Living in Albuquerque I really like the way the Colorado goodwill are set up. NM does not have any discounts and stores are a bit messy. This was a nice store and got some shorts for $3 that were exactly like the "clearance" ones at Target down the street. With tariffs now, it's a good time to do yourself and the community good. I attempted a treasure search here and discovered they moved any and ALL video games online, and basically privvy to price gouging like every single scalper out there. This went from the top thrift store on my list to the last. I gave it an extra star since the employees are terrific. Problems: Racks - I think all Goodwill stores moved to crammed together circular racks for clothing. This means that when it's even a little busy, moving around is like a slapstick comedy, with people unable to move and comments like "oh sorry - um - let me back up" - "oh! you'll shift into the rack, thanks" or (the ocassional) unkind person just jamming through and cornering other customers. This configuration makes finding certain clothing and sizes a bit like finding Waldo. Dressing rooms - None open. My experience is that you need to try things on, so maybe Goodwill is now catering exclusively to those re-selling items. Some Goodwills have wall mirrors so you can sort of sneak try-on stuff over t-shirts. Not even those are here. Messy racks - During the last visit, many racks had random clothes on them (dresses with men's shirts) and mixed sizes. Dirty - A reusable shopping bag that was for sale fell on the floor. I picked it up to re-hang it since it was in the way of the cashier line and it was covered with ...yuck. I'm thinking custodial work is not done too often. Outside is also looking downtrodden. I do understand that it's been challenging to hire employees everywhere, but maybe Goodwill needs to check in with ARC and see how they keep their stores adequately staffed, their dressing rooms open, and their aisles fairly clear. I'm not sure what it is about this Goodwill, but I always get really lucky finding amazing books and swanky/fun clothing pieces in my size! Sometimes, they have an entire book cart in their book area that's loaded with brand new or close to mint condition books... I loveeee when that happens! Find me digging for gold on these days. The staff has always been very pleasant to me and during this last visit, I walked out with a ton of clothes all under the discounted rate for the day. I was absolutely horrified by the prices of most things here - you can find items here and there that are reasonably priced but everything else is INSANE. Erin L. & Vanessa are probably the most unprofessional & ghetto employees I've ever had the missfortune of interacting with ANYWHERE in life!! It took me a few days to thoroughly process how truly awful the staff behaves, as well as how completely disgusting my experience really was! I had been shopping in the frames & art (right in the front of the store) for a little over a half hour, in perfect view of the employees. When I was finished selecting my purchases & my cart was full (roughly $150-$200 worth of frames, mirrors & art based on the price tags anyway) & I was turning to walk to the register, the rudest employee I've ever met (Erin L.), anywhere, but especially at this store that I patron a couple times a month approaches me. She screams at me "do you have a mask?" I calmly told her I did not, even though I was taken aback by the manner she approached me. She then asked if I could go to the car & get one. I again informed her, that I didn't have a mask, as I previously stated. She told me if I didn't have a mask I needed to leave "cause there's a mask mandate". I told her that was fine, I was done shopping anyway so, I would just pay for my purchases & leave. She runs to the register (roughly 5 feet away from us) & gets on the loud speaker to make an announcement that everyone must be wearing a mask, there's a mask mandate!! I'm the only person in line, I take all the items out of my cart & place them on the counter for her to ring up, so I can pay & leave... All the while Erin L, who also happens to be the manager on duty (great choice there... NOT!) starts getting progressively more & more irrational & yelling about the mask mandate, she got so ridiculous & loud that the rest of the patrons had all stopped to watch the show! At this point I am horribly embarassed & humiliated & I just want her to do her job, instead of yelling at me! I said, "look, I just want to pay for my items so I can leave!" This logic apparently made her come unglued she starts screaming about the mask mandate & there's a sign in the front (said sign btw is NOT on the doors of the store, but rather at the BOTTOM of the sign in the corner of the entrance, that tells you what colors are discounted for the day!) & everyone has to wear one! I said, "if you'd just do your job & ring me up, instead of being a crazy person, I would've already been gone 5 minutes ago!" She says, "you know what I'm not going to ring you up, you can just leave!" Ok, NO! I've now wasted 40-45 minutes in this store, & been humiliated beyond belief, I'm not leaving w/out the stuff I picked out, so I told her "no, ring me up." She gets on the phone w/someone & says I refuse to leave, she then asks if I'll buy a mask. Sure, I'll buy the fuckin mask so I can get my stuff & go! Then she refuses to sell me the mask!! WTF?!?! She goes back & forth "will you buy a mask?", I say yes, she still refuses to sell me one! I'm over it now, I ask her name, she refuses to tell me, I inform her it's on her name tag Erin L. "Shift Supervisor" (should say "shit supervisor", it'd be more accurate!). I ask for corporates number, she tells me she doesn't have it, I ask for the store number, she says she doesn't know it. Are you kidding me??? Now, the thing is the entire time that she's acting a fool about the mask mandate, she's wearing hers below her nose, so basically not even on! I point this out & she says it is on her nose! Well, if that were true, then I wouldn't know she has a pig nose w/a silver hoop nose ring, would I?? But since she only pulled her mask up (which fell right back down below her nose) when I mentioned it, I do know. I said I want corporates number & I know you have it, she comes around the corner, stands right next to me, so close in fact our shoulders are physically touching, & shows me the folder with corporates number. I say, "You're literally standing close enough that you're touching me & you're worried about a mask???!!!" Her response... "I'm not worried about you having COVID, I'm worried about you wearing a mask." You've got to be kidding me!!!! WOW! Just WOW! Anyway, Erin L is a very ugly person, not just because of her face, but because of how nasty of an individual she is! I'm guessing her & Vanessa are just there to work off their community service hours, cause she is NOT employable! Mind blown! read more

