Wanted to add another shed so we thought we would check out Post Woodworking…read more We had a good idea what we wanted and went there to talk to them. They ask you what you are looking for and started a design so you can see what the shed will look like. I know I wanted a big shed,14X22 and a ton of big insulated windows as I wanted to winterize it. At the end of the design we had a shed that we were VERY happy with. We ordered it and it ONLY took approx 3 weeks to be delivered! They brought it out to the house on a trailer. It was partially assembled and took no time to build...It was exactly what I asked for and VERY HI QUALITY. These people are 100% professional emailing us all along the way. We even wanted a specific size window and found some at Cyr Lumber. The salesman at Post Woodworking went a looked at them to let us know if they would work, and then we bought them and had delivered to Post. We shopped at two places, one in Methuen Mass and also at Reeds Ferry in Hudson NH and noticed the quality of the build and materials used were not as good as Post Woodworking! We could not be happier.

After…read moreuncovering a 100ft granite ledge we knew it wasn't going to be a 'square pool', or an easy back yard to work with. But we knew in the end we would have a one of a kind area. After multiple meetings with Reeds Ferry (whom were only a mere 3 miles down the road) we knew it would be an arduous company to work with, overpriced and lacking the quality we we were looking for. It took one meeting with Karen in their office to realize the passion and ability to be able to put a 'square peg, in a round hole'. We had a lot of special asks, all we heard was; "yes, we can do that".... Easy to do business with and would do business with again!

They screwed up my order showed up almost 2 hours past the time frame and they missed part of my order. When I questioned the driver about it he gave me attitude and at this point I was pretty pissed off because I was waiting for them to show so I could go take lunch and this jerk off gave me an attitude over it. I said listen I was just asking a question and he snarkily replied I was just answering! At this point I admittedly snapped and said you know what just don't, I did shout a bunch of curses at him as well when he started being a total jerk because I was pissed off at something and I was trying to tell him to stop so I wouldn't snap but the little prick wouldn't listen. So I got pissed off got in my car and drove down here and got the damn thing myself. If you guys can't do your job then I suppose I'll do it for you. Total piss poor customer service and the worst experience I have ever had from a lumber yard. I am truly disappointed because I figured this would be a great new source as a lumber yard but I will never use one of these locations ever again regardless of the town they are in they have permanently lost me as a customer and they can honestly go screw. When I called in initially to be like hey you know my time frame is almost up where's my delivery the woman who answered the phone acted like I was greatly inconveniencing her on a 2 minute and 30 second call. So sorry I interrupted you standing at the cash register playing with yourself all day, freaking please! If I manage this place I would be deeply ashamed and greatly pissed off at the behavior between my customer service reps, and the jerk who delivered my items. So much for professionalism!

This is my second experience with Dean's Carpet One in Manchester and I'll likely come back in the future when I replace the 2 other rooms in my house. They have a large selection of carpeting with experienced salespeople who can assist in selection by assessing your needs. I originally went in to look at hardwood (which they also sell) but my budget took me to carpet and I couldn't be happier with our selection. The pricing is reasonable, they have a wide range of pricing options, and they often have 12 month (or higher) financing available through a 0% credit card promotion. A recent promotion for 18 month financing prompted me to jump at my second room. The installers have been excellent in both circumstances. Very friendly, courteous and professional. They represent the company positively, performed the install with great care, and cleaned everything VERY well. They made sure I was satisfied before leaving. I feel that a company can be reasonably judged on how they handle conflict and I feel that Dean's does the right thing for their customers from my recent experience. I got an e-mail and mailer about a memorial day sale so drove an hour to get there and they were closed on the days of the sale. When I called after, Russell informed me of a miscommunication from corporate (they didn't know the sale was being advertised) and honored the pricing and financing rate for me. I knew what I wanted so did the entire balance of the transaction over the phone.
