I wish I could give this thrift store ten stars. The prices are realistic for used goods and they always have the books I want for 50 cents a piece. Plus the bag of books for $5 sale will always bring me back. The clothing is about 50/50 in terms of quality but I just bought an Abercrombie sweater there for a dollar, so good deals are available. Home goods are usually at a good deal and are in good condition. Plus the staff rocks. They'll always help with things missing prices and never try to act like their stuff is worth more than it is. I love this place! read more

Great selection and price. I found a few things I was looking for Definitely worth the trip read more

Bag sale is an amazing deal. Thank you for the bargains! It can be hard to find a thrift store that still charges reasonable prices. Employees/volunteers are also very nice and helpful. Had a great thrifting experience. read more

I love shopping here. Everthing is organized and clean. Great prices and everyone is friendly and helpful.

We've spent more time thrifting over the past few months than we have in a long time so we've been checking out various spots everywhere we go. Global Thrift had a few things going for it. It's a pretty large space. They have a lot of people working on Saturdays so if you need help, just ask. Those people are friendly. Plenty of parking in an actual parking lot. Something for everyone. We popped in on a Saturday and they had a bag sale. As much as you could fit in the bag for a flat fee. Well, I did not realize we were talking a small plastic bag so that was my mistake. Check out the bags at the counter before you go crazy. I ended up with three or four bags because they decide what fits instead of you managing to fit what you'd like. Then they told me what a great deal I got over and over when I paid triple what I thought I was about to pay. My mistake. I should have pulled some things out of the pile. But it's for a good cause so I just followed with it. The racks are somewhat sorted by size, but if you have the time, check the other size ranges. I found a lot of misplaced items so you may just find a gem in the wrong spot. Finally, the lighting wasn't great and I ended up with a few things that had serious stains on them. My fault, but worth a mention so you can keep you eyes peeled too. I'd stop by again, but be more aware of what I'm looking for throughout the process. read more

It was my first day here in Denver, and I had searched shops that you must visit while here. Global Thrift was one of the first that it listed. I have to say that I was not disappointed. They are amazing! And the lady who loved classic rock and changed the music, warmed my heart!! I'm glad my trip started off with your store!! read more

Global Thrift - Thrift Stores Near Me - Arvada, Colorado

My husband and I recently relocated to Arvada. We were big thrift shoppers back in Wisconsin. We ABSOLUTELY love this store! Not only do they have a wonderful selection of merchandise (clothes, furniture, toys--you name it), the people who volunteer there are charming, funny and obviously love what they do. We will definitely frequent this place. I found two beautiful tops, a lovely sweater and a super fashionable pair of boots. My hubby found a toy HeiHei, the popular rooster from the movie, Moana. Our grandson will love it!! It's a WIN WIN place. You can find some things that make you happy and you'll become even happier knowing what a great cause you're contributing to. read more

There are items Global Thift does not accept. Nothing about restrictions is listed on their website or anywhere else at this writing. Don't get invalidated trying to be a good samaritan by donating here unless you know their rules. Your efforts will be turned away. read more

This place is a small local owned store but packed with cool things. Great for small furniture, books, clothes, jewelry. They have kid stuff too. Staff is very friendly. They help folks in Africa, so they are worth helping out. Clean store. They have bags you fill with clothes, $7 a bag if you fill it. Fair prices. Some stuff is new. They also have a coffee shop but it's in old town arvada, way south. Both thrift and coffee stores help those in Africa. They fight malaria, etc. Amazing. read more

I loved the selection of items, but I loved the overall contribution to the world. This will be my go to for unique finds. It's fun spending a couple hours going through the treasures, and the fun conversations with the volunteers are a bonus!!!! read more

I absolutely love this place! The staff is so hard working. I especially love the noon selection and the tea cups