I would give no stars if I could. My husband is a frontline worker and accidentally bought a women's scrub top instead of men's. Tags on and brand new but they wouldn't give money back or even exchange it for store credit. He's saving lives out there but they couldn't lift a finger. The employees were rude and Unhelpful. We brought items that the site says they take that were in good condition and the rude gentleman at the drive thru drop off just made up excuses on the spot that they don't accept these items. I was falsly accused of shoplifting at this store, my cashier said, "someone said you didn't have your coat on when you came in", which I did, but had immediatly put it in a cart with my keys and phone in the pockets so I don't have to carry a purse in there. I surely don't need to steal, but shame on anyone who steals from Goodwill. Shame on that rude cashier, she couldn't have been sure, because what she accused me of, NEVER HAPPENED! read more

Friend and I walked in around 1 pm and saw that purple tags were 30% off. Went about shopping and at the register they said purple tags weren't on 30% off. When we told the cashier she scoffed, rolled her eyes and didn't do anything. When I tried asking a question she screamed across the store for the next customer. At the exit we asked the employee why the signed changed midday l, he rolled his eyes, accused us of shoplifting, asked to check our receipt but when i handed it to him he immediately threw it back and said "good" and proceeded to go back to scrolling on his phone, ignoring my friend and I asking questions. 0 stars for shitty employment. Sidewalks outside were covered in feces. Do not recommend this place at all. read more

It's great that the drop off is drive thru under a cover. They usually are prompt in giving a receipt. The quality of the items is pretty high. I love that there's 50% off and 99 cent sales throughout the year. Womens clothing, kids clothing, housewares, pictures, and furniture probably have the most items and the greatest turnover. There is a glass case up front where better items and jewelry is held. The woman who monitors the dressing room needs to calm down the attitude more than a bit, but overall the rest of the employees are pretty friendly and the place is well run. read more

I bought a round table today in hopes to refinish it. I wasn't able to get it in my car until Heather the Supervisor, came to my rescue ! She went out of her way to get the tools to remove the legs and helped carry it to my car. She definitely went beyond her duty and was so friendly and patient. I hope Nina her boss reads this. About a month ago I noticed this location.. It wasn't quite open yet.. So from time to time I d drive by to just check ( the building looked finished on the outside, knew they were probably just putting finishing touches on the inside) and this past Sunday, I found them open for business! Upon walking in, you can't help but notice the Deja Blue nook, housing their most exclusive donations! The store is very new, so perhaps the only thing that I felt it lacked was store character, which will happen over time. The cashier that rang me out was very nice and we had a lovely conversation! I can't wait to go back after everything and all the newness settles down.. I have a good feeling about this store and employees !! read more

Very nice clean organized. Smells fresh and clean. Kept things put away from the dressing room rack. My husband and I bought a bunch of stuff and when we checked out, the cashier was counting items and said if we had more than 12 items (clothes) that it would be 1/2 price. Wow. We had some other items that were new package, that were not part of the deal, but it was more of a deal than we expected. Very happy! read more

Honestly the best goodwill I've ever been too. Not only did I find what I needed instantly, but I found things I didn't know they'd have. This location had two racks of brand new, unused leather belts for $8. They also had clothing on display with mannikins and display racks. This goodwill was well organized with the pant size I needed exactly where it said it would be. Definitely worth the drive to Northeast Denver for this experience read more
