Wanted to add another shed so we thought we would check out Post Woodworking. We had a good idea what we wanted and went there to talk to them. They ask you what you are looking for and started a design so you can see what the shed will look like. I know I wanted a big shed,14X22 and a ton of big insulated windows as I wanted to winterize it. At the end of the design we had a shed that we were VERY happy with. We ordered it and it ONLY took approx 3 weeks to be delivered! They brought it out to the house on a trailer. It was partially assembled and took no time to build...It was exactly what I asked for and VERY HI QUALITY. These people are 100% professional emailing us all along the way. We even wanted a specific size window and found some at Cyr Lumber. The salesman at Post Woodworking went a looked at them to let us know if they would work, and then we bought them and had delivered to Post. We shopped at two places, one in Methuen Mass and also at Reeds Ferry in Hudson NH and noticed the quality of the build and materials used were not as good as Post Woodworking! We built our home 10yrs ago and after quickly settling in decided to build a pool. After uncovering a 100ft granite ledge we knew it wasn't going to be a 'square pool', or an easy back yard to work with. But we knew in the end we would have a one of a kind area. After multiple meetings with Reeds Ferry (whom were only a mere 3 miles down the road) we knew it would be an arduous company to work with, overpriced and lacking the quality we we were looking for. I am in awe of what I witnessed yesterday as the four-man crew installed my shed. In 8 hours' time, they worked like a finely tuned machine and got that building raised. It was fascinating to see how well they worked together, each knowing exactly what his job was. If they ran into any problems, I sure didn't know about it because the whole process looked so smooth. Aside from that, the guys were friendly and polite and cleaned up after themselves. Can't really ask for more than that. Before I met the crew, though, I worked with Tiffany, who is just fantastic. An excellent and timely communicator (a rarity in this day and age), Tiffany answered all my (many) questions and really just made this whole process unfold without a hitch. My wife and I recently bought, and had installed, a shed from Post Woodworking. The sole purpose of the shed was to store an extremely expensive basketball shooting machine (6k refurbished) at the edge of our backyard court. While designing the court I chose a double door measuring 78" tall (the tallest available), with a three foot cedar ramp leading down to the court. The basketball machine measures 77" tall and weighs 385 lbs - on wheels. I assumed that - as is standard with any door frame - I would lose 1/4 - 1/2 " from the header. I was extremely unhappy when I saw that the builders / assemblers had set the header so low that the door lost a full 2" of clearance. This is so far outside the accepted practice that it's ridiculous. When I called the company I was told that it was code and that I was out of luck. As a retired tradesman myself I know this is not true. Yes, the 2"x8" headers are code, but there is no code preventing the headers from sitting an inch higher. I guess since the check has cleared, I'm off their good list. I would not recommend the company to anyone. The simple fact is that I payed for 78" doors and I received 76" of clearance. At no point in the design process was I informed that their construction method would reduce the practical clearance of a 78" door to 76". Our house is near the ocean and doesn't have a basement, but it does have a junk room. I'd really be much happier if it were just a room, minus the junk. We have a small yard with a bit of space in an awkward place that we can't do much with, so it seemed like a good idea to get a shed. Being near the ocean though, a cheapo shed seemed ill-advised as the weather here can get a bit interesting. After some Googling on a Saturday afternoon, we found Post Woodworking and we took a tour of their showroom (show yard?) up in NH and saw first-hand that these sheds are high quality. What's great about Post is you're able to pick and customize your shed to your needs. So, say you need hurricane clips and anchor bolts because the last storm blew part of your neighbor's roof off (true story), you can add that in. My logic: if your stuff is worth holding on to and store, it's probably worth picking out something to put it in that won't go out like Dorothy's House in the Wizard of Oz. Today, a beautiful 8x12 cedar shed arrived in pieces on a truck. Three astonishingly efficient guys put it up in just under two hours. They were professional and took time to check with me and make sure it was in the right place and that everything was up to snuff in terms of what I asked for. They also made sure it was perfectly level. Really, it's perfect all around. Right now, my only regret is that I have to work and can't go hang out in it. The moral of the story? You get what you pay for, and a bit of extra money can mean the difference between a dilapidated eyesore and quality construction. I'll update this review in one year's time after mother nature has her way with it, but right now, I couldn't be happier. read more

