I was followed and harassed by an employee at this location. This employee very clearly followed me through every single isle and was clearly told that we did not want to be approached, and he continued to follow us. When this was brought to the attention of management it was completely brushed off and I was told that this is just how that employee is. The safety of your customers should be top priority so to be told that nothing will be done when I was clearly made to feel unsafe is completely ridiculous. read more

My daughters and I were in Denver for a softball tournament and we had the chance to try a few places. My daughter found this place on tik tok and was dying to go thrifting here. We decided to go, but here are a few tips: -Bring gloves. It is truly a big ass bin full of clothing and random items. -Wear long sleeves. Again, it can be pretty gross, so wearing this extra layer of clothing would've probably eased some germ fears. -Go through EVERYTHING. Pull up jackets, because underneath could be a great toaster. -Bring plastic/reusable bags. Any type of bag. Trash bag, any bag, because your items will be weighed on a big weight on the ground...so plan accordingly. -Parking. The parking is strange. It looks very industrial, so park on the street, or anywhere you can find parking. The staff/cashier was super kind and friendly. It made the experience that much better. I have been a couple times and although it's great to find treasures it's disturbing that there are "regulars" that are allowed to push and bully people with no help from staff. Also saw several occasions where staff is letting these people know which bins to get to first. take the fun out of it for people who aren't just RESELLING! Not sure what is going on at this location, but it seems to be either lacking donations, or more items are going to the online store or they don't have enough workers. The bins are not full, rotations are very infrequent and both times I've left spending far less than I normally do when shopping at this location. The cashiers that I have dealt with are very nice and respectful, the workers on the floor are loud, but just doing their jobs. I hope things turn around as I prefer this location, but will be visiting the other locations in Denver and Colorado Springs. read more

This place is truly my guilty pleasure. I love digging through the bins like a treasure hunt and finding some really great things! My only complaints are: it's filthy. EVERYTHING'S filthy. Lol. There's even literal trash in the bins at times. I understand these items are the rejects/overstocks from different Goodwill's around town, but could ya clean it up a bit? I've decided to start thrifting on Saturday's because I need to get out of my house. This place is odd. They roll out bins and people pounce on them like there is a million dollar lottery winner at the bottom. My kids and I love to shop at various thrift stores and do it all the time. This was our first time here though, and we woke up extra early to drive 30 minutes across town. We got there just after it opened. We'd been looking for about 5 minutes when an employee (older-ish woman with colorful hair) began yelling sternly "young man! Young MAN!" To my son, who was standing a few feet away from me. He looked confused and couldn't figure out why she was yelling at him. I walked over, took his hand and asked why she was yelling. She said "You're not allowed to be in here unless you're 16." I was very confused and asked what she was talking about, when she told us that we have to leave because he's not 16. (He's 10) She was not kind and gave no reason for her strange request. I asked if there was a sign posted, and she repeated, "you can't be here unless you're 16!" I walked over to get my daughter, and then to the front of the store to look for a sign with this ridiculous rule. There was no sign. I turned around to go back and speak with her or with someone else (I still wanted to shop!) but my kids were already mortified. People were staring. And then the thought crossed my mind. Not that my tiny little bit of business matters anyway, in the grand scheme of things, but...I didn't want to hand my hard earned money over to that rude weirdo anyway!!!! So we left, and went to about 6 other Goodwill stores and spent our money there. IF THIS IS A RULE (albeit an incredibly stupid one) THEN POST A SIGN ON THE FRONT DOOR. Bring gloves and patience. If you want a clean store, this is the wrong place. It's meant for quick processing and turnover. Things I've found are the most beautiful throw blanket buried under a pile of electronics, books from early 1900s are great for upcycling, collage, font fiends! Another lady in line found a rosewood end table which I kicked myself for not finding first. It's a by-the-pound pricing so it's very cheap. Don't judge this place, it's for real digging and treasure hunting! A few helpful hints: if you plan on staying there for awhile, invest in latex gloves, filtration mask and disinfecting wipes. If you see any carts, grab them. Many people who go stay there from open until close and they stay in sections around the perimeter as they fill up cart after cart. Some are there as they sell on eBay and others are there to send clothing and other items to relatives around the world. read more

