I love HomeGoods and shop at many of their locations often. I was at H-mart across the street and was delighted to see a HomeGoods across the street. I decided to go in but quickly regretted it. One of the first problems with this location is that they are overrun with inventory. This isn't a large store, so I don't know why they have so much stuff. There isn't enough space in the store to display it all in a safe and neat manner. I used to work retail many moons ago, so seeing unpacked boxes hanging out on the floor, as well as a wall of unpacked cardboard boxes in the lighting section, tells me that their back storage area must also be full. There were also about 5-6 tables outside of the store with tons of stuff on them, all clearance that they were trying to get rid of. The store looks sloppy and unprofessional. It's like the manager and the staff just to give a damn. The shelves are also a mess and the merchandise was sloppily hanging on the shelves. There was one aisle that had pillows on the floor. There were so many that they were blocking the way. You couldn't get through without stepping on them or tripping. Are they trying to get sued??? Honestly, there was just shit everywhere in and out of boxes. Even if this was just a bad and busy day, I will never come back. The location in Queen Anne on Armory is much nicer and better run. If you want a nice shopping experience where you aren't at risk of injury due to store items on the floor, don't shop here.

She didn't say a single word, didn't make eye contact, and immediately waved the next customer forward--completely ignoring me. Her behavior was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. There are no Hallmark shops in Seattle! None. So when I wanted to find a large selection of…read moregreeting cards, I went to Trudy's Hallmark in Edmonds/Lynnwood. It had been years since I'd been in a Hallmark shop, but this place gave me all the good vibes I remember from my childhood and young adulthood. Loved the large selection of cards and the decent variety of prices for cards. I bought five cards that day and checked off all that I needed for my summer birthdays list. Enjoyed looking at the gifts and trinkets throughout the store, even the cheesy ones. The cashier that helped me was super nice and friendly. I'm so used to getting bad or mid customer service, that his kind and thorough service surprised me. I signed up for the free Crown Rewards program with his help and was psyched about the $5 off coupon that comes with it (sent later so you can use it with your next purchase) along with all the other perks. I will definitely be back to Trudy's Hallmark shop later this summer to stock up on all the cards I need for this fall. Already looking forward to it!

Hallmark is a good place to buy cards and trinkets. Also if you are into unique Christmas ornaments, this is your place. Their famous ornament club is still going pretty strong, so strong they raised prices often, with tariffs, the pricing this year is unattainable at least as far as I am concerned. For example, a standard size Disney licensed ornament for 30 dollars. Recently, I saw they are selling fake Labubu in the store for 15 dollars. I was super bewildered, and surprised. When is it ok to sell counterfeits under day light in this country? Fake labubu's next to your Jesus and religious products? I think Hallmark corporate really needs to reconsider this decision. I would give a higher rating, but this Lafufu thing is very weird in my opinions

However, I go regularly to return online purchases, and the service is always impeccable and kind. With my latest return today, she actually thanked me for bringing back the merchandise because they have been selling out that style. I find her gracious and professional. LOFT changed online returns to be digital only via a phone size device, no paper receipt. I received email acknowledgement in about three minutes. I asked the saleslady to verify they were all that amount. She affirmed yes! My daughter tried one on and loved it. She went to pay and the salesperson said it wasn't a Loft brand and it was $398.00. WHAT? At the Loft??? My daughter was so disappointed. She mentioned it was on the $39.00 rack. There was no - I am sorry or any sympathy. I was shocked. Then my other daughter in the dressing room heard the other salesgirl talking very unkindly about me to the salesperson. It was a 50% off your entire purchase day and I asked if that was including sales. She was mimicking me and saying I was trying to get the 39.00 dresses for $20. I wasn't talking about that rack but the sales rack. I had my granddaughters with me too. I was embarrassed by the way we were treated. I am a huge Loft buyer - personally and for gifts but I am rethinking my loyalties. There are way too many other stores to shop at. This was on you / mark your racks correctly and if you make a mistake offer condoles. Also, don't talk unkindly about customers in the dressing rooms - someone may be listening.
