I'm not sure what's going on in this location, but it is certainly a train wreck. The district manager should bring somebody by from other locations to get to store faced and fronted. I walk into the location and minutes later. I just have to walk out and go to a different store. This is pretty much the general consensus of most people that go here. I know hiring in Westford is a challenge. But at least you can support the management of this challenged location by bringing people in from time to time to get the store customer ready. It's a massive location and I'm sure the operating budget for people is not adequate. read more

This is the worst service I've ever received. The manager had the worst attitude. The store was a mess very trashy. I tried to return something, and the manager refused to accept it. The store is always a mess. The managers always hanging out with girls at this office. . This store could be so much better if the store manager did not work there. All I witness is the manager, flirting with the girls at his store dressed like he's from the hood very unprofessional. I know dollar tree ain't gonna do nothing about it. This is one star only because you can't give zero. I came in here to purchase some drinking glasses to replace what was lost in my house, fire a year and a half ago. We just moved into the new house but had nothing to drink from. I purchased eight tall and eight short glasses here and the checkout girl asked if I would want them at a bag. I said yes and she stacked them in the bag so that when I got home one of them was broken and two were missing. I came back today with my receipt and the manager says oh no. We put everything in your bag. You left the store with them. Well they're not in my car and they're not in the bag so I guess he's calling me a liar. This was a very upsetting. Just respectful occurrence. I highly recommend never coming to the store if you value your self-respect. read more

NEVER EVER GO TO THE WESTFORD DOLLAR TREE STORE!!! I had a horrible experience with the staff. Both Store manager (male) and associate (female) acted like total lunatic. They would need some basic training on how to treat customers with some dignity. This is classic example how staff could bring very bad reputation to a store like Dollar Tree. Sorry for the long write up; but if you are interested to know more on my bad experience, please continue reading. I bought lot of merchandise from Dollar Tree for a graduation party and went to return few unused items. First of all, when they saw me, the lady staff walked away from the cash register. When I told her on the need to return few items, she asked in the rudest way, "did you buy from this store? do you have original receipts?". I calmly replied, "yes, I do". Then the store manager guy came and asked the same questions in a much more rude way. Initially he said, "we don't take any returns"; then he said, "I could take max 10 items". I responded calmly, "I'm okay with that". I gave 10 items to the lady staff that along with all Dollar Tree receipts I had (multiple purchases from this store and another from nearby town). When I asked if that is Dollar Tree's policy, this lunatic shouted at me "if you ask once again, I will kick you out of my store". I was totally stunned with such a response as it was first time in my 40+ years of life. I then asked them to give back the receipts that does not belong to that store and they didn't return me any. I'm not sure if it was a pure racism (both staff were white and me being asian origin) or if both staff were on drugs or something else. Seeing lot of similar complaints from customers about this store, I'm really surprised that the regional/corporate management of Dollar Tree not kicking them out. read more

First I was verbally accosted by the employee on duty, screaming at me that the store wasn't open and I had to leave. I was so taken aback at the tone and volume of her communication, I literally thought that there was a gun man or robber in the store that she was alerting me to leave. I told her the front door was open so I assumed the store was opened. When i looked at my watch it was 8:59am. She proceeded to scream at me that she's had to send 4 other shoppers away as well. She states that there are workers on the roof that's why the front door was open. How was I supposed to know this? There were no signs, or yellow tape across the door so workers could get in but the general public could not. Not exactly the way I wanted to start my day. I did confront her and asked why she was screaming at me and communicating in such a confrontational and aggressive manner. There is no need for another human to speak to someone in that way. Customer service is certainly lacking with this employee. Perhaps some training would go along way. Needless to say-i won't shop at this store again. Shame! read more

