Honestly- it would be more beneficial for them if they had a tiered pricing system. Because $9 for a party banner (something I can get for $1.25 from dollar tree) is not worth it! They'd probably sell more & less things would end up in the landfill, going to waste, if they could implement a new pricing system.

I would've bought a couple more items I saw but unfortunately it was a tad too pricy for the logical side of my wallet. I've worked in retail before and I can tell the difference between a good buy and a steep one-- that made a sharp turn at Overrated Ave. But hey-- if you don't mind shelling out some extra green to have something in your wardrobe that no one else will probably have then I say go for it! That's actually how I felt about this poly 1970's crazy ass looking shirt. I seriously doubt I'll find anyone else wearing this same exact shirt-- unless I find someone from the 70's jet back to this century in a time machine. You never know. I will point out one interesting detail when I got this poly rarity home. I noticed when I turned the shirt inside out for a wash, I saw a different color stitching on the inside of the collar that didn't match the rest of the original stitching. This indicates that this shirt was indeed repaired, which I can appreciate but it would've been nice to have it stitched the same color so that it appeared as if no repair was done to it-- BUT no biggie. The stitch job was a decent one and I guess that's what counts. My hope is that this vintage find will hold up for a few handful of wears-- maybe about 10 and I'll be a happy duck. Have you ever walked into a grocery store, outside of a national emergency, and found the entire…read morefreezer section completely empty? Walk into the Northfield Target on any given day and that's the gamble you're taking. I shop at both Northfield and Glendale pretty regularly, and for whatever reason Northfield just does not run like Glendale. The freezers being mostly empty isn't some weird one-time thing. It happens all the time. There are also multiple products Target says this store carries, and usually even shows as "in stock," that I've tried to buy over and over and have literally never even seen on the shelf (and the Shipt drivers cannot find either). I've gotten to the point where I don't really trust the inventory in the app for this location anymore. So Sunday I figured I'd call before driving over to see if they actually had any frozen food. Apparently that's not an option either. I called eight times between 5:58 and 6:12 PM. Each time I let it ring for 1 to 2 minutes until the call eventually disconnected on its own. Nobody answered a single call. I'm attaching the screenshot because eight calls to an open Target in 14 minutes without one person picking up the phone is kind of insane. Order Pickup is the same kind of experience. I've stood in the pickup area for 10+ minutes with nobody there to help while employees are walking around, talking to each other, etc. I understand being short staffed. I understand corporate cutting payroll. What I don't understand is how nobody notices a customer has been standing at Order Pickup for 10 minutes, or a phone has been ringing repeatedly, or that entire sections of grocery are routinely empty. And I'm not expecting every employee to somehow compensate for Target cutting payroll. Leadership still has to run the store with the resources they have, set expectations and hold people accountable. Someone has to answer the phone. Someone has to be paying attention to Order Pickup. Someone has to notice when inventory is this consistently bad. Maybe I sound like a cranky millennial who has been running retail businesses for too long, but I know Target isn't paying people to stand around and chat while multiple customers are standing there looking around, waiting for someone to help them. Being tightly staffed is one thing. Having employees available and nobody stepping in is something else. Let's cross train. Maybe there are things happening behind the scenes that customers don't know about, but after enough visits I genuinely wonder what the leadership issue is at this particular location. Glendale doesn't operate like this, which is why I have a hard time just chalking it up to Target being Target. Why can Glendale manage to run like a Target and Northfield can't?
