I absolutely love this dollar tree for the variety of items in each usual category at dollar tree but also for carrying items other nearby dollar trees do not stock. I have the best finds here for a great price! While I love this specific location I do not like the actual location of the dollar tree as it's at an extremely busy intersection and hard to get in and out of the lot when it's busy. It's really amazing that a budget store like Dollar Tree can have such a well stocked and clean store. The staff are amazing and always helpful. I can always find what I'm looking for and a lot of things I don't expect to find. Staff friendly. Only issue is there's usually one person checking customers out so you have to wait awhile to complete your transaction. I like coming here during different seasons to but cheap decorations. They also have a good selection of kitchenware and art supplies so easy to get small gifts for the kiddos when I'm getting kitchen foil tins to be ready for upcoming holidays. A much needed Dollar Tree to the area. My one and only complaint, the small parking lot. The parking lot is small & busy, especially during the lunch hour. Dollar Tree shares the parking lot with a very busy Starbucks, Little Caesars Pizza, and Jersey Mike's. The store is larger than most and stocked with a variety of new items they plan to carry. Dollar Tree is great for most items, not all. I usually purchase the essentials here. For example, cleaning products, helium balloons for all occasions, paper products, gift wrap, gift bags, craft supplies, and greeting cards. I love the Hallmark greeting card line they are currently selling. I almost always purchase paper goods and related party supplies & decorations here as well. If you are feeling creative and crafty, this is a great place to get the DIY items you'll need to make your Pinterest inspiration. They carry frozen food and a large variety of snacks/treats. This location also sells bags of ice. The hours are convenient and the deals are worth the visit. A good place to save money and find some name brand products for a great deal. If you need bulk items, you can also order online; convenient as ever. Pros: Lots of inventory! Shop early during Holiday seasons for the best picks. The longer you wait, or about 2 weeks close to the Holiday - things are already gone. I usually buy lots of Balloons during Birthdays, greeting cards, homeschool supplies, disposable paper plates/cups, and whatever Knick knacks I manage to find. I always go for one or two things and end up leaving with 10+ items! lol Big shout out to... Dang, I forgot their name... there are two people who work here and go above and beyond for customers and are super helpful and nice! Good customer service. I will try to get their name and update this review to leave them a shout out! lol Cons- Sometimes it gets REALLY busy! Especially during weekends and Holiday season. They do try their best to keep the line short... but as with most businesses these days, it's hard to find employees willing to work... and especially hard to find ones that stick around. (The ones that stick around the most are usually the nicest!) Also, the parking structure is HORRIBLE!! Whoever thought of the parking lot logistics wasn't thinking right. Even back in the day, when the Dollar Store was a Fresh and Easy grocery store.... why would they make the parking lot this way? I was very disappointed for the cashier to tell me I couldn't buy balloons for my sons birthday because the other associates was doing inventory. When I had just seen a couple walk out with balloons. I've worked retail before and i always went above and beyond for the customers. Never did I tell someone they could purchase something because I was busy. New Dollar Tree in Oceanside! It's fairly large and they have a lot of stuff. You can find good things but sometimes you just have to spend some time looking unless you already know what they have. I like coming here for kids crafting materials, holiday decor, kids treasure box prizes, cards, stickers, coloring books, balloons, gift bags, and pencils. They don't have a whole lot of vegan friendly foods and snacks but they do sometimes- like the tasty coconut chips. The parking lot is small and is shared with Starbucks, a taco shop, and Little Cesar's pizza so it can get crowded. It's not the best place for a Dollar Tree but I suppose it is a good spot for the community. read more

I literally just went to this store, and the blonde haired, pale skinned female cashier with bright red lipstick was so incredibly rude to me, I am just in shock! She refused to give me my receipt & I had to reach behind the counter & rip it out & take it, myself. She also refused to give me the bag that I already paid for--which is behind the counter, so I couldn't even reach it. She refused to bag my things, too. I had to ask her repeatedly for a bag & had to bag my items, myself. If I were the manager of this store, this woman would have been FIRED ON THE SPOT!!!! I am 57 years old, and I have NEVER been treated this way by a cashier before! There is one other employee there, a Hispanic looking woman who is also always rude, but her rudeness is in not speaking back to you when you speak to her. At least she gives you a receipt, a bag, & bags your things. The other employees can be quite nice, but this one was SO BAD that I don't even want to shop there anymore! I hope she doesn't last long there, because this is the closest Dollar Tree to me, so I'll have to drive kind of far to go to another one instead. Normally I go to the Dollar Tree in Carlsbad which has been great but I was passing by this location today so thought I'd go in and pick up a couple of things. Absolutely the worst store and management. I paid by Apple pay and my account instantly notified me that I had been charged. However Bob the manager claimed my card did not go through and insisted I pay again. There was a huge line and I didn't want to hold people up so I paid a second time via cash and stepped to the side to try to have this resolved. Bob looked me dead in the face and kept repeating that my card had NOT been charged even though I logged into my bank and showed him the proof. He basically called me a liar, charged me twice, and offered absolutely no resolution! All while being rude and turning his back to me. I asked for a phone number to reach customer service (which would normally be on the receipt but they said there's a "problem w the receipt printer"). So I tried calling customer service which I just kept getting sent to voicemails. It is not even about the money as much as the way I was treated. I'm just shocked at how I was treated and completely disrespected all while being taken advantage of. I'm disgusted and will tell every single person about how I was treated and my money was taken. I work right next door to this location and won't ever spend another cent there. The manager has absolutely zero self respect let alone respect for the customers. I have left multiple messages and will continue to do so until this is resolved, simply because this is absolutely unacceptable. Nobody should be treated like this. As a manager there should have been an effort for resolution but instead I got called a liar and got robbed. Now I will have to contact my bank to dispute the charge.
