A Dollar Tree in the Town of Acton? Seriously? Well, even though the Town of Acton wouldn't be a place that I would think of having a Dollar Tree, there is one, a brand new one in fact, sitting in a weird shopping / business complex right off Route 119. It seems like a really weird place to have a store like Dollar Tree, but it also seems like a nice place to have for residents of the area or people who work in the area. Store is very clean, new, and spacious. Lots of selection and very friendly employees. This store seemed to have an extraordinary section of seasonal finds. Always lots to love about the Dollar Tree, mainly being that you can fill your cart and still not come out with breaking the bank! I was able to find everything I was looking for, didn't have to wait long in line and was in and out of this place quickly and efficiently. Located in the Nagog Park off Route 119 in Acton, minutes from the I-495 split. Convenient as there are very few discount stores in the area. 4 stars for the new Acton Dollar Tree! read more

Cashiers here need some basic manners, as others have pointed out. I went in to buy some river stones for a craft project, and the man running the register today felt the need to tell me: "you can find those outside, they're called rocks." I'm sure he thought he was adorable, but I suspect he wouldn't have made that wise ass comment to a male customer. read more

I have long since stopped expecting any store to train cashiers on bagging. However, anyone who has even purchased groceries should know not to put bread and chips in the bottom of a bag and completely fill it up with heavier items on top. Found my flat bread when I got home. read more

i had a really disappointing experience at checkout. when i mentioned i was over 18, the cashier literally laughed in my face. it felt rude and unnecessary -- not the kind of customer service anyone should have to deal with. read more

During my checkout, the cashier engaged me in conversation. It went something like this: Cashier: Are you excited about everything opening up? Me: Not really. Cashier: Why? Me: Because we will be on the honor system and not everyone is honorable. Cashier: Well maybe the president should just mandate that the whole country has to get vaccinated! Me: I'm not saying that. Everyone should have the right to choose if they want the vaccine or nor. But I should have the right to choose not to be in close quarters with people who are not vaccinated and who won't wear a mask. Cashier: Are you vaccinated? Me: Yes. Cashier: Well I'm not and have no interested in getting vaccinated. So why don't you just lock yourself in a room and never come out of your house! This was extremely rude. I have a Dollar Tree closer to me, but I like this store better (more organized and cleaner), but will never shop here again. She needs a little training on how to talk to customers. read more

I am so glad that Acton Dollar tree has new managers. The store looks great. They staff is very helpful. Will be doing more shopping there!

If there was a negative rating , I would provide that. Had kept my return bag near the counter as told by the employee and went to shop for more items, on my return the bag was missing and the manager said they cannot be responsible for it and won't give me the credit even though I was instructed to keep the bag near the counter. Extremely rude manager who walked away without resolving the issue and couldn't care less. read more

I walk in, the place is mostly neat and tidy and my intentions were to purchase items from the snack isle. I notice that both sides of the isle are blocked off with boxes filled with inventory that looked like it was in the process of being restocked. I knew exactly what I needed from the isle so I hopped over the box tray thing and went to grab my items. When the lady working came and yelled at me and being a total Karen (yes I know I should not have gone into the isle if it was blocked) but she made it a even bigger deal then it was. She asked me to exit the isle and I went into another isle and exchanged looks with my dad.... Maybe a giggle or two (it was hilarious that nobody was restocking yet I had to leave the isle and I know a good percentage of people shopping there had snacks in there hands.) I let out a big YIKES this lady was extremely rude about it and we walked out and left with nothing. We go to dollar tree all the time and have never had an issue and this woman seemed to be in a mooooodddd. So anyways I hope she sees this and sees my message that she was terrible anyways hon just know we went to the one in Groton and it was 10000% better EVERYONE GO TO GROTON OR WESTFORD!!!! We may have to go back though because acton seems to be the only dollar tree that has my favorite candy anyways bye people ( it gets a two out of five for having my favorite candy and one of the workers being nice and that's it ) read more

Clean location, well stocked, and the associates are friendly. A good place to stock up on essentials without breaking the bank.

I passed by right around one million locations of various Dollar Store chains in my life, always thinking "What the ____ can you buy for $1.00 that's worth going in there to buy?" Finally went into a Dollar Tree location and shopped around. "Oh - many actually useful items which would cost you $1+ or $2+ or $3+ at Target or Walgreen's or Walmart etc.," I realized. Some possibly useful advice: if you find a good-quality item you like and it's something you can safely store away for months or years and you'll be using up many units of it over the upcoming months or years, don't buy one or two units of it at a time, buy at least a few, to many, units of it at the same time. One day, you're going to go in there to buy one more of the many, many hundreds or thousands of units of it you've seen there over the last three or five or nine years, and find that it's suddenly and finally gone, forever. read more
