I had an extremely distressing experience at this location while attempting to return an Amazon package. What should have been a simple and quick process turned into one of the most unprofessional and hostile encounters I've ever had at a store. When I politely asked if anyone else could assist with the line (since the cashier was taking an unusually long time with one customer), the employee at the front desk, Alex, responded with rudeness, gave me a dirty look, and then joined the customer at his desk in laughing at me after that customer made a disrespectful remark. When it was finally my turn, instead of professionalism, I was met with hostility. Alex raised his voice at me, pushed my return box so that it nearly fell on me, and told me he would not accept my return. He continued to argue and speak negatively toward me, escalating the situation instead of resolving it. I asked for security to be called and made it clear that I was prepared to call 911 due to how aggressive and unprofessional this employee was being. At this point, the line behind me had grown long, and many other customers were visibly frustrated. Thankfully, the supervisor Renee stepped in. She was calm, professional, and processed my return quickly. However, Alex continued to be disruptive even while she was handling the matter, ignoring her request to step away. This kind of treatment--mocking a customer, refusing service, and acting in a physically and verbally aggressive manner--is completely unacceptable. While I am grateful to Renee for her professionalism, no customer should ever be treated this way. Amazon and Kohl's management need to be aware of how damaging this behavior is to their reputation. Customers deserve respect, fairness, and safety when visiting this store. read more

Giving this location one star because they are constantly moving the Amazon return location further and further away from the entrance. There is also little to no internet reception there so be sure to take a screenshot of your QR code before you start your return. The customer rep for Amazon though is AWESOME!!!! So so patient and very kind and professional. I'll not buy anything just on principle. It's frustrating and stupid. Plus today is 2 Nov and they were playing Christmas music. I went to Kohl's this morning right after they opened, because I needed either a new watch or a battery change. I looked all over the store and couldn't locate the once pleasant display of watches and jewelry, etc. I came to find out that that whole area was replaced by a huge Sephora section. I'm not sure who buys that stuff or why they needed such a big space. The jewelry "department" now consists of about 10 watches on a display. I'm looking for a particular clasp and of course couldn't find what I needed because nobody was there to help. Luckily I was able to have the watch battery replaced in a tried-and-true jewelry store about a mile away. read more

It's sad really. I had 120$ of merch in hand but there were 25-30 people in line ahead of me. Took me a long time to find stuff because most are gigantic sizes like XL or 2X or not in the color you want etc. I put my stuff down and will buy at Amazon. Spend 150 dollars worth of item got a 30 Dollars kohl cash and when I went to returned a 25 dollars worth of item from that 150 dollars and since we did use the 30 dollars kohl cash.. when we return the 25 dollars they subtract 15 dollars from the return! Bigger is not always better, and this Kohl's reflects that in some ways. I believe this is a larger Kohl's, and that is reflected in the inventory, which is pretty well organized. Though I would have appreciated a directory at each entrance to help me find the department I was seeking a bit more quickly. So that's a good thing. Bigger is not better when it applies to prices that are artificially inflated so that your "deep discounts" make it look like you are supposedly saving lots of money. Several articles have come out identifying certain department store chains of doing this regularly (Kohl's is not the worst offender). Unfortunately, the item I was seeking was not priced competitively today, even with the sale and discount, on this particular day. But you can still get good deals if you comparison shop wisely. I did not deal with the staff here today, but the registers were all open, and there were no long waits at any of the checkout lines. Oh, and watch out pulling into the main access road in the parking lot - the LRTA buses go a bit too fast. read more

