The service was terrible .. I rode a lime scooter there in the rain so I was pretty wet and looked a little rough. I was also jamming out with 1 earbud in, as I was walking to get 1 item(bottle of Sunny D) I hear over the intercom" security make your rounds " then look behind me one of the girls was just standing there tapping her foot like waiting on me for something. so i grab my drink started walking to check out, the cashier lady was very rude short and just had a nasty look Upon her face, ... when we wrapped up there she said nothing to me I said well have a nice day ladies again said nothing. I go out side and stand off to the side do I can take a drink before I took off in the rain Again and yet another lady comes flying out the door just staring at me with yet another nasty look upon her face.... I am not a thief I don't steal I don't like people who do.and for some reason the last 3 times at the same location I was left to feel like I did something wrong it was a very uneasy feeling. I understand that the lo atio. The stores at may have ther thieves but don't be so quick to judge. Great selection of items!! I'm not above shopping at the Dollar Tree, especially when so many basic items cost significantly more at regular retail stores. From party glasses to trays and paper towels, it's easy to find everything you're looking for at the absurdly cheap price of $1.25. Is the quality lower than retailers like Walmart/Safeway/Amazon? Sure. But is it decent quality nonetheless? Absolutely. Plus, their disposables are fantastic - I was shocked that I could find wide mouthed champagne glasses and shiny, golden table covers for my Roaring 20s party! Service is fast and friendly, and the crowd was very patient and friendly with each other. I normally never know what to expect at a Dollar Tree, but I felt incredibly safe at this one. My friend I went to the dollar tree. We each had our separate purchases and she was a head of me in line. I was watching the cashier scanning her items and noticed when she had a multiple item, say four items of the same product, she would scan the first item four times and then proceed to scan the three remaining items again. I informed my friend that it appeared the cashier had over charged her. When we got home we itemized her purchases against the receipt and sure enough she was charged for 32 items at a 1.25 per item when in reality she only purchased 24 items. This is blatant thieving on the part of the store. Also, the cashier was not wearing any type of badge or identification. Stealing from an honest shopper is not right. I am almost certain that the cashier has some kind of a counting scheme going and is pocketing her over charges read more

It is now hard to go to a local dollar tree. Despite there being people outside wandering around and us being scared to come in . The CASHIER itself looked like he was on something. I never write bad reviews but stating "thank God my shift is almost over" is crazy. He then came out and smoked while he looked all out of it. I will definitely not be back. Backstory and context - I routinely shop here, always finding what I need for silk floral bouquets, bags, ribbons, fillers and gifts for a group of female-themed gift bags I put together a few times per year for the friends and family in my life. But today, today, this review is an extra shout out, an honest recognition of, the employees of this store - and my appreciation and gratitude because of their kindness! A few hours before my visit to the store, I'd donated blood, had eaten lunch and finished most of a bottle of water. Nothing unusual and as shopping is pretty low key - I thought I'd be fine. As I was finishing checking out... my head started to spin, my stomach sank, my breathing got shallow... the young woman at the counter called and another woman helped me to my car. I have been going to this store for some time. I was disappointed to hear that they supposedly don't bag customers bags that are not bought in store (that moment in time). I came in to address the situation along with helping disabled people out of the store and was told " we cannot bag items in dirty bags, yet you have no gloves on while handling dirty money everyday. Furthermore, how can you tell someone they have a dirty bag if you have not even checked their bag at all. Also, there was no help as far as helping with the disabled in a wheel chair out of the store with the excuse we can't leave the register. Regardless of whether they can leave the register or not is not as important as the lack of care and customer service involving these individuals working around the time of 10am-3pm. read more

