They didn't have the model I was considering at the other location. We met with consultant, Robert, who showed us many others to sample. Just couldn't do a direct comparison with the other chair. According to Robert, the remote control/wands are being phased out so won't be stock items anymore. All power chairs are now coming standard with the controls on the right side. You can order the wand version and wait. That's not practical for people who don't have use of their right arms and may not be able to wait. At least I'm able to get what I need now. Robert had full shoulder replacement a couple years ago so could really relate to my situation and gave me advice not just on chairs, but tips to make life a bit more manageable during recuperation. Thanks Robert! :) After much humming and hawing, I narrowed it down to two chairs. One was a clearance model, because only one in stock. Actually was more comfortable than the original chair in Nashua, though a little more expensive even after 30% off. The other was a beautiful luscious leather chair with additional features (lumbar and headrest power adjustments). It was very nice to sit in, my feet could touch the floor (short legs are a nuisance!) but after reclining for a time, the lumbar inflator was actually hitting a bit too high on my back. Wouldn't be comfortable for sleeping. Oh well, go for the more practical one. We will be picking the chair up on the weekend, so won't be able to comment on delivery services.

But the worst of it is these chairs are 15 months old and they look 10 yrs old. With moderate use by 2 adults they are squeaking loudly when you rock them, the manual handles are very stiff and they make a loud clunking noise when you put up the foot rest, the material is not stain resistant and hard to clean even the lightest bit of dirt on the arm areas. The stuffing is very cheap as its caving in and sliding around. You can see from the pictures the big dent on the back left where the stuffing is caving in and the arms are loosing their shape and slide around as well. Absolutely horrible chairs for almost $900 each! I am 58 yrs old and have purchased a fair amount of furniture over the years and I can absolutely say this is the worst quality and most overpriced furniture I have purchased. Lazy boy is going on a reputation that is no longer true of their furniture and I will never consider purchasing anything made from this brand again. I also warn others of my experience so they don't waste their hard earned money on this junk either. I trusted the name without checking into their customer feedback cause I had a lazy boy many many years ago that was very good quality....these chairs are not anything near the quality lazy boy was in the past. Such a shame and such a huge rip off! I saw beautiful recliners in Costco today for for less than half the price of what I paid for my lazy boy recliners and when I sat in them I could immediately tell they were much better quality...made me kinda angry I was ripped off so badly from lazy boy but it will never happen again that's for sure! Do yourself a favor and don't buy lazy boy...they are not the quality they were in the past based on my unfortunate experience.

I was trying to purchase a recliner for my grandmother in MA but I live several states away. I found a couple of recliners which she would like and called Mario's and Debbie told me that they could get both recliners, the pricing and realistic delivery timelines. Mario's had a lower price than any other store in the area and a much better warrantee (5 years vs 1) than any other store who sold the same chairs. They also we extremely helpful with ordering the chair. Debbie kept me up to date on the status of the chair and she made a special effort to schedule delivery of the chair to my grandmother on a day that was best for her. I imagine that Debbie pulled some strings with the delivery men to make the special day and time work. It was exceptionally nice of her and helpful to my grandmother. The delivery men were prompt, polite and perfect according to my grandmother. When she or any of my relatives in MA or NH need furniture you bet we are going to Mario's. I've had multiple friends sit on my bed and say it was the most comfortable bed they've ever felt. So I'm not alone in my opinion. It was a custom mattress that was chosen through their little selection thing they have you go through, and I definitely recommend that process. They will show you to mattresses that fit your type well and let you try those out. And I can vouch for the system they use. Everyone is different so it's definitely worth it. As for the price, I don't remember, but honestly, the price shouldn't matter if you're getting something like a mattress. You are going to sleep on it almost every single night for years of your life. You don't go cheap on that, especially because going cheap on that could lead to you having to not go so cheap on medical help for issues that a bad mattress could cause, such as back issues. It's a serious investment. I do remember it being pretty expensive, but not prohibitively so, and again, it's one of those things that it's very imporant not to go cheap on. I love my mattress and my bed. When the time comes I will come here again.

I put off writing this review for a while because I was actually waiting for ALL of my furniture to…read morebe delivered. That's because the couch set we wanted (which is f**king lovely, btw) was on backorder for 6 weeks. Still, it was totally worth the wait! This triple level furniture store is jam packed with just about everything one needs to decorate their house with the finest upholstery, bedding, tables, chairs, etc that money can buy. And before you ask, yes....they have elevators. The funny thing is when we walked in, initially looking for a new living room couch set, we ended up also finding arguably the best kitchen dining set we've ever seen. At least, for us. All in all, we ended up spending like 4 grand, but it was worth it. The staff were also very accommodating and friendly. They didn't have us pay for everything all at once either, since each set had to be delivered on separate occasions. Basically, we just paid for the stuff as it was being delivered. Actually though, the prices seem fair enough. If you have old furniture for them to take away, they charge an additional fee for that based on the number of pieces that need to go. There is, however, one admonition about this that still irks the shit out of me.. It seems that either, a.) The management isn't telling their movers that old furniture needs to be extracted from the home prior to the delivery taking place. Or, b.) The movers are really lazy and apparently don't want to take ANYONE'S old stuff. So, they enter in with the mentality of, "No, we're not taking that"...until you point out to them that they are literally being PAID to remove the old furniture. After a bit of back-n-forth, they'll eventually (reluctantly?) do it. Just be firm, keep all your receipts, and it should go just fine. None of this is really a deal breaker for me, but it's just annoying. I mean, is it THAT foreign of a concept that customers will want their old furniture removed? Because I'm fairly certain that upgrading furniture is a pretty common thing amongst consumers. I....I just don't understand why any mover would take issue with this, so long as they are being monetarily compensated. I had two separate deliveries, as mentioned. And BOTH times, with two different moving teams, they initially went in with the belief that they were not removing any old furniture. It's just weird and I'm not quite sure if it's a breakdown in communication with their bosses, or just sheer laziness. One guy even grunted as he was moving a small piece of the couch, which....wasn't all that heavy. Despite all that nonsense, what matters most is the furniture itself and the store's selection. Both are on point. I highly recommend this place as a go-to for your furniture needs, along with the aforementioned caveats to all present and future customers. Bernie & Phyl's receives 4 fully reclining couch sets complete with USB chargers and LED lights out of 5.

They do take credit cards but charge an extra % so we paid by check so no problem. The fridge came damaged and then took a while to get a replacment which was a bit of a pain due to supply issues but they communicated with us and we finally got the kitchen of our dreams completed! At the end, Victor gave us a nice gift, which was so nice and appreciated! I can not recamend Moderno enough! Excellent products and customer service!

I couldn't locate anyone to assist me on the sales floor unfortunately so I just walked around to view prices and find what little coffee tables they did have. After about 15 minutes a sales person finally found me and tried to help but they didn't know much about their inventory. The clearance prices seemed a bit high to me and without getting assistance soon enough, it was hard to tell if prices were actual prices or an additional percentage would be taken off. I think the store is going through a rebrand and new management so there are probably some things they are still working out.
