Consistently the worst target ever. 1. Their drive up pickups take like 5x longer than any other target to come out. Sometimes around 20 minutes. And the people who bring them out are sooo rude 9/10 times. 2. They are always out of stock of everything, and the food section always has so many empty shelves. So apparently Target wants to start looking like a Bed, Bath & Beyond, cause this place got a total makeover that attempts to up its fanciness to a higher level. But just like BBB, they are going out of their way to practically not be of any service to anyone. The video game department has no one, not a single soul, to even buy the games they had on sale. Not only that, the PS5 and X-Box areas look absolutely deserted in terms of any form of stock, esoecially video games. I have never in my entire life been treated like I was treated today. I frequent this target often. Today I ran in really quick. I needed a few snacks a drink and a pillow. I get my things jump in the self check out line. I scanned all of my items and I placed them in the bagging area. I accidentally knocked my soda off the landing. The bottle bounced like a ball and rolled a little. I looked around. I will mention normally there is the sweetest older guy that works that area most days. I didn't see anyone that I could get to assist me. I paid and I took the soda to swap out really quick ( the soda cooler is right at the entrance of self checkout btw) and I came back and I grabbed my receipt and my items and I went to walk out of self checkout. The young girl whom was leaning on the wall asked me loudly.. did you pay for that. Mind you I have my receipt in my hand. So I thought she was speaking to someone else. She asked again. If I paid for that. I said excuse me. She said well I seen you walking back with the soda. Never once did she ask if she could see my receipt. Never once lowering her voice and asking if she could see my receipt. Just questioning loud enough for everyone to notice. I handed her my receipt. She glanced at it and never once apologized for questioning me whether I paid or not. With a smug expression on her face. I will admit I was embarrassed and then in rage. I went to the customer service counter. I spoke to a very nice lady who did apologize. She offered to get a manager. I just had to go! I was pissed and had somewhere I needed to be. Not sure what I could have done differently to not appear like a soda thief. I looked for help and didn't see her. Or I would have asked her to swap the soda for me. Just the worst. Often shelves are empty. You will see items on pallets but not stocked. I asked an employee when the milk would be stocked and she said it could take days... but she could go get one because they were in the back. She was helpful but why is milk sitting not stocked?? Not sure if they are run by the same management but the Starbucks inside the store told me today they were out of coffee. Coffee? Starbucks? Can they not grab some off of the shelf (at the Target they are inside of)? Probably not because there's nothing on the shelves. read more

Rudest employees ever!! Every time I order pickup at this location the person who brings me order out is always rude. Today the woman who brought out my order didn't greet me, gave me the ugliest look and when she handed me my Starbucks I thanked her and she just walked away no acknowledgement. So this Target isn't as well stocked or organized as some others. The fitting rooms were a mess with tons of clothing on the middle tables and in the fitting rooms. They didn't have the nail polish items I was looking for because my mom requested them. We bought his shorts which were on sale so that was great. The parking is ample and the self checkout meant I didn't interact with any associates. The women's restroom was not in good shape. Needed a cleaning. read more

Wow where do I start? First off I thought I walked in the wrong door because I'd swear I was in a TJ Maxx. I barely saw any staff that could help me and stuff was just laying around and unorganized like a teenager's bedroom. Then we attempted to use the fitting room only to be berated by one of the few employees that was there because we dared to wait on a bench to use one of the rooms. Its clean and well organized but man do they lack physical media. Outdated video games, no music, movies, DVDs, Blue Ray's. Their electronic section is barren and has such a weak selection. No computers, keyboards, computer games, computers anything really. Its weird in the electronic section, I didn't even see TV's anywhere what's up with that. read more

This Target's stock is never updated in the app or when shopping online. It's the closest location to my house, but I've made multiple orders that are updated an hour to 90-minutes later saying the items are out of stock. It's frustrating. Shopping in store is often similar; low-no stock for multiple items. I'm not sure if this is reflective of population density in the area or inaccurate stocking/ordering by staff. This isn't just reflective of the holiday months. read more

