My last visit I bought canning jars, as I needed more for my home made preserves. I was surprised that they had them, so bought quite a few. In general I have been happy with all of the products I have bought here. The prices are good, the quality is surprisingly good, also. The service is good, not great, but I don't expect great at a discount store. One thing I don't recommend be purchased here is food. Nearly all of their food is infested with pantry moths. They're so abundant everywhere in the store that I inspect each item I buy individually before bringing into the house. Once infested, it's virtually impossible to get rid of them.

You need to know your prices because some items were much cheaper in Walmarts. My biggest disappointment was their book section. Very limited selections except for the children section and a large selection of crossword type of books. Maybe I was spoiled by their Wilkes Barre, PA store that had a super book section. Their book area rivaled some book stores. I did find a handled cloth to clean the inside of my car's windshield. That was cool. We will go back and give the store another shot in the future.

Daiso has a lot of items that are super cute, such as plushies, stationary, makeup, pet toys, household items, and more. They also have an awesome snack station and a good amount of electronics accessories, so there's usually something suitable for everyone that they might find interesting/ useful. I have a lot of the kitchen items such as their dishes, stovetop liners, and chopsticks, but I also enjoy their home accessories such as their house slippers, plushies, and stationary. The snack area always has a lot of fun options to munch on during my trip back home! They also have excellent car accessories, so I have even purchased car cushions from here (they're pandas!). Overall, the items are usually in the $1-3 range, but some items may go up to about $10 based on what it is!

It's Japan's version of $1 store except in the US, it's $1.75 and up. The quality to me is better than the regular dollar tree or 99 cents stores. The store is very clean and organized. There are some basic items that they carry all year and then specialty things that come and go. Some of the sections: gardening, toys, makeup and hair, electronics, storage, kitchenware, pets, snacks, camping, etc. You can grab some necessities as well as whimsical things. The staff are very friendly. Def one of my fave spots.

I am an avid reader and no one can beat their prices if you find a book; which I always do. This location cares for their book section unlike most other Ollie's. A "bargain outlet" with 500+ locations across 3 dozen states, they have massive inventory that covers everything from mattresses to children's books. If Costco and Dollar Tree had a baby, it would be named Ollie's. I hate to generalize by saying they have everything, but it's really hard to suggest that they don't. There's appliances, apparel, sporting equipment, toiletries, electronics, office supplies, storage supplies, shoes, sporting gear, pet supplies, home decor, etc. It's really easy to get lost in everything they have. However, calling in might be an issue as their customer service is very spotty at best. The website isn't the most reliable in confirming inventory, so perusing in person is usually ideal. At the end of the day, affordable stuff that doesn't feel cheap even when it is. More importantly, I've scored some impressive deals and almost everything was of good-to-great quality. "Good stuff cheap" happens to be their slogan and is a motto I can certainly live by whenever I shop here. ____________ (#1) aka "missing out" (#2) Most of the country has Dollar Tree. Definitely wants you to have a great shopping experience. We ended up buying a washer, dryer, and fridge. Great pricing for value. Owners- 5/5 Helpful and informative. Asked them for help with the best suggestion for a water softener to care deeply for appliances that are new, and gave a few suggestions and information on the Houston area needs for home care, given we moved from CA. Delivery- 4/5 The positive: Communicative and called ahead of time to let us know they were 30 mins away. What needs improvement: The delivery men mentioned that they were NOT given the correct tools to finish the job of leveling out the panels on the fridge or what was needed for installation of the fridge upon delivery, because they "switched delivery trucks on them". Unfortoley, that leaves us the customer, waiting for them to come back and finish the job they were paid for. It's been a week, and we are still waiting for them to come back and level out the panels on the fridge. This is either the delivery men's lack of preparation before delivery or the owners' lack of structure to ensure delivery has what they need for all to go as needed.
