Well, I've been preferentially going to the Tyngsboro location instead of the one 5min from my…read morehouse. Why? It's cleaner, better stocked and the staff is much friendlier. I was there today and both Nance and Ryan were super sweet and had the Christmas bowls waiting for me since I had called inquiring about them. They even looked out back to see if there were more! Now that's customer! My other comment is this: why since about April 2025 are there no more than 2 staff members working in Tyngsboro no matter what time of day it is? And I 100% get why there were reduced hours when there was water damage. But why hasn't Dollar Tree mgt hired more people? That's a mgt problem, not the current employees working problem. The workers are doing their best based on the very limited help they are getting from mgt. And whoever is shopping there can see this. And those of us who know the studies and stats, out of 21 comments, people will overwhelmingly post the negative while 3 will post the positive. I haven't posted before but I wanted to offer my opinion and be part of the change - so be positive. To error is human but we must all recognize we all are. Look for the extenuating circumstances, take into account the stress that these Dollartree employees are under from a lack of mgt involvement and try to see things from another human beings point of view. In today's society we are lucky to have employees like those in Tyngsboro who are nice, don't ignore you when you have a question and go out of their way to help you.

Selection is sub par. I would never grade a review on selection per se or parking, those are out of people's hands - but do just add to the vibe I've consistently seen at this location. This is coming from a frequent Dollar Tree shopping. Bummer. Be nice to people, use a nice tone.

It depends upon which specific location you visit that determines the awesomeness. Now, when TJ Maxx and HomeGoods are combined, into a larger space, normally, it creates awesomeness. And here, it was a success and is to this day a success! Huge store and tons and tons of inventory. I don't know if any of the other thousand stores like this I have been to have had so much specialty foods or decorative Christmas supplies. Either a boatload got shipped here, or people just have been shopping everywhere else. Either way, they had tons of great deals throughout and I was able to check off SEVEN gifts for the holidays with decorated candy canes filled with OREO's in the specialty food aisle, and even a few others with lots of small, compact gifts. Christmas decor section was overstocked (as said before), and even the men's clothing section was full too. I came a week before Christmas, and not only was this place FULL of bargains, it was packed busy, organized AND clean! How is this even possible? Line was long (or so I thought), but took less than five minutes to get through with all ten registers alive and kicking. Great service for such a busy place. Acton isn't very close to any huge malls or department stores. TJ Maxx provides a wonderful place for residents of the area to go if they need something quick and decent without going to Natick. 5 stars.

Five Below stocks toys, books, games, posters, DVDs, activity kits, beach stuff, water guns, cards, candy, snacks, drinks, party supplies, and other cool stuff. I literally feel like a kid in a big candy store! A few months ago, I was shopping at the Five Below store at the Oxford Valley Mall in Langhorne, PA (outside of Philadelphia) where I snagged some bargains including some books and gag gifts. I'm very glad there's now a Five Below store in NH, which is located in the former Famous Footwear space. Some interesting stuff they carry include colorful boogie boards, hula hoops, Red Sox beach balls, whoopee cushions, Hannah Montana & HSM logo merchandise, Patriots logo items, The Simpsons Uno card games, classic thick hardcover book of Superman comics, Jonas Bros hardcover book, and glitter lamps. They also have official size basketballs, footballs, and volleyballs for $5 each. Flip flops are $3 & $5, printed t-shirts $5, MLB kooky pens $2.99, chess game $5, DVD movies $5, Hello Kitty gardening tool $4, and movie sized boxed candy are $1. Pop and dance music from the early 2000s pumps over the speakers in the store for a very fun, fun, fun shopping experience. Overall, a great place to shop for gifts for kids and the kid at heart and won't break the bank.

I am curious to know how these companies stay in business. In late November 2022, I placed an…read moreonline order and paid with my credit card as usual. There was an expected delay but never any contact or communication on their part. But they didn't hesitate to take the money from my account and go on vacation to someplace warmer. So on December 5th, 2022 I sent an email asking for an update on my order. Later on the same date, I received a Transaction refund from Pepperell Braiding Company with nothing more than an invoice number and the amount to be refunded. I thought that was a cold way to treat a paying customer. So I looked up their phone number and spoke to the very lady who issued the refund. I was not happy with them issuing a refund without any explanation. She told me she didn't know what the reason was for the refund she was just advised to refund the money from Mr. Jowel in the wick department. I asked to speak to a totally confused Mr. Jowel who was not up on the conversation end of a telephone call. I see why he doesn't answer the phone. He kept apologizing for asking the same questions over and over again and then wanting to give me a history lesson about the company being swamped. He finally said that the lady in accounting transposed a number or two and that's why my order was canceled. I'll never do business with such a fly-by-night company that can't keep track of what's going on and fails miserably in keeping their customers informed.

Not to mention the thing LEAKED ALL OVER the table. These cheap foreign products they sell DON'T work 9 times out of ten and I'm sick of it. Five Below has a great set-up for themselves because who's going to spend $3 in gas returning a $5 item. Does anyone in their company do actual product testing? Anyone? I'm so done with them. If you're worse than the Dollar Store, you need to examine your reason for existence.
