I can't say enough good things about how I've been treated by Rodney at Creative Self Storage. I came to Rodney when I was dealing with a sudden and major clean out of my mother's home and needed a storage unit fast. He was kind, extremely thorough, and took the time to make sure I was comfortable with the storage unit. When I had to make a change to my account, Rodney was understanding and compassionate and quickly put my mind at ease. Rodney represents the gold standard for customer service. He is a credit to Creative, and a great example of how to do things the right way. I'll just add that Creative is in a great location, has very accessible units (wide lanes), and is extremely clean - in addition to having an excellent staff. read more

Established in 1999.

Creative Self Storage is locally owned, and not part of a large chain. The company was started in 1999 by two businessmen that saw the need of a facility that brought another level of professionalism to the Brentwood, Exeter area. A place where a person would feel very comfortable leaving their possessions for any length of time. One of the owners has been in the storage business for over 30 years in the Milford, NH area and understands the needs of people who are making a move. Unlike many storage facilities, we have chosen to have a staffed office, 6 days per week.

In this day and age when customer service can sometimes seem like a dying part of doing business, it is alive and well at this storage business. Even more enjoyable about this, is it is perhaps a type of business where one might not think customer service is important. "It's just a garage" comes to mind. My family was recently moving to the Brentwood area. I was involved in business issues, and it was left to my wife to take care of a lot of the issues with moving. She was very nervous about some of this, as I would normally take care of this type of thing. Rodney, the man who I assume runs this business could not have been nicer, or more patient, or more helpful. She was raving about how he helped to calm her down and answer every question she came up with. Other aspects of the move caused her much stress (thus causing me much stress), so any part that was made easier, was great. We were even sent a Thank You card, which was so ironic because we felt like we were the ones who should be sending a thank you card. My son and I were at the unit a couple weeks ago when it was very hot out, and Rodney brought us both out a bottle of ice cold water, without even being asked. On top of all this, the storage area is pristine. Feels secure. A place we feel good about keeping our belongings. This may be something that can be said about many places, but if you are the type who appreciates a business, who acts like they appreciate your business, this is the place to store your goods. I would give it 6 stars if I could. read more