Let me start by saying I love target! It is where I prefer to shop but this one has been a letdown. I know there are shortages happening in the US right now but they will be out of regular items for weeks at a time. I'm talking deodorant, pasta, spices etc. But what is making me write this review right now is the poor quality of their produce. For two weeks in a row the baby cucumbers have been rotten and leaking all over the other produce. Things are not being rotated or thrown away. Fresh produce is being placed in front of and on top of old produce. I must've gone through 10 bags of these trying to find some that were remotely fresh. All of them should be in the trash. Not one bag was worth purchasing. I will be going across the way to sprouts for my groceries from now on. read more

This place is a mess! Came for groceries. Meat section empty, milk shelves covered in dryer out leaking milk. Not stocked , Every gallon I saw expired today! Two of them expired over a week ago!! Why does management at this location continue to fail at basics of retail and customer service? The President of the United States declares a state of emergency on 03/15/20... yet, when I went shopping at this Target location, they are understaffed and show no sense of urgency. I understand the shelves are naturally bare in some areas... but here are the regional, store and assistant managers failings. At 9:00 P.M. on 03/15/20, they have two lanes open... two! Even worse, self-check out was closed with workers standing around in the roped off lanes in a daze. When there was a line of 20 in each of the two lanes that were open, I said something to one of the workers... I said you need to get a manager out her to help check these people out!... She was polite, but said, "Were not prepared.".... Two lanes Northfield neighbors! this is poor planning and substandard service. Attention Target management, Sprouts is getting ready to open and I can only hope everyone who lives here vows to chop Target off their grocery list. Am I angry, "Hell, yes I am"... parents with young children and babies had to wait 40 minutes to check out because of bad planning of this stores management. After about thirty minutes in line, they opened the self check out lanes, I told one of the workers in the self check out lines, I wasn't mad at her, but asked "where are your managers hiding?" She just crossed her arms and said, "Sorry, our management doesn't get it." Really? It doesn't show at all... Target needs to get rid of the management here and regroup. Stopped by between meetings looking for a couple of tech items for work and service alone was worth 0 stars. This place recently went through a renovation which means it's bright, clean, and utterly confusing. Eventually I got the hang of it and loved the new lay out. That's worth 2 stars. Now the customer service...I made my way to the tech area and immediately started looking for what I needed- a smart stylus and laptop case. Looking at the app, it said there were a few in stock so I checked the aisle...hmmm, nothing. "Maybe the app isn't updated to the new remodel" I thought, so I went looking for a staff member. 3 were already standing near the tech counter so I made my way over but they couldnt be bothered & evidently found something else to do. So I wandered...and wandered. Finally one of the came by and I asked if they had any stylus. He looks at me and said "this all we got, if you don't see it here maybe look over here" Pointing lackadaisical at a different section nope. Woah! I've never been to a super Target before. This place is enormous! I was able to quickly find all the essentials I needed for our evening at the hotel - a swimsuit for me, swimsuit for my husband, swim diaper for my baby and club soda. Woot! I tried the Target brand of club soda. They have some great flavors you can't find everywhere. I went with Watermelon - delicious!! Only downside - the built in handle broke and led to every leftover can busting open. I've since bought more and had a similar experience. So just a heads up that you should carry with two hands instead of using the provided handle. Lol. read more

What a mess. I was at this location at 8:30 on a Saturday morning. The store had been open for just 90 minutes yet much of the clothing areas were impassable with a cart. There were jumbled piles where you would expect orderly displays. In the children's shoes section there were more shoes on the floor than on the shelves. Hangers were in the walkways. I saw no attempts to restore order. It was difficult to find items that were reportedly in stock. read more

I'm giving Target Northfield 2 Stars because customer service is pathetic. We put in a drive order and 3 items mysteriously were not absolve at drive up but instead were being shipped by FedEx for delivery several days into the future . To my knowledge I never specified anything to be shipped. When calling the store to get an explanation & perhaps an resolution, I could not get through to guest services (Target's customer service) they just do not answer the phone. What otherwise would be an excellent drive up or curb side pick up service was seriously degraded by items mysteriously shipped & totally non existent customer service. I picked up a Lego set with an alarm attached their asset protection comes over and says I have to leave the store because thei alarm was removed . I told him to go review his cameras . Despite the remodel in this store, the Cherry Creek branch is still my favorite. I came here last weekend to do my grocery shop, and I noticed the placement of items was different to other Target locations (this was confusing). I ran around multiple times looking for items and took a long time to find them. Overall not a bad store, just needs to be aligned with the other stores. read more

