This all happened an hour past the delivery window AND left me with my old washer in the middle of my upstairs hallway. THANKS CONNS! Also- the 3rd party contractor they hired to deliver the appliances accidentally broke the front door of my house. The young man begged me not to file a claim because the company would make him pay out of pocket to fix it. This is an exploitative policy to pit customer and delivery person against one another while leaving the company completely out of it. Shrewd business practice? Maybe. Evil? YES. The owner of Black Hound, James Hixson, repeatedly stated he was having difficutly getting payment. We contacted the client directly and were informed that payment had been made months ago... After a small amount of digging around, we have found other clients and subcontractors who have been wronged by James Hixson and Black Hound Design. He has closed his doors and will not return phone calls or emails. PLEASE STAY AWAY!!! He HAS reopened under new business name (Fabit) and I have no doubt will continue his unethical and criminal practices.