We decided to go with Post because they are transparent, good business people and use excellent materials in their design process. Post Woodworking delivered our shed today and I wanted to give both the shed and the employees a review right away. We love the shed - exactly what we ordered! Excellent quality and construction. When we visited their shop we were very impressed with their professional sales staff and attention to detail. After we had agreed on a model, price and delivery date they were in contact several times. They even called once and offered a free upgrade on shingles for a better product that they had started to use. The crew that put it up was so organized and efficient. A three man crew in which everyone knew their role and no one had to be told what to do, although there clearly was a foreman in charge. They sited it and made sure we were happy with the position before they went beyond the base. The entire job took less than three hours and that included removal of an old shed first. Finally, they all walked around several times to be sure they had everything cleaned up and the foreman checked with us to be sure we were satisfied. We couldn't be happier! BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY. Everything was terrific at the beginning and one of the woman was the reason I ultimately selected this company over Reed Ferry. Huge huge mistake. The shed was installed on site and quickly. I paid them their balance but had to leave the site before its completion so the next day I discovered snow about a foot into the shed on the side door, the double glass doors so loose when closed that they wouldn't sit against the frame, one of the two windows was pushed off the track and insert so tightly that it was not possible to get the window in the frame and there were such large gaps at both doors and windows that you can see outside. We paid for a very expensive light up cupola and weathervane that when installed I asked the installer if they would be putting the wire into the shed for installation and I was told no but that all they had to do was drill a hole directly in the center of the inside shed and fish the wires through. Our electrician thought that was very odd but did as instructed. When drilling water that had accumulated under the cupola came down into the shed because the cupola did not have roof capping shingles under it they ended before the cupola so water rolled towards the cupola and without flashing or at least a sealing water will continue to come in under the cupola and impact wiring in the cupola. THE COMPANY RESPONSE AFTER DOING WHAT THEY INSTRUCTED IS THAT THE CUPOLA IS DECORATIVE ONLY AND NOW THE INTEGRITY OF THE ROOF HAS BEEN DAMAGED BY THE WIRE THEY SOLD FOR THE LIGHT UP CUPOLA. VERY FALSE ADVERTISING AND NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR POOR QUALITY INSTALL AND PRODUCT. Before the cupola was wired pictures were sent on all items noted and the same sales woman indicated that the pictures were reviewed and nothing was wrong. A person was sent out to correct the window and I was told for a charge they could come out and flash/seal the cupola. For just under $25,000 much more was expected since our two other smaller not fancy sheds at a quarter of the cost have roofs that don't leak and no outside light shining in. So today,following my previous review I had customer support (Karen) contact me. They dispatched help to fix the jammed doors and I had the pleasure of meeting Tony, a true professional. He worked on the shed for about half an hour, lowered the ramp which was originally installed too high and left the shed in perfect working condition, I'm very grateful. I wish it did not have to take a week for me to get help, but I'm glad they finally owned it and fixed the problem. 4 stars for overall experience. 5 for quality. We purchased a 10x12 cedar shed during the tax free discount program in August 2014. My hubby seems to accumulate stuff in garage so it was time to boot "stuff" to a shed. There seems to be discounts on/off during the year so sign up for emails or check website. We were not sure of best location in backyard so I made appt and Sales guy came out and walked properly and looked at "stuff" in garage to help us decided on size and style. We went with largest that didn't involve permits or extra taxes. So yes... Call your town to ensure you don't need permit or incur extra taxes due to additional structure in property. Sales guy was great and steered us away from "extras" that weren't value added and got a free extra window thrown in. Takes check or credit card. Set up day... 2 Guys came with large flat bed and pre fab parts. It was up in less than 3 hours. Solid construction. Didn't leave a mess. Hubby loves it.The builder guys were "rough" and not exactly customer friendly. I was skeptical but really great solid shed was set up. Only not 5 stars for not built to spec. 1 Window had shutters vs framing and one trim piece was missing on one side of shed. It took several calls to get someone back to fix over 2 weeks. This was frustrating! Post: Do it right the first time! In your control. For the chunk of cash we put down for a non- Home Depot product, I'd expect things to be done as per the order. Customers shouldn't have to beg for their orders to be accurate. Call your customers back! Overall great product... We saw a few sheds at Home Depot recently similar in price and Post sheds are wayyyy better quality. read more

Let's see, Looks like a really Nice Shed, the Cohasset, but alas we never got past the BS of just trying to order one. My Wife called spoke to Karen, said she's get back to her, never a word, I called and asked if they were taking orders as my wife had called and spoke to someone. What's the name, nothing here, hmmmm, i asked for a quote for the Cohasset , Karen sends it over with an additional $120.00 dollar delivery fee???? I sent it back and said the Website say's, Free Delivery and Set-Up, she states your out of the area, huhhhhh were in Laconia. Long and short of it, the $120.00 isn't a BIG deal had they said what Karen responded up front and on the Website, it's not and it's called Lying, as is Lying about not speaking with my Wife. It's to bad, like the shed not the BS, I'll take my 8K and spend it elsewhere and with a reputable company. So, beware Karen sounds like a ditz, looks like a nice shed, but if ordering one is a hassle hate to see buying it and getting it delivered!!! read more

Absolutely one of the best homeowner experiences! Seriously , this company made buying a shed pleasurable. We needed storage in the middle of winter due to damage to our home from hurricane sandy. Rather than a temporary storage unit we decided to get a shed. The choices are endless, but the service reps really helped us narrow down what our needs were. The installers arrived early in the morning and finished building the shed in under two hours. They would have even gone faster if it wasn't for the deep snow drifts that they had to clear out. In July of last year we placed an initial order for a shed. We had the opportunity to talk with Dan, the owner, and after a few questions we were convinced this was the best shed and the best value. As discussed we made some changes to our order in August, all upgrades, and gave our deposit. The order in detail was confirmed by email. It took much longer than originally advised to get a date on the calendar. We had to make a special trip to the lake house to accept delivery. When they finally showed up 4 hours later than expected, the shed was the wrong size. When we called, Karen, the gatekeeper at Post Woodworking, insisted this was our error. Our paperwork says otherwise. They told us it would several more weeks before we could get another shed. That was problematic, but we reluctantly agreed. Despite explaining this was a summer property and we didn't live there, Karen set up several deliveries without contacting us for 7 AM in the morning and we kept having to cancel. No matter how much information we provided, she ignored us. She refused to let us speak to the owner. After over a dozen calls, she was still insisting we had created the problem and she cancelled our order. She refunded our deposit to a credit card we don't even have anymore. Don't do business here, it is too much hassle and the communication is terrible. read more
