I like this location because I can usually find what I need and then some. It's not too different from other Targets nearby, but it's always stocked well enough for me to grab things without having to go to multiple places. One thing I do like is the location. It's in a shopping center with a bunch of other stores, so it's super convenient if you're trying to knock out a few errands in one trip. Overall, a solid Target. I needed a few things for the upcoming thanksgiving I'm attending and I was in the area. The parking lot was pretty full, but it couldn't prepare me for the crowds inside. There were people everywhere but I suppose that's expected the weekend before thanksgiving. The problem I had was that I couldn't find anything. I used one of the little kiosk type things to search for what I needed but, everything I searched for said not in stock. Okay, I could maybe understand that, so I searched for something that I knew they had and it still said it wasn't available. I was hoping to find where things were so I could look for myself but that wasn't apparent. I did find one thing that said it was available in stock but it was not in the location it said. I recently started coming here because I pick up my parents meds from the pharmacy located within. While I wait for the refill, sometimes I do a little shopping. I've walked around in the food area and found the items to be quite pricey. I did purchase from the produce one time out of convenience. The store seems to be organized and staff on top of restocking. The staff is quick to answer me when I stop them with my questions, but never were the staff personable. Where I do find most of the friendly staff is at the cashier at the front of the store. They also seem to have employees watch the front for crowd control at the lines. They will assist people waiting in line to go to another register that may not have a wait or try the self checkout line. I find the prices to be a bit pricey at Target. I do like that they have a nice selection of clothing and home decor. read more

I love the convenience of drive up orders. I had some major issues with drive up though- not getting all my order and having to return to the store, waiting an excessively long time, being charged for more bags than I received, even having by boxed diapers switched out with an incorrect size. I still go into the store sometimes and grab stuff but the drive up is super convenient. The only other thing I would wish for are more vegan items. It's seems like every time I try to order something vegan friendly, it is "no longer sold at Target." Please continue to stock vegan items. read more

I was served by Andre who was working at the front counter yesterday evening. I brought in my sales receipt and told Andre that I had gotten my Apple IPhone XR Cell Phone working by another technical store yesterday and I don't need 2 cell phones. I like how there's a self check out line as well as regular check out line. However the fitting rooms are a mess. Everything is unorganized and there's not a lot of staff picking up or cleaning up rooms. I've been to other target stores and they are managed better. Customer service side is OK. They were able to process returns quick. However it's easier if you have your original receipt. Items are not as stocked. Even if I looked online and numbers don't match the inventory in store. They need to focus on people who actually steal. I've been to this target many times since it's opening and never had any issues. Stopped in today to grab a few items and spent under $60. After using self check out (as usual because I don't care to interact with anyone), I walked out all the way towards the back where I parked. As I was walking, I noticed someone walking on the opposite side of me. Turns out it was their security who decided to go back to the store after I got to my car. So today I went to the Stanley release for the Valentine's Day cups, I was a little bit nervous just because of the horror stories that were on TikTok from resellers. But I just want to recognize this target and specific because they handled it so professional, and so well including the store lead, Kass! She made it so organized, and it was able to limit two per person per color for everyone to make it fair, and they just did such an outstanding job when it came to releases. 10 out of 10 would recommend this store for any type of releases, or even future releases that you might be going to just because of how well organized they are. read more

Went in to get a birthday gift in the electronics aisle. Needed assistance getting earbuds off the rack because I wasn't able to do so without a key. No one was at the register back there so I rang the assistance sensor and no one came. Called the tech department and the phone just kept ringing. So, went to talk to someone who works there because for some reason there was an army of employees restocking but not picking the phone up. Three different times, I would approach an employee and they would run into the employee only area before I could even talk to them. The store is an absolute mess, nothing is organized and I don't know why you need to restock a store that's quite literally overflowing with junk. read more

I went there to pick up an online order and it wasn't ready. No big deal, but then I asked if I could go back to electronics and get the product myself and then just ring it up under the current order and the kid said I couldn't do that. I'd have to cancel the online order that was paid for by my wife a different card I didn't have on me and pay with a pay for it at the register. So I say, I'm pretty much willing to do your job for you so and all you have to do is scan it as if you went back to electronics and keep the sale, and he said, they pull the items in batches, which would mess up the system. Now I understand there are ways of doing things, but out of shear willingness to maintain customer satisfaction, is there not a work around that would've allowed him to just let me have my product that was already paid for instead of being unwilling to help me and then going off to a corner and chatting with his coworkers? If i could, i would give this Target no stars. So me and my fiancée were in search of 48"-84" Tension Rod by Room Essentials and found them scattered throughout Southern California. We inquired on the phone to see if these were in stock at a few locations and we called this Oceanside East Target location. My fiancée then asked the employee if they had these in the store and this employee took the item number to look it up in their inventory system and said that there was like at least 2-3 in-stock. This employee who told us his name is, "Vlad" if he could put them on hold since we would be coming from the Chula Vista area to pick them up. Employee said there were all the ones that were in stock set are gonna be set aside and just to go to customer service to pick them up as my fiancée had placed them in her cart on the Target phone app. Upon our arrival to the Oceanside East Target parking lot my fiancée received a notification that the items were out of stock which was weird cause they said that they were holding them on the side for us to purchase. My fiancée spoked to Justin at the customer service desk who then said there was not anymore of the Tension Rods in stock and that the person we spoke to that was supposedly going to put them aside for us, was off his shift. I then told my fiancée that we can go looking inside the Target since we drove such a long way and we could double-check to see if they really did not have any of the Tension Rods on the shelf. We made our way back to the store and Justin from customer service is running back to us to give a gift card for $10 and didnt even say anything about filling out a complaint card. After Justin went back to the front we continued our way to Aisle H17 where all the curtain rods were displayed and found a Tension Rod just hanging there even after the the Target phone app gave us the notification that they were sold out and Justin saying that there was none currently in the store. (Picture of Tension Rod taken while in store) I then told my fiancée to show the Tension Rod to customer service and ask for a manager on duty. We get there and to our surprise Justin said that there was no manager on duty and finally gave us a complaint card to fill out which my fiancée filled out front and back. Justin then claimed that a manager or higher up would reach out to us about this discrepancy but its been a few weeks now or maybe a month so I highly doubt that the complaint card has seen the light of day. Moral of the story is this Target is up to some shady business and should be reported to the Better Business Bureau cause of their lack of customer service and work ethic. read more