Same one my son lost in a fire. Also a brand new gravity weighted blanket, $279.00 on the brand website, under $8.00. Package still sealed. Lots of great stuff at a real bargain. Some of the people were a little rude, but I found the cashier I went to very pleasant. Went there 5 days for the week for about an hour each time to kill time, wish I lived closer. read more

It looks like Goodwill must get the donations from a variety of places and they choose their destination accordingly. I'd guess the outlet sells things that comes to them in a way that causes them to do only a rough sorting and sell them by the pound. This doesn't mean they are selling only trash there, contrary to what a lot of these reviewers think. Several years ago I went to one off Federal that has since closed. I was a bit taken aback but dug around in the bins anyway. What I remember buying were a few volumes of a 100-year-old Encyclopedia Britannica- not the kind of thing I'd expect to see in an orderly, sorted thrift store. I was in the neighborhood of this one so I stopped by with my gloves, hand sanitizer and a bit of time. While there I saw both well used and brand new shoes and boots, a lot of matching plastic waste baskets, Brand-new and well used Christmas decorations and the same sort of things including. I saw several unworn dress shirts in my partner's size, unworn hand knitted sweaters and some pretty good books. Sure, there where some pretty dated books and a layer of mystery stuff on the bottom of many of the bins. When I saw how the bins are switch over I understood how they end up with broken glass and half pairs of shoes. I wouldn't call it a frenzy exactly but people are compelled to grab what looks good, go through it and take what works for them. The system leads to the damage more than the attitude of the people. It's certainly better than dumping all the stuff in a landfill or shipping it to developing nations (as a lot thrift stores do with their extras). I think thrift stores used to sell a lower quality of merchandise than they do now. You used to be able to get funky stuff, cheap furniture to redo- now many many of the larger ones, especially the for-profits, want to give the impression they're just an eco-friendly retail option like any other. Attention all thrifters... please please come in this place and check it out!! Don't get me wrong it's like a million garage sales just through up in blue bins and someone said "ready, set, go!" This place is pure chaos but it's a beautiful chaos! Now for the newbies, because today I was a total newbie... I would say bring some gloves to be able to grip, move things and to be safe from glass and broken items. Also make sure you have plenty of time to hunt around, because merch is constantly being put out into giant bins. Bring your own reusable bag or your big ikea blue bag to help hold you items because they don't do bags there. Again, I was new and was not ready! But oh next time... I will be!! To continue, as you walk in the front door, to the right is shoes, household and miscellaneous items. On the left is clothes, towels, sheets, covers and more shoes. Again, this stuff is all in huge blue rollaway bins so please take time to dig and move stuff!! Now the prices... ok so it's all based on weight. Clothing items are weighed separate from household items. There is a giant scale in front of the register that you can place your bags or cart onto. The cashier will subtract the weight of the shopping cart and the prices is based on the weight of your items. My best find today would be the Sorel boots that normally run $140 a pair and I got for $6!! The wife and I will definitely be returning this place. Here are my tips for Outlet World 1.Bring gloves the bins are very dusty and you'll need to dig for tiny treasures. 2. Plan on spending at least a couple hours here make sure you have just eaten or bring a snack, you are going to be looking through a myriad of stuff. 3. Don't go into the Outlet World looking for something specific, you won't find it. Be open to the possibility of finding something cool, but don't expect it. I'm a crafter so I always find cool little bits and bobs. I've found large wooden puzzle pieces, bingo numbers, broken dolls to up cycle, old X-mas lights to use for Steampunk stuff, cool books with pictures to use for collage, yarn,ribbon, vintage wrapping paper, craft kits. Also as far as the clothes go I look for neat prints, unusual texture. Do check for holes and stains but if you're using the clothes to reconstruct that hole or stain might not matter! Most of all have FUN! Your new treasures are staying out of the landfill! read more

