They will show you to mattresses that fit your type well and let you try those out. And I can vouch for the system they use. Everyone is different so it's definitely worth it. As for the price, I don't remember, but honestly, the price shouldn't matter if you're getting something like a mattress. You are going to sleep on it almost every single night for years of your life. You don't go cheap on that, especially because going cheap on that could lead to you having to not go so cheap on medical help for issues that a bad mattress could cause, such as back issues. It's a serious investment. I do remember it being pretty expensive, but not prohibitively so, and again, it's one of those things that it's very imporant not to go cheap on. We got the bed home, assembled it but the supporting sideboard cracked in half when my son (not obese, about 180 pounds) sat down on it. I contacted Brian at New Hampshire Furniture Direct and he apologized, said they had not had any problems with this manufacturer and he would have them send a replacement. No questions asked. The replacement arrived two days later. When replacing it I discovered a large chip had been gouged out of the footboard that I hadn't originally noticed. I contacted Brian and again he promised a replacement would be on its way. No questions asked. It arrived, our bed is good as new and there have been no problems since. I so appreciate their willingness to stand behind what they sell.

Upon receipt of their purchased items, many consumers report the items are incorrect and differ in brand or model. Additional allegations state the merchandise sold is of poor quality and requires multiple repairs and replacements, also used items are often sold as new. When contacted regarding these concerns, consumers allege the company attempts to charge an additional fee to deliver the correct items. Complainants also report that the company has failed to honor their 120-day guarantee, preventing exchanges or refunds within the allotted time frame. To date, Mattress Firm has responded to all complaints forwarded by our office.

I was greeted by Mark's mother who was very polite, not pushy at all, and encouraged me to hop on the display models and see how the beds felt. The prices were reasonable and I got a great deal on the bed I bought. My next purchase from Mark's was a sofa and love seat. I had these delivered and Mark scheduled the delivery outside of his usual delivery times to accommodate my work schedule. The guys who delivered them were prompt and didn't give any indication that they disliked the later-than-usual delivery. That's because the couch set we wanted (which is f**king lovely, btw) was on backorder for 6 weeks. Still, it was totally worth the wait! This triple level furniture store is jam packed with just about everything one needs to decorate their house with the finest upholstery, bedding, tables, chairs, etc that money can buy. And before you ask, yes....they have elevators. The funny thing is when we walked in, initially looking for a new living room couch set, we ended up also finding arguably the best kitchen dining set we've ever seen. At least, for us. All in all, we ended up spending like 4 grand, but it was worth it. The staff were also very accommodating and friendly. They didn't have us pay for everything all at once either, since each set had to be delivered on separate occasions. Basically, we just paid for the stuff as it was being delivered. Actually though, the prices seem fair enough. If you have old furniture for them to take away, they charge an additional fee for that based on the number of pieces that need to go. There is, however, one admonition about this that still irks the shit out of me.. It seems that either, a.) The management isn't telling their movers that old furniture needs to be extracted from the home prior to the delivery taking place. Or, b.) The movers are really lazy and apparently don't want to take ANYONE'S old stuff. So, they enter in with the mentality of, "No, we're not taking that"...until you point out to them that they are literally being PAID to remove the old furniture. After a bit of back-n-forth, they'll eventually (reluctantly?) do it. Just be firm, keep all your receipts, and it should go just fine. None of this is really a deal breaker for me, but it's just annoying. I mean, is it THAT foreign of a concept that customers will want their old furniture removed? Because I'm fairly certain that upgrading furniture is a pretty common thing amongst consumers. I....I just don't understand why any mover would take issue with this, so long as they are being monetarily compensated. I had two separate deliveries, as mentioned. And BOTH times, with two different moving teams, they initially went in with the belief that they were not removing any old furniture. It's just weird and I'm not quite sure if it's a breakdown in communication with their bosses, or just sheer laziness. One guy even grunted as he was moving a small piece of the couch, which....wasn't all that heavy. Despite all that nonsense, what matters most is the furniture itself and the store's selection. Both are on point. I highly recommend this place as a go-to for your furniture needs, along with the aforementioned caveats to all present and future customers. And while fridges were extremely back ordered due to the pandemic, Hudson Appliance was really communicative about what was going on, how long we would probably have to wait, and gave us the option to get a refund at any point.
