A Kohls shopper for many years, yesterday was my 1st time at this location. The locations I've been used to shopping in as soon as you enter you can't but notice how clean they are... It certainly didn't feel that way at this one. It didn't help that I was carrying a return in a cubersom box and stopped by who I will name a pitbull just inside the door. Talk about nasty and rude! She all but accused me of stealing....I was carrying the box INTO the store .. how could I or would I possibly be stealing anything! Outrageous! Before it got even weirder I asked where to go for the return. Now at this point she acted like she wasn't going to answer me.... So, being that I'm not one to just go away & this pitbull had to be younger than one of my daughters ... I asked again. She begrudgingly answered & I went off on my merry way to find the return area. It the back of the store of course. And there was a long line.. the area is marked but people were not 6 ft apart. . I couldn't help but notice that the front end had a lot less people waiting... other locations I've been they WANT to assist a customer and will process a return at the front end...that wasn't about to happen at this one. When I took my place in line it was very upsetting to have to stand for as long as I did with ZERO social distancing. If I didn't need to take this item back, no way would I have stayed there. Where is the management to make sure this is being done? When it was finally my turn I walked to the counter & put the box down. The associate walked off not even bothering to say she would be right back etc.... Nothing! I saw that she left me there to process the person behind me with an amazon return... What? I understand that they take them. But shouldn't a Kohls customer ( this is AT Kohls) - who's waited in line for I can't even tell you how long with ZERO social distancing be processed 1st? When I politely asked if anyone else could assist with the line (since the cashier was taking an unusually long time with one customer), the employee at the front desk, Alex, responded with rudeness, gave me a dirty look, and then joined the customer at his desk in laughing at me after that customer made a disrespectful remark. When it was finally my turn, instead of professionalism, I was met with hostility. Alex raised his voice at me, pushed my return box so that it nearly fell on me, and told me he would not accept my return. He continued to argue and speak negatively toward me, escalating the situation instead of resolving it. I asked for security to be called and made it clear that I was prepared to call 911 due to how aggressive and unprofessional this employee was being. At this point, the line behind me had grown long, and many other customers were visibly frustrated. Thankfully, the supervisor Renee stepped in. She was calm, professional, and processed my return quickly. However, Alex continued to be disruptive even while she was handling the matter, ignoring her request to step away. This kind of treatment--mocking a customer, refusing service, and acting in a physically and verbally aggressive manner--is completely unacceptable. While I am grateful to Renee for her professionalism, no customer should ever be treated this way. Amazon and Kohl's management need to be aware of how damaging this behavior is to their reputation. Customers deserve respect, fairness, and safety when visiting this store.

So I said, "We only need to buy one, can we have it at half price then?" He said, "Nah. That doesn't work that way." The price tag was $299. He looked at my husband and handed him a tuxedo jacket to try on. My husband put it on. I said, "Baby....why do you STILL have your sweater on? Take it off please." Sales associate then said to my husband, "Oh no...he looks alright. The jacket looks good on you. Keep the sweater on, man." ??? What the F@$#! So my husband said, "Nope. I gotta listen to my woman. She knows what's best for me." So he took his sweater off, and guess what folks? You guessed it! My husband was practically swimming in that tuxedo jacket! Same sales associate handed him a smaller size and this time it was just the right fit. But my husband and I exchanged this look & we just weren't feeling it with this particular associate. So I told him we wanted to check out other stores in the mall to see other options. So get this, are you ready for this one? He blurted out, "I'll give it to you for $159!" Have we been transported to Canal Street just then? So I couldn't help it and with a smirk on my face, I said, "Wait what? Five minutes ago you wouldn't give it to us for half the price, but NOW you can? Really? I don't get it. Umm....we're still going to check out Macy's and Lord & Taylor first. There were 2 associates working that night and we might've just gotten a bad apple. This place seems alright for young men to shop, especially for prom season.