We had a very bad experience here. My daughters were yelled at because they went in and they only let people over the age of 16 and my daughters are 12 and 9, I mean it's alright if they can't go because of their safety, but it's not okay for the people that work there yell at them. While the saying of "One man's trash is another man's treasure" could be true, it is not true here. I wouldn't call this place a "Goodwill" outlet store as a very large majority of the items in the bins are complete trash that shouldn't be passed on to any willing buying patron. Nearly everything I found was covered in dirt, stained beyond repair, or broken. To the people who believe it was a good idea to donate such filth; shame on you! I understand that many shoppers come here to find cheaply priced items to send to family members across the sea but I didn't see anything worth shipping to family members. I was very surprised to see one family fill up five carts full of actually nice items to purchase but that was probably after spending their entire day there digging through the trash heaps. I may love a good bargain but I would not return to this place with a ten-foot pole - people have limits and unless you enjoy going dumpster diving I would not suggest coming here by any means. First off, if you don't understand the concept of the OUTLET stores Goodwill has, well, this place isn't for you. I've been to one before so I knew what to expect, I just dislike the sheer insanity that goes on when a new bin comes out. It's like someones handing out free lunch and only the first 5 ppl get one but theres 100 and you have to fight it out until the end....or something like that. Bring gloves and be careful when digging in bins. Bins are trashed after the flea market, online, and other sellers get into them. To find good stuff you have to dig deep and slowly peel the layers of crap on top off. I did see Xmas trees, gold clubs, new dinnerware, lots of CDs, shoes and clothing that looked semi decent. Don't even look at anyones buggy. If you touch it, you will get a talking to - most folks have at least 2 carts full of stuff by 10am.....folks are in here for hours on end waiting for new bins to come out of infinite amount of space in back. I swear there are hundreds of bins in back waiting to come out. I did find a set of unique serving plates that caught me eye for $5.15. Other than that, nothing else really did and I wasn't going to jump in with the folks that were going through fresh bins. read more

I haven't always had the best of luck at regular thrift stores. but the Goodwill outlet world is a little different. there's everything you could think of that someone might donate. you end up finding what you're looking for and so much more! the coolest part about this, though, is that you pay by the pound. it was definitely worth my time, and I'm set for the new season in fashions latest trends and brands! read more

If you think some of the stained clothes they try to sell at the Goodwill retail stores are bad, you haven't seen anything yet! This is the place where the thrift store rejects go to die. All the donations Goodwill receives that are broken, horribly stained or soiled in human waste get shipped here. I made the mistake of visiting this place twice and saw everything from period-stained gym shorts and pants soiled with fecal matter to broken glass and uncapped needles lying in the open bins that one must dig through the find merchandise. It was a total nightmare. Most of the customer base here are folks who travel up from Mexico to purchase cheap goods for their flea markets. That's all well and fine, but they are very aggressive folk who like to push, shove and steal from other shopper's carts. It creates an environment of high stress and high drama, which makes for an utterly miserable shopping experience. If you're looking for goodies that aren't irreparably damaged or saturated in some stranger's bodily fluids (seriously -- ugh!), you're better off sifting through the racks of ARC or some lesser-known, mom and pop style thrift stores. read more

By far this Goodwill Outlet is by far the best place to go and shop by bulk. Of course, gloves are required as some of the merchandise and furniture remain dusty. But it's expected. Yes, you can find almost anything it's so cool and the deeper you dig in the bins, the more vintage collectibles you find. I personally love this location because I found all these wonderful vintage toys and accessories. SUMMARY: I like the concept, but the execution was bad. I was really let down by this place. I love going to Goodwill stores and from the size of the building, I was expecting row after row of all kinds of gently used items. Unfortunately, the sales part of this store is actually not much bigger than a normal Goodwill store. The rest of the building is reserved for sorting operations. There were some rare finds (lawn mowers and golf clubs) but mostly it was full of shoes, clothing, and holiday decorations. The quality of a good portion of the items was very poor. Many items were broken and mangled. I have no problem buying something from a thrift shop that needs a little work and cleaning (in fact, I usually expect it) but many of the items here were completely unfixable. The shoes were disgusting compared to those at other thrift stores. Most had holes, caked on dirt, and noticeable odors. The one bright side is that the clothing seemed to be fairly good (no stains or holes), so if you have the time/patience and need mostly clothing, there are some excellent deals to be had since the prices are incredibly low. Otherwise, I'd save the time and skip this particular Goodwill store. read more

