    Dollar Tree in Dinuba

First impression: pretty clean for a dollar store. Not sure that "high class dollar store" has any functional meaning, but the place is clean enough to eat off of. I approve. If you need glow-sticks or pop-rocks, this is place for it.

There was no visible sign on doors but he referred me to a sign that was hand written in marker and taped very raggedy onto the door. It was raining and I wasn't about to leave my dog in my car alone or my little girl outside in the cold rain with our dog who by the way was not being disruptive or untrained. She's a small chihuahua we had in arms not running around. I've got to say, the worker "Jose" was much more professional letting me know there were no signs and it should be allowed as long as I'm not letting her run around on the floor. Now, once they remodeled the entire store and made a grand reopening I decided to test out my luck with this store by giving it a second chance after not stepping foot in here for about two months...I was not blown away with their new organization. It just made things sort of difficult for me to find without having to walk or run back and forth. Overall, the fact that I have not seen the employee David has made me comfortable shopping here once again. As always I enjoy the welcoming from the respectful employee Jose and even saw new employees that were very professional and sweet such as Maritza and a gentleman that I am unable to remember their names. I now shop here with a bit of comfort. UPDATE 07/08/19: employee David is back and making things uncomfortable once again. There's signs posting "take additional 50% off marked price" signs where I grabbed various items, none of which were further discounted. Before paying I asked a separate employee what the actual price should be after the signs indicating an ADDITIONAL 50% off and she agreed it would come out to $6 but David once again saying "no, he knows there's more items that have not yet been discounted but some that already were-and how this particular item already was", then proceeds to ask me to buy cookies. Not professional and unorganized, also not taking into consideration that I advise he take down the signs if there's no ADDITIONAL discount. He didn't consider or help out in any way, just a pansy scam to make the store more money and very unprofessional how there's items he KNOWS that already have the discount and items that once again "HE KNOWS" do not yet have the discount. Why mix and why lead buyers to thinking everything is not yet discounted that's like him trying to make an extra commission for being unprepared or unorganized by not taking the signs down and just changing the prices to what they should be all at once instead of procrastinating and not doing the same for all the items on that shelf. He should really be sent to another chain store or retrained. Moving my three stars to one, i would give none if I could.

Upon walking in I was asked to leave because of my dog. I explained and asked about the other lady having privileges to have her dog in without even having proof of her dog being a guide dog or anything. Her dog was a poodle, way bigger than my dog in size and loose in the store smelling everything in sight. How would anyone be able to measure their dogs harnesses if that's what they were going to buy?, how would one buy anything for their pets requiring a measurement if the manager is rude and seemed almost racist at the fact that the lady was allowed and welcomed in while I was asked to leave without even having a chance to buy a single item for my dog. Worst place, rude, and managers seem to have an attitude. Won't be going there ever again. I'd rather drive a few miles to go to dollar tree in Reedley.