I absolutely LOVE this store!! I've been back five times in the past 6 days!!! I love their $8 a bag clothes and have gotten myself and my love a very good amount of clothing for 24$ I mean brand name stuff! I got him some DKNY, Gap, Old Navy, Levi's jeans and I have gotten myself Eddie Bauer, CJ Banks, Old Navy and a few others I can't recall jeans for myself! I lost around 100 lbs after a traumatic incident put me into a 5 week coma but, knowing that I've overcome that obstacle and survived two major brain surgeries and have zero brain damage makes me take NOTHING for granted because we can lose everything in a second. So, I have become wiser about where I spend money and what I buy because I can't work yet as I'm still healing and my guy and I live on his income and honestly I'm extra careful because his money isn't my money to waste so having this amazing thrift store and their amazing clothing deals makes it safe for me to buy bags of clothes and I don't have to feel bad because it's not a bad deal! I lovelovelove how nice the ladies who work here are they're all beyond awesome and super sweet and helpful and I can't say enough how welcoming they really are which helps people like me who have a touch of social anxiety feeling welcomed has always been a big help for me and it's probably one of the many reasons I always want to go back and check out what I missed last time I was there So if you're like me and love thrift stores and being better about shopping places where they're not a huge chain type store check Global Thrift out I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed!! I'm actually wearing an outfit I got from there yesterday read more

Shaunnesy McNeely is a crook, not a charity as she claims. I believed in Global Thrifts mission of helping others as far as Africa. She knew I was divorcing a very abusive man, leaving me with an absurd amount of his debt and homeless for two years now. She emptied my house and promised to liquidate my items in order to help me. I had these things professionally appraised at $10,000 and archived on CD. She failed to return my calls for a year and wouldn't give me a receipt. She then sent me a check for $200 and texted I was an ingrate and would not help me. Some charity. Run. Ive been a humanitarian my whole life. If you can help me and my 14 yr old service dog, please text us: pigeons.coop@yahoo.com. Thank you. read more

It's s great store to shop in and volunteer! As a volunteer (and shopper!) I meet such nice and friendly people. And the other volunteers are great people to work with. I have to say that the people in charge of this non profit organization are such caring and loving people. We all enjoying working with them, and we are always looking to expand our volunteer family! Some of the volunteers work at our coffee shop in OldTown Arvada, Global Refuge and Coffee Shop. Stop by and visit us! read more

I just like the fact that things don't smell bad. Hate bad smelling thrift stores. Selection is good and things seem to turn over quickly, which is good for a shopper like me. A little bit out of the way, but worth it when I'm in Westminster/Arvada.. read more

I LOVE this place! Global Thrift has high quality items to select from (clothes are free of any stains or tears and are currently in-style; they also have nice household stuff, including furniture). Prices are also great (and they have a punch card for frequent visitors to get an additional discount). The best part is that the profits generated go to a great cause (empowing those in developing countries and refugees here in significant ways). I highly recommend! read more

They have an excellent selection for a small store. The personnel were friendly and helpful. The prices can't be beat.

It's clean, well arranged, and the prices are usually right in line with what one expects from a good thrift store. Not overpriced and the staff is genuinely helpful and pleasant. It will be a frequent stop for me. read more

This store is now one of my favorite thrift stores. They have a little of everything and the prices are very reasonable. Not much in the clothes area but after your done digging and searching through everything thing you have no money left for clothes! read more

I stopped into this thrift store on 5/2/18 around noon, they have many signs advertising fill a grocery bag with clothes for $7. I picked up a bag and started shopping through their two racks of clothes. I ended up finding 7 or 8 items that I rolled up and put in the bag. In addition I found a belt a pair of shoes and a pot with lid. When I took my items to the counter to pay the woman behind the counter started taking all of the items out of the bag (not sure if she thought something else was in there or what) but when she got done she told me that not all of the clothes would fit into the bag and I would have to pay for two bags.....Wait, what? When I took the bag to the counter it was EASILY able to be tied closed and I mean EASILY, like just tie it. While the woman behind the counter was taking my items out of the bag she seemed to be inspecting them and made several comments about the things I picked being very nice. So, basically she just decided that my picks were too nice to just cost $7 despite following the store posted rules to the letter. I explained that I followed the rules but she protested and said I would have to pay for two bags. Here's an idea people....charge a fixed price per item if you can't handle the fact the number of items each person fits into a bag is going to vary not only by the type of items selected but the person filling the bag. But then again who knew a THRIFT STORE selling donated USED CLOTHES would think they are Macy's instead of actually helping people which they claim is their mission. This place is an absolute joke and there is some kind of discrepancy every time I go here. The last time they tried to sell me a camera box with software but NO camera for $5 (which is still sitting there with no camera for $5). In addition several of the "volunteers" hit the sauce before donating their time making each experience just a little more unknown. There are way too many thrift stores in town to give your money to if you like enjoying your experience....and actually helping people. read more