Ok, as a professional buyer I am going against everything I know by letting you folks in on this place. I went today (a thursday) for the first time. I spent about 50 bucks on shoes, clothing and some electronics. It was a total of 20 items. I priced them out and I will get between 400-700 for the lot. I consider this a decent day. I didn't find any total treasure. If you don't like digging and competing I would not venture here. I would say that at least 80% of the people there were pro's, like me. I am picky, others are not.... I am going tomorrow at open, apparently that is when all the best deals are as it is all fresh unpicked through merchandise. If you are for real I would consider going as a team, as they bring out several bins at a time and getting first grabs at this place is essential. It closes at 8pm and they bring out fresh carts until 630 or so. read more

I am a re-seller, so I shop here mostly for resale goods... I'm not hardcore like some people. Some folks sit there all day, and before judging them too harshly, some of the people are dirty and rough on the edges, but quite nice and pull 6-figure salaries out this place. I think the reviews of this place are overly harsh when you consider Goodwill's mission which is to keep goods out of landfills (something like 85% of their donations get used and sold because of these outlet stores) and employing people who need work. I've reviewed the store on Mississippi as well. These places are dirty... really dirty. But really this is what you don't see at the retail stores, people donate lots of trash and these places sort it out. At the Outlet stores though they mostly just pull out what is dangerous and then the customers deal with the rest. Yes, it is dusty, and frantic and can be aggressive. It is really not for everyone and people expecting a tidy thrift store experience will not find one here. I happen to live in Park Hill so I go often, and have found incredible things, but you have to be willing to dig for them: High-end clothes Sealed LEGO, toys, housewares 1st edition antique books CASH (yup, money in the bins) Beautiful hundred year old antiques... But I have found some bad stuff too: Glass A mouse (ick.) and... worse. Most people say these are the items the retail Goodwill stores turned away, but it is not necessarily because it is unsellable, they are just overwhelmed and short on space. They receive a lot of goods directly. Anyway, It's not for everyone. Bring gloves and an open mind. I'm not saying it's a "pleasant" shopping experience, but a worthwhile one for many. read more

My sister and I both go here mostly for fun because it truly is an adventure! It took us a couple times visiting to really appreciate this unique shopping experience so I'm glad we tried multiple times. It's not very clean but you can find incredible deals. It's always a plus that the staff is very polite and try there best to keep the store clean. My only issue is how rude the regular customers are. Take your time and you'll find something great! Low stars due to the fact that some of the clientele here can make it pretty miserable for other rule-abiding shoppers. There's a gang of merry-too-small-Abercrombie-polo-wearing-fellows who sit by the back wall and have absolutely TOO many carts. Seriously...I thought it was 2 per person?! Either they are tricking the staff with their whistles and cat-calls or they are all in cahoots...because these gentleman (I'm stretching the word here)...steal from the bins before it's time to shop EVERY TIME. The lady with the Nike gloves and her posse are just as bad. Just because you don't speak English doesn't mean you don't have to follow the rules. Or maybe here, it does. Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that this store is a common denominator for all walks of life, but something needs to be done to make sure everyone is following the rules. Seems like, in a perfect world, your regular and daily shoppers would be setting a good example for newbees. It's a hard job to keep these folks in line for sure, and I appreciate the hard work by the staff. That being said, either the staff don't care about these groups of rule breakers, or they seriously are not paying attention. I believe it's the prior.
