as good as anywhere else. I do all of my vitamin and specialty medicine (not prescription) from Target as it's the cheapest. If you're shopping for clothing, they do a pretty good job of maintaining many different sizes and keeping the clothes in their proper racks. Many other stores you can find the clothes just thrown about. The seasonal selection is decent but runs out pretty quick as they like to get the items in early, then restock only a few times, allowing it to run out well before the holiday. As for the food, it has what one has come to expect from Target, average products at a low cost however when it comes to fruit and veggies, they're much better than "mart" place of a "wall". The baked and homemade food items are average but better than that other "blue" store! They do have a pretty good bakery and they're the only one that sells Boston Cream Pie!!! I've also found they're the best for toys as I when I take my kids they have all most popular items and in bulk. So, if you want that GI Joe action figure, you probably will find it here. As for electronics, they have most of the newest gaming consoles, games and controllers however 4k media is limited, but that's a standard among all stores now as physical media continues to be replaced by inferior forms of content like streaming. Overall, Target is exactly what you expect anywhere and that's by design. The only real differences are subtle things that regionally might sell better at one place then another state won't offer a product as it won't make sense. Think of a heavy winter coat for sale in Texas - it isn't needed. Other than those items, it's Target so you already know what you want. This is the best Target around and will definitely save you trips to other stores.

Sorry I was one day past the return period but I was actually handlingmy husband's funeral. She said you've removed the tags. Well don't most people remove pricetags from items when they buy them and they're using them. I don't leave the tags on items. She was speaking loudly with other customers around and making me feel very embarrassed because I'm returning defective rugs that are one day past the 30 day limit . she says well I can give you a merchandise credit but I can't give you cash back. You know you have a severe customer service issue in the store and I am not the only one that has felt that way about the team in this store. I will use the merchandise credit you issued to me, but I will never ever ever step back into your stores again. Your managers should practice using an indoor voice instead of a loud voice unless that was her whole intent was to make sure the entire store heard what she was saying.

The staff was super helpful as well. They were asking people if they were doing okay and helped people find things. The base price of things not priced is $2.25 so it's also super affordable.
