Everything looks like it has been hand finished, stained if necessary, and polished. Nothing "rickety" that I saw. The art on the walls and on stands are original paintings and mostly limited edition giclee prints of photographs by New England artists. In many ways, the place is like a curated museum, and we will return to see what's new when we're back in Sunapee.

From the moment Mom & I walked in, we had great interactions with the staff. The lady at the register by the door asked what we were looking for; when I told her we were there for my wedding dress fabric, she said, "well, we aren't going to have a lot of conventional wedding dress fabric." "I know, that's why we're here!" "Oh... reenactors?" "Yep!" We were directed to the fabric room and were immediately assisted by a wonderful woman (whose name I have sadly forgotten!), who was tremendously knowledgeable, very helpful, very pleasant, very kind, and very happy to be helping me with this project! She was also great about educating me on their class offerings- including rug braiding, which I am interested in learning. I had gone on their website ahead of time to get some product numbers to look at. The aforementioned employee produced the desired fabrics in a jiffy, even educating me on the washable properties and showing me swatches of my chosen fabric that had already been washed and somewhat felted. Lucky me, the fabric I chose was on sale! Yay! We were cashed out at the register in an efficient manner. Overall, this was a great experience and I have already recommended Dorr Mills to other friends in the reenactment community.

I stoped I'm on a Saturday with my wife and was pleasantly greeted by Melissa. She welcomed me into the store and showed us around. She was very knowledgeable and educated us on all the varieties Love's carried. We fell in love with the EvoSleep and made the purchase that day. The mattress was ordered and took about 10 days, which was perfectly fine. The deliverers came promptly and called 15 minutes before their arrival.
