You know, my mother and I have been coming to this store for nearly a year now and to be honest, it seems like they are just hiring people for the sake of hiring. It was nice to go to a store that had great prices, great selection, excellent service and quality. After tonight I have serious doubts. It's difficult when you have disabilities and it's difficult to walk, let alone carry bags out to your car and not one store employee willing to help. The selection is not as good as it used to be. Lately it seems like they are only getting in certain items or brands. They also have a lot of damaged items on the shelf. That was nothing compared to the foul tempered young man who was at the cash register. He kept asking if we wanted a bag... I said at least twice that we would need a few bags. Instead of the reusable bags that are supposed to be offered, we were given 2 large regular store bags, and this young man stuffed a lot of heavy items in one of them, so I said that he needed to double the bag or take some items out and use a third bag. He said that it was store policy that he could not double bag.... Excuse me? What store says that they won't double bag a heavy bag? Oh and the icing on the cake? We asked if we could take the basket out to our car? He said no, so then we asked for a little help with our bags.... his words : It's not my thing. WTF..... Seriously? Then why the hell you working in a grocery store? This location may be closest to home, but it's not the better option.... I'll drive the 25 minutes to get to the next closest one, which is much nicer and the employees treat you with respect. read more