This store is a complete disaster boxes everywhere, trying to close off aisles with other products. I recently went here and didn't notice that the aisle was supposed to be closed off because of it being blocked partially with a product. I was then followed around by an employee yelled at to get out of the aisle. When I didn't understand her reasoning and asked if I could purchase products in the aisle, she continued to raise her voice at me and told me "No you need to get out of there." I was honestly confused and surprised that I was being treated like this by an employee, and I told her "I can't believe that you treat customers like that." She then followed me around yelling that I should have known that the aisle was blocked off. And proceeded to demand that I leave the store. It is a total embarrassment the condition of the store and the actions of the employees. There was only two people working. I believe the woman yelling was the manager I'm assuming her name is Jess. She then refused to give her name. I have contacted corporate. It's extremely unfortunate this store is an embarrassment. That employee was extremely rude and aggressive. Not to mention an entire spill on the floor left there for the whole time I was in the store, that was just surrounded by laundry baskets instead of cleaning it. Corporate definitely needs to pick up their game and clearly fire some of these employees, or at least teach them some social skills. read more

Good morning, I would like to report the person who told me he was a manager of the Dollar Tree at 1 Carlisle Road in Westford, MA. This man certainly did not conduct himself as a manager. This person/manager declined to give me his name when I politely asked for his name after he treated me with the utmost disrespect. He and his cashier need to have more training in how to handle situations and how to treat customers. This morning 07/29/24 around 11:00 am, I shopped for a few items that amounted to $31.45. When I loaded my bags into my car, I realized that one of my bags contained items that were not mine and that I did not pay for them. I went to the cashier to return the items and very kindly told the young female cashier that I found in one of my bags some items that were not mine. She was very surprised and declared that she had not put those items in my bag. When the so-called manager approached us, she left her post. She was probably too upset to deal with the situation. For me it was not such a big deal, I understood that the instance could happen , and therefore I was very gentle and sympathetic toward the young girl. My intention was not to upset her at all. I was expecting a thank you from her and for me to go back to my errands. This is not what happened when the so-called manager came into the picture. He immediately looked suspicious of me and did not ask me what happened. I tried to explain the situation, but he did not listen to me therefore he did not understand what I (a black lady) was saying. To my disbelief and dismay, he had the audacity to ask me / demand that I apologize to his employee. A lady, who happens to be white, recognized the items in the bag and claimed them as hers and intervened and said that not only was I kind but honest. Thank you, Madam, for trying to help in this surreal situation. It was only when the "manager" heard the lady that he finally stopped being rude toward me. I told him that an apology was in order. He refused to apologize, even when I insisted on receiving an apology from him that was to no avail. Another white woman with two young boys said to let it go because he would not apologize. The so-called manager finally murmured a very faint "sorry" as he probably feared that other upstander customers would take part in what was happening in this store. Nevertheless, he refused to give me his name so I told him that I would report him. He did not care, he said fine. Whomever this individual-manager is, he is a 30+ years old white man with brown hair. Dollar Tree, please provide some training hours for this person so he can be a better manager. I took offense to his poor managerial skills, other Dollar Tree employees were always very helpful toward me, except for this individual today. Sorry this is a long review. read more

This dollar tree is the most unorganized one. The staff is always changing. There's only one check out cashier available. the manager, Jess recently convinced me to buy Number balloons there and told me to go to Market Basket to have them filled with helium for free. So I went through all this hassle. The balloons didn't inflate and Market Basket was trying to charge me four dollars extra for filling the balloons and luckily I decided that I didn't want them so they just threw them away. when I called Jess back she was extremely rude and stated I didn't tell you to take them there, needless to say they didn't wanna exchange or give me my money back. The Dollar Tree in Westford, Ma is not very well run. the floors are dirty, boxed and unboxed merchandise is all over the floor. I have never in my 71 years written a review of anything but this place is an utter disaster. In actuality, I heard another customer talking to a cashier in a different Dollar Tree and she complained about how dirty it was too. Maybe the don't have enough help. Store use to be a Rite Aid. Store is clean and neat. It opened yesterday November 29,2018. Aisle are wide. Fully stocked inventory. Everything is $1.00. i love the Dollar Tree - please everything is 1.25 for pete's sake, but i have to admit in Westford there is one guy who works as a cashier (overweight with glasses) and he is a totally rude a-hole 100% of the time.