I left my bag in the fitting room and was already across town when I realized what happened. I tried to call the store while I rushed back and no one picked up. I called repeatedly and it just continued to ring and ring until it would automatically hang up. I was able to get my bag back because luckily no one had gone into the fitting room or didn't notice that my purse was hanging on the wall. But as I ran to the fitting room it check, my mom went to customer service to see if anyone had turned anything in and two employees walked right by her. She tried to ask for help and they ignored her. I understand that if was my mistake to have left my purse in the fitting room and if someone had taken it, it wouldn't necessarily been any of the staffs fault... but not a single person could pick up the phone or talk to my mom who was standing at customer service!?? read more

Shelfs are empty. A lot of them. Customers and stockers tend to stop in the middle of aisle and doesn't care who the block. I had to turn around 90% of the aisles one of the aisles had a stocker with 2 carts on either side of the aisles. He looked at me and continued to stock. Never moving a cart so I can go through instead of turning around and find an aisle that someone else isn't blocking so I can go to the other side to get that I want. Checkers either don't bag your items unless you buy their bags or they like you. They also are extremely slow and getting another checker is a maybe. Nothing like feeling like I am bothering them. I will not go back to that location. I hate Walmart but at least you don't expect much. But you have a store that is stocked better. read more

I'm actually perfectly okay with this Target. It's a 5 minute drive from my house (YAY)! I know it's new but it does need a LOT of fixing lol I can say that the staffing is not a problem, there's a ton of workers around just incase I need help finding anything. One thing that I truly do love is that the past 5ish times i've been there, as I'm walking towards the check out lines, the cashiers head out toward you and tell you that they are an open register. Like how amazing right? I've gotten the same girl about three times and I love her positive attitude! (I'll have to catch her name the next time I see her so I can give her a little shoutout). I placed an Online pickup item right before my phone died as I was out running errands. I walked into target not knowing if my order was ready and explained that I did not have my phone and asked if my order was ready. The employee checked if my order was ready by ID. He looked it up and said it wasn't ready and it would be 15-20 min....for one item. I asked if I could just get the item myself and he said I would still have to pay. I frequent this location because it's less than 10 minutes away from our place. There's plenty of parking and the store is always kept very clean. There aren't very many people that approach me to ask if I'm finding everything okay, but I don't mind much. The one time I did need help finding something, one lady was more than willing to look for the type of shirt I needed for my interview. Only complaint I have is the ice cream section could have more flavors. They had a few kinds but I couldn't even find a single Rocky Road of ANY brand. read more

So this place is mostly good has all your needs, I am just upset about check out. I went to self check out so I wouldn't be bothered and I wouldn't bother a cashier with the coins I needed to get rid of and pay in. Almost the entire time this one girl who works there was practically breathing down my neck and staring at me almost the entire transaction. It made me feel like she thought I was going to steal which I do not and was not going to. It made it feel super awkward to check out. I don't mind that I was being watched but please have some tact at least. It was very annoying to deal with someone swaying back and forth in one spot and literally staring almost my entire transaction. Not super pleased with this location. I was called by a potential employer Tuesday evening, and asked to attend a job interview the following day at noon. Completely freaked out because I've been a stay-at-home mom for six and a half years and had NOTHING to wear... so after searching for the Nearest Kohls or TJ Maxx (both 12+ miles away) I went into panic mode and opened my Target app. I managed to find and order a blazer, some dress pants (had to go one size up because they were out of stock of like five different sizes), and two shirts. Mind you I submitted my order at 9:05pm, and all the things I ordered were listed as being "In Stock". Fast forward to the following morning, the store opens at 8am, I gave them 20 minutes to get their day going, and then called to politely ask when I can expect my order to be ready. The first woman I spoke to was friendly and seemed empathetic to my situation, knowing my job interview was only 3 1/2 hours away. She asked if I had my order number, and when I told her I did she transferred me to someone who could look it up. This is when things became disappointing. The guy who answered the phone had a very nonchalant attitude about my situation, informed me that it doesn't matter when I submitted my order, there was no way he could "look it up", and said they have two hours to get my stuff ready. Now, I understand this is their policy/procedure- but WOW was I surprised by his lack of interest in doing ANYTHING to help me out. I managed to receive my order about an hour later, and BOTH shirts were missing, as they had become out of stock overnight. Frustrating. Besides this experience, this store is overall underwhelming, frequently out of stock of a variety of items, and don't get me started on the day-to-day clothing styles they offer. If you aren't a size small, crop-top-wearing 21 year-old, good luck finding anything to wear besides an XL prairie dress or something from their maternity collection. I do not frequent this location (or any other) because over the years, Target has raised their prices as if they were a trendy boutique shop, and I'm not about it. I'd much rather take my chances ordering clothing off Amazon and getting groceries from WinCo. Thanks for reminding me why I never shop at Target, Target! read more
