The WORST Ross experience I've had. First off I'd like to thank all the LADIES that worked this opening. Regardless of the rude crowd, y'all were persistently making it work the best you could!!! However the boys were clueless. Most of my visit was to be expected seeing as it was opening, however after having to fuss with many of the security tags the cashier missed a small bag including a perfume and glasses - totally understandable I got a bunch of rugs and blankets so I can see how it was overlooked. I thought they were under the blankets until I checked in my car (away from the crowd) before heading back to Fresno.... BIG MISTAKE!! Go back in and talk to loss prevention with my receipt calmly explaining the situation, asking what I need to do - but truly in situations like this because it's within a couple minutes the cashier usually recognizes you, knows what happened, and gives you your things. Nah this boy is rude ass hell, telling me I need to lug everything back (not what I wanna hear when I'm cramping bad, but understandable), I turned around and this boy is still talking mess behind me making it clear he thinks doesn't think he's gonna see me again because I'm trynna pull a fast one (nah it's just hot, I have a dog I loaded into the car, cramps, but there's 40+ dollars of product I payed for still in store) lenme grab the stuff like you said and I'll be back. Grab the stuff and am in less than 3 minutes and when I get back to him, he looked at me lost as hell (which is weird because from the sounds of it he talked shit to the manager about me). Finally the manager is kinda helping, but is equally lost as in explaining - when he finally gets the receipt the cashier sees me and starts waving with the bag. The manger goes, "Oh! Okay, here! Sorry about that," in the most passive tone. I just asked, "If I have my receipt and the cashier realized what happened and saw me, why did I need to lug everything back here?" especially because they only took one blanket out. He goes, "I don't know, you didn't have to" kinda trying to throw the other guy under the bus. If it's policy, just say so, but this is what I mean when I say the men were LOST!! Someone had to call the police because they were over the fire code limit before we came and it's been a while mess. Again, I get that it's opening, but the men are not doing a damn thing besides looking lost as hell...
TLDR: The same way you want customers to be patient with you guys, management needs to be patient with the customers. Had he took even 1 minute to actively listen to the issue, we coulda saved us both a few more minutes and the headache. read more