A Kohls shopper for many years, yesterday was my 1st time at this location. I noticed that the parking lot was nearly full and far from easy to maneuver ...but after a few tries I found a spot. Entering the store this one seemed somewhat different. The locations I've been used to shopping in as soon as you enter you can't but notice how clean they are... It certainly didn't feel that way at this one. It didn't help that I was carrying a return in a cubersom box and stopped by who I will name a pitbull just inside the door. Talk about nasty and rude! She all but accused me of stealing....I was carrying the box INTO the store .. how could I or would I possibly be stealing anything! Outrageous! Before it got even weirder I asked where to go for the return. Now at this point she acted like she wasn't going to answer me.... So, being that I'm not one to just go away & this pitbull had to be younger than one of my daughters ... I asked again. She begrudgingly answered & I went off on my merry way to find the return area. It the back of the store of course. And there was a long line.. the area is marked but people were not 6 ft apart. . I couldn't help but notice that the front end had a lot less people waiting... other locations I've been they WANT to assist a customer and will process a return at the front end...that wasn't about to happen at this one. When I took my place in line it was very upsetting to have to stand for as long as I did with ZERO social distancing. If I didn't need to take this item back, no way would I have stayed there. Where is the management to make sure this is being done? When it was finally my turn I walked to the counter & put the box down. The associate walked off not even bothering to say she would be right back etc.... Nothing! I saw that she left me there to process the person behind me with an amazon return... What? I understand that they take them. But shouldn't a Kohls customer ( this is AT Kohls) - who's waited in line for I can't even tell you how long with ZERO social distancing be processed 1st? It was my turn! Oh, I grew madder and madder waiting. I couldn't wait to get that receipt and just run like hell out of the store.... But then again, guess who was back at the entrance and would probably order a shake down , ha-ha I will NOT go back to this location again. They are NOT following the state mandates. I pray that after being subject to this that I have not been exposed to the virus due to clearly ZERO social distancing. Again, where was management to implement it? Been to several Khols in the area, compared to others this one's layout seems pretty modern. Was pretty organized (as much as it could be with how much products there are) and didn't feel dark like I was in some clothing warehouse. Unfortunately what looked promising turned out to be a pretty bad visit to Khols. The fitting room had several issues - doors locks weren't working and most of the stalls were a complete mess with what I'd assume we're 4-5 people's left over "I don't want clothing" thrown all over the floors and hooks. By the looks of it no attendant had been through in quite some time. When getting to the registers it was miserable. Due to the design of the checkout, the line starts to take over 1/2 of the aisle. With the 6 counters they had at our section only 2 had staff. This resulted in a long line ~20 people that took up the main aisle way of several sections - felt like I was waiting to board a ride at an amusement park. According to people coming to this line it was just as bad as the other. Line took 12 minutes, if I didn't want what I was purchasing I probably would have put it back and walked out. From the looks of it extremely understaffed especially for mid afternoon weekend volume. read more

This location sucks- go to Nashua. The reason the line takes forever is because you are asked 20 questions before you can pay, 10 of which are whether or not you want to sign up for the credit card. Finally asked for a different cashier before she relented and rung me up. Why is it so hard to pay the bill here? Always Dozens of employees roaming the halls, no one at the registers. Should be on one of those "Save My Business" reality shows where a professional comes in to train staff and managers alike. read more

I remember when this was the Chelmsford Mall. And this was Bradley's. I have a few Bad experiences. The store has everything That's on sale and in the fliers. My problem is the selection is small in many areas. Clearance items aren't marked Clearly. Aisles are tight. I feel that they raise the prices right before a sale or holiday. Check out was quick and simple. Cashier (Cindy) was very professional and funny. She was quick and efficient. She was from another department. She was very good at customer relations. We have been coming to this store for years. We had plans to shop at this location for Christmas gifts. When we arrived on the 23rd to do some shopping. The plaza was pitch black from a power outage. It was our only opportunity to shop as we were traveling. So when we asked to use the 30% coupon we had and explained the situation to the cashier. She abruptly refused to use it. Claiming power was back on the 24th. Well I'm sorry if our holiday schedule conflicted with your availability. Disgusting customer service!! First and last time we are treated this way. Came here lastnight 9/29 around 6:30pm to buy new nikes running shoes. Ofcourse, I checked my phone for some coupons and I saw that DSW had the Nike shoes for $3 cheaper. So I went to the Customer Service Desk since there was no other customer in line and ask the cashier if they did a price match. She said I need the flyer to do that. And so I said nevermind you can keep the shoes then. And she said "OK". Not to be ridic. but I worked in retail for 7 years before and I never acted that rude. She didn't even ask me how much the difference was for the price match, or if she wanted the shoes for me. It was more like I was bothering her. I would of still bought the shoes if she was atleast nice about it. But her attitude upset me. I know retail sucks but atleast be a nice person if you're going to work as a customer service. read more

I am one who hates clothes shopping, I'm an odd length in the leg, and always had to find jeans that fit, I'm a 14 petite...the only jeans I found where Sonoma and the crotch was too low, and the cut into my belly...anyway, I went in to Chelmsford Kohl's about 9-9:30, and the woman that was in that section where beyond helpful!! A blonde, and brunette women. Searched high and low to find me 3 pairs of Lee jeans that fit perfect!!! 14 short. I never write reviews, but I am so happy they where there to help me! read more

This store has a lot going for it. It has a good layout and the people who work here are nice. There are plenty of large private changing rooms, and you never have to wait in line to get one. Anytime I have ordered online and picked up or had to exchange something, I always get courteous, efficient customer service. I always look for sales and shop on weeknights when there are less people in the store. One negative I would point out is sometimes I can't find clothes in my size, which leads me to order online. I'm not sure if they just don't replenish the shelves enough, or if there isn't enough space. This might be resolved by putting more workers on the floor. But all in all, I recommend this store. read more
