Returns & selections ! All good customer service & the line moved quickly and as always great merch

I'd there was a negative star, she'd get it. I went into Marshall's to return some sneakers that were a gift. I didn't have a slip and I lost my ID 2 days ago. The cashier was a doll. I was told I couldn't return without an ID. FINE. So the sweet cashier began ringing my items. The not jolly giant troll named Diana first said one item was marked wrong. Then decided to tell me that all of my tags were wrong! I can see one tag, but 10 items??? Then says "you know what you did". I said "I'm sorry, I didnt do anything, what are you implying" she ignored me. She said the prices were wrong. I'm APPALLED at her behavior and insinuating demeanor. Im here from out of town and Ill definitely be contacting corporate. She is a disgrace to customer service and should not be wotking in retail if she doesnt know how to have tact. read more

Cashiers are rude and difficult. Management seem unexperienced. Over all the customer service will make you think twice about returning here. read more

Awful experience at the store, terrible customer service from Monica. I asked her for help and she blatantly ignored me. At first I thought she didn't hear me, so I spoke up again and then she walked away. Since no one else was nearby, I walked up in front of her and for the third time asked her for some help. The store manager is so rude (Marylynn). Literally brought her a product that was damaged and she answers your at home goods, everything comes to us damaged. This is not staples. "Your telling me this because" and I'm quoting. so embarrassing to be talking to her customers at the register like that. In front of multiple employees. No wonder why most of these reviews are terrible. Because they have a store manager that can't even talk to customers professionally. I will not recommend this location to anyone. They have decent selections but employees seem to be lazy or just don't want to deal with customers. I am just not getting a vibe that people on cash register or people on the floor have any clue on what they are doing. Whenever I ask questions regarding some product, I end up talking to supervisor or manager. I don't get feeling that most of employees know what they are doing. This is not based on a couple of visits, but seem to happen very regularly. Even if I lower my expectations, they manage to go lower. Incredible feat nevertheless. read more

This store has some decent selections, but when it comes to service you need to lower your expectation. One time I was standing on line before checking out and I tried to moved to available register. I was stopped by the cashier since she was talking to male co-workers about her date last night. She said she is not ready to take customer. I saw two other cash registers and very similar situation. Finally, a middle-aged woman opened register and that lady said that most of people in cash registers got scolded by their boss. Well, I can definitely see why. They should stop chatting and texting, and start servicing customers more often. read more

This store makes it difficult to do a return without a receipt- they say "I have to see if it's in the system and come back 5 min later" & then it's 50/50 to get a credit. It's better to go to Acton TJMaxx/ Homegoods where they are pleasant when you make a return. They also don't care if it's from a year ago as long as tags are attached- so a very generous policy. I guess each store is different depending on the manager. It is large and it's nice that it's 2 stores in one space...TJ's also has a better sale selection in 3 different areas of the store. read more

I bought 3 items, but I found the cashier only charged me for 2 items after I went back to home. The item she did not go through is the pillow ( all position sleeper), 19.99 dollar. I helped her to locate the label for scanning and I saw she scanned the item. I put it back to the cart after I got her permission. But she may have mistakenly deleted this item while she deleted one other unwanted item. She put the receipt directly to the bag without asking me where I would like to put it. She should have checked the number of items in the receipt and the number of items I brought for checking out. The pillow is large in the size and can not miss it. Now I have to call the store to see if they are able to add the 19.99 dollar into my bill and save me for a trip. A lot of inconvenience. read more

I always love Marshall's for great deals on clothing, shoes, goods for the house and more. This seems to be a newer store, so it's clean and well organised. Service was good too. I'll definitely go here again and again. read more