If you have to buy anything fragile for weddings or a party do not go here! They are absolutely no help whatsoever, I bought upwards of a hundred glass vases and when I went to check out they wouldn't give me any boxes (even though there was a pile of cardboard upfront) no paper to wrap them in, not even newspaper, i even offered to wrap them myself so as not to take up their time, and still no, the carts can't go outside because of the post on them so you can't even take them to your car, the only thing the offered was to let me BUY a ton of bags to wrap them in! They were also extremely rude about it, and on top of it all they don't allow returns so if one of them breaks trying to transport them, you can't even return it. The most messiest and dirty dollar tree I've visited. My visit to this store used to be and least twice a week because it was the closest one to home but now I would rather drive 20 mins to another dollar tree that is clean and well stocked. Yes, it's cheap. And yes, it's a disaster inside and out. However, it serves its purpose. I prefer Daiso for this sort of thing but not wanting to drive to Alderwood Mall keeps me stopping here for certain things. Namely holiday items. It's also a great place to pick up anything that will end up in the recycling; wrapping paper, gift bags, bows, balloons, and cards are excellent examples of inexpensive fleeting items to buy here. Other minor home decorating items like candles, vases, and glass marbles to seat your makeup brushes are also great scores to pick up here instead of at the craft store. Small storage bins for the refrigerator or closets are smart buys too. You do have to pick through quite a bit of chaos shopping here, both from the overflowing narrow isles and also the interesting variety of customers Dollar Tree attracts here. Overall it's usually worth it to save a little cash and if you know what you're looking for you can be in and out in around five minutes. read more

I come into dollar trees all the time, because during the holidays where else can you find cute cups and pot holders for such a great low price??? After doing some Halloween shopping, my partner and I go into Dollar Tree, and pick up about three items. May I say, this is the dirtiest store I have ever seen in my life. I honestly wish that I would have taken photos. There was trash all over the store, and no customer there was too shy to bring it up. Literally, I'm not exaggerating when I say that I wouldn't be surprised if this dump was infested with rats. Anyways, we come up to the register.... The line is all the way to the back of the store, there is a teenage associate sitting on her phone at a register ("on break") and another one in the back stocking. The only associate actually working is a blonde lady name Erin. When we finally get to the register, a literal 15 minutes later, I slide my debit card and accidentally put the wrong pin in. (a five second fix.) ERIN looks back at the crowd of people piling in behind us and says, "Sorry guys, we are trying to get you through the line. BLAME HER, ITS HER FAULT, SHE PUT THE WRONG PIN IN." I have EXTREME social anxiety, and honestly I have never been so humiliated in my life at a shop. I stared at her as if the fires of hell burned bright behind my eyes, I only took about five extra seconds, and only purchased three items. She could tell I was insulted, and tried to smooth things over by complimenting my shirt. But I don't care about that. If you humiliate your customers, APOLOGIZE. read more

While this store is small it is just around the corner for us and the perfect supply place. Especially to reward my girls. We come here almost once a week. I like trolling with my toddler for cheap entertainment. Bathtub sponges are always great. I wonder what will we be picking as a reward this week? Who cares let her pick on her own. I bought 4 Sunday Seattle Times papers from this location this morning and since the store policy does not alow customers to go thru the papers to make sure everything is there, I left with them and went home. When I got home me and my wife went thru the newspapers to make sure the inserts were there as listed on couponconnections.com and by the Seattle times. There were NO INSERTS in any of the four newspapers! So as instructed by the store manager in the past, I called the store to report this and ask for a refund. The manager at the time (Johanna) refused to do a refund and would only do an exchange if there were other Seattle Times newspapers left and there none left as I got the last four. Even after I told her what the General manager Bill told me she refused to do a refund and said indirectly that I was lieing about the missing inserts and had to talk to Bill the general manager on Monday and that they didn't have to refund my money even if what I said was true. Moral of the story here, thieves and liars win, the honest and true customers lose! We have been buying Sunday papers here for two years now and never been hassled about a return! BEWARE! read more

This store is located at 4920 Evergreen Way, Everett, 98203 I gave it one star because they were open when I stopped in to shop yesterday with a friend. We each had carts for our items and were going up and down aisles selecting our items. I had more than 25 items in my basket, my friend not so many but we hadn't finished our shopping lists. There were boxes piled in the aisle & my friend was pushing her cart along behind me. I had stopped to read the label on a product when a loud female voice exploded in the aisle, yelling at my friend to get out of the way so she could get through. I heard my friend meekly say she couldn't move because the boxes & my cart were blocking her. I moved forward & my friend left the aisle altogether. It was then I noticed the large bleached blonde woman was not a customer but a store employee. I went to the check-out stand & asked to speak with a manager. The checker had heard the altercation & confirmed that the extremely rude woman is the manager. At that point I left my cart & contents & asked the checker to inform the manager that they have lost a good customer because I will never come back to that store where I have shopped regularly for several years. Thankfully Dollar Stores are plentiful here so we don't have to suffer anyone's rudeness, wrath & anger while we shop. We have options. Thank you! read more