The lady at the starbucks counter on 2/13/22 around 5pm was extremely rude to me. I don't think I did anything or said anything that would make her react like that. This target is the worst!! Most of the employees are rude and condescending. I walked in, went to the candles and started browsing. A employee came up to me and told me life is meaningless and so are the candles. Later, I was going through some shoes and I had a employee come up and tell me "These shoes are too small, your feet are kinda big". All I said was "oh" because I was so blown away by her rude comment! When I was checking out, the self checkout machine broke so I had to go to a cashier. She said it was my fault I broke the self checkout, even though it wasn't! She and the rest of the staff proceeded to give me dirty looks. I wish I got the cashiers name, but she wasn't wearing a name tag!! Not only are the employees rude, but the store isn't very clean and it smells funky. 0/10. I'm ashamed for this target. read more

Pretty much done with this Target location! First time being rude to me well ok, maybe it's just a bad day. 2nd time...ok it's the holiday season maybe they are a little stressed but today a 3rd time! 1st time was a couple weeks ago. I had a $2.00 off coupon for some laundry detergent I had printed from the "vendor" website. Well I was turned away being told that the coupon was "fake" and that I could take it to another store to see if they would take it. According to their own website printed coupons should be accepted as long as they scan at the store (which it did). There was even a phone number on the coupon to verify it's authentication. Last week went to purchase 3 boxes of Christmas lights. Sign was posted on sale but didn't ring up (I even presented a screenshot I had taken with my phone). I was told they would NOT honor the sale price because "they were the wrong color". Needless to say, I declined the sale and went to another Target where the price WAS honored. Today (12/26), my husband went to return a suitcase that I received for Christmas but didn't like it (only wanted store credit to exchange it). He was told that the product was no longer sold there (even though it's right on their shelf AND it's still sold online!) What the heck! So disappointed with the treatment lately of the Target management/customer service team. Hope this isn't contagious to other stores. read more

I shop at this store sometimes 2x/week and never spend less than $300. The last few times I have been there, there is a woman working there who is blonde, overweight, and wears glasses who works at self checkout. She always watches us and is incredibly rude. Every time it's busy as hell and this woman treats us like 2nd class citizens. We are Indigenous and Chicanos but I didn't want to believe that it was because she's racist. However after today I believe it is because she is a racist. We had my Autistic 5 yo granddaughter absolutely raising Cain, total meltdown. I was also having a low blood sugar moment and with 2 grandkids we were having a rough time. We overheard the blonde woman saying to her coworker: Make sure they don't steal and they need to get control of that kid and make her be quiet." Given that we have dealt with her a few times, I feel compelled to write about it now. I absolutely love Target but I think we will avoid the Northfield store until I know she's not working there anymore as I work hard for my money and won't spend it where I'm not wanted. Its clean, its crisp and slightly over priced (despite the loss leaders) I was treated very poorly by an associate who ignored me and turned her back to me while chatting on the phone and a cashier who dropped my flowers head first out of carelessness and said nothing about the broken head. Managers, team leads, even the Starbucks employees are not it. Starbucks is usually ran by teenagers, expect to get something wrong or off on your order when ordering at this Starbucks, l used to work here, food in the back is always going bad, Employees are lazy and dont don't do what there supposed to, just there for the pay. Starbucks usually leaves food you're supposed to throw away, stocked regardless the due date. When it came to cleaning up the area, no one deep cleans, dishes are not washed with soap because there always out of soap so expect to get your drinks to come out of rinsed products, not properly sanitized. Let's not talk about how the workers at Starbucks don't even know how to make most of the drinks, once you get hired your put to work but no training. This store is mostly ran by teens. Never got anything in stock, always out of certain stuff even tho on the app it shows it's on stock, hey take the chance but this store it's just not it and needs improvement, this is all coming from someone who used to work at this location. Managers are lazy always in there office only there for the pay and don't really push them selfs to make this store a better place to shop.
